...

When Ivan received a call from Kyle about the trouble Nick Fury had caused. His son even had the audacity laugh at him. However, this was self-inflicted. Ivan originally wanted to teach Pierce a lesson through Nick Fury, but he didn't expect to get himself involved.

Ivan had never suffered such a loss before, especially now that the world wanted him. Although he habitually used nano-robots to change his appearance when meeting outsiders, making it impossible for anyone to recognize him, Ivan still couldn't let it go and decided to take revenge.

Thinking for a moment, Ivan acted quickly. He used magic to create hundreds of energy clones that resembled him as he looked when he first met Nick Fury. He then sent these clones worldwide, making them appear in crowded places.

S.H.I.E.L.D., the CIA, the FBI, and other agencies, already anxious because they had lost Kyle, soon received reports of Ivan's sightings. They were thrilled but soon confused as more reports came in from different locations. They couldn't tell which Ivan was real.

Unable to determine the real Ivan, the agencies captured all the clones and sorted them out later. Agents and the military were mobilized to arrest hundreds of Ivans simultaneously.

However, Ivan's clones, unafraid of death, fought against the agents. While the clones were eventually killed, the agents and troops also suffered heavy losses.

In just a few days, there were hundreds of fierce clashes worldwide. The destruction and civilian casualties resulted in significant losses for many countries, yet nothing was gained. After being killed, Ivan's energy clones quickly dissipated, leaving the agents' efforts futile.

When the last clone was killed, the agents were ready to rest, but they soon received news of hundreds more Ivans appearing worldwide. Exhausted agents almost cried in frustration. They had no choice but to follow orders and continue their mission.

Despite their efforts, the second round ended like the first, with no success. Not long after, a third wave of energy clones appeared, stronger than before.

Frustrated by repeated failures, the hidden powers finally sent out their trump cards. Hydra's Winter Soldiers, Colonel Trek's mutant squad, the British wizard army, and various mysterious forces like vampires and werewolves all emerged.

Ivan, initially just playing mind games, became genuinely interested. He created more powerful energy clones and even participated in the battles, comparing strength with werewolves, speed with vampires, and magic with wizards. He also used illusions to mess up the mutants' sanity. Ivan suppressed his power to a low range through these battles and gained much experience.

As time went on, the battle intensified, and the aftermath caused significant damage. Although Ivan tried to control the situation to minimize innocent casualties, the losses were still substantial. This led to Ivan becoming widely hated, like a rat everyone wanted to eliminate.

Nick Fury regretted his actions. He hadn't anticipated things would escalate this much. He realized he shouldn't have betrayed Ivan. Now, Fury was desperate and even temporarily halted his investigation of Hydra to try to contact Ivan and make peace.

Unfortunately, the only contact Ivan had left Fury was Kyle, and with Kyle missing, Fury felt powerless.

One day, after a long day at the office, Fury was about to leave when he sensed something was wrong. He quickly drew a gun from his drawer, ready to defend himself.

Suddenly, his office seemed to fold in, and a strange force pulled him into a unique space. "Hello, Director Fury. I am the guardian of the Earth, the Sorcerer Supreme, Ancient One. We need to talk," said a bald woman in a yellow robe who appeared out of thin air, her expression calm and emotionless.

"Supreme Mage, leader of the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj. I've heard of you. It's quite rare for someone of your stature to visit my small office at S.H.I.E.L.D.," Fury replied, his tone tinged with sarcasm.

As the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury was aware of many hidden forces on Earth and knew of the Sorcerer Supreme. However, he didn't have a high opinion of the Ancient One, feeling that despite their great power, the sorcerers were too detached, allowing countless tragedies and evil acts to occur without intervention. His tone reflected this, subtly mocking her.

The Ancient One didn't react to Fury's sarcasm. She had encountered such reactions many times. To others, Kamar-Taj might seem selfish, but most of their energy was spent resisting Dormammu's invasions. They didn't have the resources to help with other matters, and they couldn't publicize their fight against Dormammu without risking more people turning to Dormammu for his dark powers, which would be catastrophic.

"I hope you can end your conflict with Ivan Shaw and stop trying to capture him. You have no idea how terrifying the enemy you're facing is. Continuing this fight could destroy the world," the Ancient One warned.

"Master Ancient One, isn't that a bit dramatic? Even you can't deal with him? If you at Kamar-Taj weren't so aloof, always hiding in your dark corners while watching countless tragedies unfold without help, we wouldn't be in this mess," Fury retorted.

Fury knew the Ancient One was probably right, considering that Ivan had given him a weapon capable of destroying the world, which meant he likely had even more powerful weapons. However, Fury was unwilling to follow the Ancient One's advice.

At this moment, Fury instinctively touched his eye patch, feeling the texture beneath it, and reassured himself that his eye was still there.

"Alas! We also have our own difficulties, and I need to find out the specifics. But please believe that we have been working hard to protect the Earth and fight against an evil existence. We don't even dare to name it. Originally, we hoped to use Ivan Shaw's power to fight this evil, but that's no longer possible."

Master Gu Yi paused momentarily, then continued, "Ivan Shaw's strength is beyond your capability. So far, he has only been playing with you. Although the Earth's special nature prevents it from being easily destroyed, Ivan could still wipe out humanity if he chose to. He could destroy Manhattan in two minutes, New York State in half an hour, the United States in a day, and the Earth in about 15 days. Of course, he might need to rest during this process, so it might take him half a month to destroy humanity. And remember, nuclear weapons do not affect him. If he decided to use his advanced tech, he could achieve his goal in hours or minutes."

Nick Fury listened intently, finally grasping the extent of Ivan's power. He was shocked and fell into deep thought before suddenly asking, "According to what you said, Ivan Shaw is practically a god. Such a person should view all living beings as ants and not care about the lives of ordinary people. Yet, despite our provocation, he has shown mercy. He has not harmed innocents during this conflict or even saved many lives."

"That's because he has placed a shackle on himself to maintain his bottom line. He has been suppressing his power. If he were to unleash it fully, he could gain the ability to destroy the universe in a few hours. But the cost would be losing his emotions and becoming a thoughtless monster, which he doesn't want. He uses emotional ties to keep himself in check."

"So that's it. But how do you know this so well? This seems like a weakness he wouldn't normally share. What is your relationship with him? Could it be..." Fury's eyes gleamed with suspicion.

"Of course, he didn't tell me. I learned this from a special existence, one that always stands on the side of humanity and thinks about our well-being," Master Gu Yi explained. She extended her hand, revealing a white light ball in her palm. If Ivan had been here, he would have recognized it as a gift from Alaya. Master Gu Yi, who absorbed dark power to fight Dormammu, was eroded by it. The light ball was integrated into her body to counteract the dark power's erosion. Through this light ball, she could communicate with Alaya and obtain information about Ivan.
