Destined Villain's Life

Chapter 7: [7] Wildart Dejlin

In the end, Zick slept for less than five hours. This didn't affect him much physically, with his stats, Staying up for multiple days at once wasn't a problem.

Changing his clothes from comfortable shorts to expensive pants. Zick searched for a while and chose a dark blue shirt in his ring with long sleeves - light blue waves like snow were spread throughout the shirt.

Entering the bathroom, Zick took a close look at himself and nodded. His face might be average, but he didn't care much. He just wanted to make himself more presentable.

'Father should be arriving soon. I remember that he could only visit for ten minutes, So I can only be straightforward this time.' Zick planned calmly, showing one of his habits.

He sat on the rim of the bed after getting ready.

Finding a notification in the electronic tablet, beside his bed, Zick took a look at it. A message was displayed on its screen.

(A full-medical check-up has been scheduled at 1:00 PM. Personal staff shall visit the patient at the given time, please cooperate accordingly. - Dr.Millert)

Seeing that it wasn't from Deinken, Zick didn't bother taking a second glance. If it wasn't his own person, then their worth was close to zero.

Getting bored waiting, Zick lost himself in thinking of ways to harm Ethereal.

Cluck~

At some point, the sound of the door being pushed open spread through the room, breaking Zick's concentration.

A familiar figure walked towards Zick with steady and resolute steps.

'Father...' Zick gazed at his father calmly, he was little surprised by his own emotions. He thought it would be a little more emotional reunion.

Unexpectedly, his head was just filled with slight worry for his father and how to destroy Ethereal.

Unlike Zick, his father's face was more handsome. He appeared to be in his mid-twenties. But in reality, he was more than 200 years old.

Life expectancy of an A-rank personal was almost 500 years. His father was a figure that surpassed SSS-rank, possessing unbelievable potential. But still, the main pillar of Dejlin heritage was Zick's grandfather, someone who could shake up the whole world - standing at the peak of this world.

Zick's father had long black hair reaching below his shoulder and his eyes were as sharp as a sword. His golden eyes stared at Zick as if to understand his situation. Instantly, his eyes shone as he felt the lesser sword intent within Zick. Even the spiritual aspect couldn't escape his eyes.

[Ding! An individual with high destiny has been found.]

Seeing that his father was busy looking at his condition, Zick 's eyes shifted to the system.

[Name: Wildart Dejlin

Destiny grade: Very rare

Destiny: The senator of pristine sky continent (completed)

Favourability: 80 (Deep familial affection)]

A bleak light passed by Zick's eyes: 'Being a Senator is just a very rare grade destiny? Celene possessed epic grade destiny on the other hand, which seems out of place.'

Even if Celene became the head of a great six family, her strength was limited.

'...She might have a connection with something or someone with higher destiny.'

This was the only good explanation for the difference in destiny.

Dragging a table beside Zick, Wildart sat on it comfortably. Originally, he was worried about his son's condition, but after checking with his own eyes - his worry evaporated.

"I can only stay for 10 minutes, so just say what you want." Wildart spoke coldly, but his eyes showed rare satisfaction.

Zick clenched his fists. As expected, Wildart wanted to reward him, he resolutely stared into his father's eyes.

"I want to borrow some strong assassins, around SS-rank if possible."

"Hmm..." Wildart's brow rose listening to Zick's request. He couldn't help but scrutinize Zick's face.

His son was strangely mature from a young age, others would have worried. But Wildart felt satisfaction from such temperament and little guilt in his heart.

'Zick has grown up quickly since the disappearance of his mother. However, I didn't expect he would grow up this fast...'

The Zick before him seemed completely different from before. It felt like he was watching a hunting hound, who could do anything to shred the enemy to pieces.

"....Alright, you can borrow anyone you want from my royal hounds. You can ask the secret watchers for any information too, I will inform them about this matter."

As a senator, Wildart had raised his own group of wild dogs too. Dogs who will only be loyal to the Dejlin family and bared their teeths at others.

A sharp light flashed by Zick's eyes, he moved a step closer towards his plan.

"Thanks, father. Please read this diary as you head back in the car."

Wildart simply nodded his head and accepted the diary from Zick. Reading it in his free time didn't cost him anything.

"I heard about your sparring with another classmate. After the academy starts, challenge her again and don't hold back." Wildart spoke seriously, his eyes narrowed.

"I understand." Zick nodded his head blankly.

"Remember, don't underestimate your opponent and win at all costs." Wildart spoke firmly, as if to imprint it into Zick's head.

Zick nodded his head and intently looked at his father.

'He thinks I'm traumatized due to losing against Aster. No matter how much I try to hide my changes, he must have perceived it a little. He must have connected the dots to the only incident before my hospitalization.' Zick ignored his father's words internally, while being obedient outside.

Talking with his father about how his days in the academy were spent. Wildart left with a relaxed gait.

Left alone, Zick walked towards the window and watched the small garden before him.

'This hospital really looks after it's patient.' Zick gazed blankly at the patients walking peacefully in the garden. He looked up slowly, seeing multiple skyscrapers Standing proudly in the distance.

The distant building seemed to put pressure on Zick: "More than 20% of business must already be under Ethereal in the mainland at this time....."

Knock~

Someone weakly knocked on the door.

Zick instantly smiled slightly, knowing who it was without a problem. There was no need for verification, his instinct was screaming a single name.

Aster!

Before regression, Zick was very helpless against Aster, who rose up to the prime of her life. However, now it was different.

'I won't let you go easily, if you don't suffer - my mind can't be at ease.' Dark fire seemed to be burning within Zick's red eyes.

Zick had given priority to his revenge targets, with Ethereal being in the top. He wouldn't hesitate to give up smaller revenge for the bigger one. But he didn't have to worry about it while making Aster suffer.

'She will be my biggest card against Ethereal this way.'

Calming down, Zick turned towards the door fully and spoke: "Come in."
