Chapter 371: I've Got A Dungeon Full Of Sex Slaves
While the trio were still wondering what he was going to do, Cassius flicked his fingers toward Noah.
"Start recording...Let's finish this quickly,."
Noah fumbled with the device, but quickly obeyed, holding it steady while backing several steps away. A faint red light pulsed alive upon the orb, it was recording.
Meanwhile, Cassius moved forward to the edge of the pit, his silhouette framed against the smoldering smoke and the grotesque sight of half-burned bodies, ash, and bone.
"Attention!" His voice boomed, smooth and commanding, rising above the murmurs of the families and the soldiers alike. "Can I get your attention once again?"
The words cut through the air, and instantly the murmurs died. Every head turned to him. Eyes filled with awe, with fear, with reverence, locked upon him.
To them, this man was terrifying yet divine, both savior and monster. And so they listened, holding their breath.
"Forgive me for bothering you again. I promise it won't happen twice." Cassius chuckled lightly, lifting one hand in an almost apologetic gesture. "But...the young master has one last announcement to make."
Whispers stirred, curious, uneasy, while Cassius's smile widened.
"You see, the young master wanted to make certain that justice was served properly." His tone dropped into something darker, carrying like thunder through the night air. "That these criminals not only died, but suffered, even after death. That their sins would follow them into hell."
His eyes gleamed with a chilling light, and a ripple of dread passed through the crowd. They shivered, bracing for whatever horror he would announce next.
And then he said it.
"That is why...the young master has not only executed these men, but also taken their families."
"...Every wife, daughter, sister, and mother belonging to these criminals—he has stolen them away."
A collective gasp tore through the crowd. Faces blanched, voices rose in a storm of disbelief.
"What?!"
"No...impossible…"
"He took the women too?!"
"What wrong did they do?!"
Julie's lips also parted in shock, Skadi stiffened where she stood, and Aisha's eyes widened in disbelief.
None of them had expected this turn.
"Do not misunderstand." Cassius continued smoothly, his voice unwavering. "The young master has no intention of killing them. They were not directly at fault for the sins of their husbands, fathers, or brothers."
"...They will not suffer the same death you have witnessed here tonight." He gestured casually toward the pit, toward the grotesque remains.
The crowd exhaled collectively in relief, shoulders sagging. Murmurs passed through them, thankful murmurs, that at least the innocent women would be spared.
But Cassius's lips curved into a smile. A single word left his mouth.
"…But."
The air tightened. Every eye snapped back to him.
"They will still suffer." Cassius declared, his tone cruel and certain. "They will pay for the consequences of what these men have done."
"That's why, from this day forward, the young master will keep them locked in the dungeons beneath his mansion...as slaves. Sex slaves used only for depravity."
"Their bodies will be toyed with, their minds broken, until they regret every sin committed by the men who once protected them...Until their souls themselves cry for repentance."
The crowd erupted immediately.
"What?!"
"That's evil!"
"He can't, he can't do that!"
"Those poor girls!"
Their voices rose in outrage, disbelief, horror.
But Cassius didn't falter. His voice carried above theirs, sharp and merciless.
"Whether the women are wives. Daughters. Sisters...Even grandmothers. The young master does not care."
His gaze swept over them, cold and unwavering.
"They will remain in his dungeon until their last breath...Justice will be delivered, and their bodies will serve as the vessel of their repentance."
He said it with such certainty, with such force, that many recoiled instinctively, their anger drowned beneath the weight of fear. The crowd's cries twisted into broken whispers.
"I knew it...I knew he was no good…"
"Those poor girls...they'll suffer for something they didn't do…"
Another voice, bitter with resignation muttered,
"But what can we do? He's the young master of the Holyfield household. One of the most powerful men in the world, even though he is the most useless in the family. We are nothing. Those women are nothing."
"...Fate has simply claimed them."
The once-awed crowd was now a sea of horrified, broken expressions. The gratitude they had felt moments ago dissolved into disgust, fear, and pity.
When Cassius had first told them that the young master of the Holyfield estate was the one orchestrating all of this, that he was the one who had gathered the criminals, burned them, and brought justice, they couldn't help but think that perhaps, despite all the vile rumors that surrounded him, he had still done a good deed.
That he had managed to save them from their misery and restore peace to their families.
In that moment, for the first time, they had allowed themselves to think of him in a better light, to believe that maybe the young master wasn't as wicked as people claimed.
But now, that fragile impression was completely shattered...Destroyed beyond repair.
After hearing his declaration of how he was going to torment the women, how he would use their bodies, innocent though they were, the crowd could only turn against him once more.
Their minds filled with revulsion and horror, their stomachs twisted at the thought.
To them, he was no savior. He was a monster, a fiend who had only used this situation to his advantage, saving them on one hand while secretly stealing away all those women with the other.
And as the weight of his words sank deeper, they could not help but think how utterly pitiful those women were, condemned to a fate worse than death in the dungeons of a man they now saw as cruel, despicable, and beyond redemption.
And through it all, Aisha, Julie, and Skadi stood frozen, utterly dumbfounded. Their hearts hammered as they listened to Cassius's cruel declaration.
They knew him. They knew him.
And they knew these words were lies.
Maybe, if they had only heard the rumors, back before they ever met him, they might have believed it. After all, the stories of the "young master of Holyfield estate" were filled with shadows, whispers of evil and cruelty.
But now?...No.
They knew better.
Which left only one question echoing in their minds, heavy as lead:
Why?
Why was he doing this?
Why was Cassius, of all people, spinning this monstrous lie before their very eyes?
The three women stared at him in wonder, bewildered and shaken, as the crowd whispered in horror and Noah's device captured every word.
Meanwhile, Cassius stood at the edge of the pit, the glow of charred bodies still flickering beneath him. Around him the crowd murmured in low, venomous voices. Every whisper carried his name, cursed, spat out with venom.
"Monster…"
"Demon…"
"Bastard…"
"Utter scum…"
He could hear it all, every word. And yet, he didn't so much as flinch. The corners of his mouth twitched upward, as if the hatred sliding over him were nothing more than a cool breeze.
His eyes the turned to toward Noah, who was still clutching the recording device with trembling hands.
"You got that too?" Cassius asked, his voice steady, almost amused.
Noah's knees nearly buckled as he nodded frantically. "O-Of course, sir! Every single bit of it, your speech, their reactions, all of it! It's all recorded perfectly."
"Good job." Cassius's tone softened just a fraction, the smile on his lips curling into something almost approving.
He then reached into his coat and pulled out a folded envelope, its seal pressed tight.
"One more favor, then." He said, holding it out. "Take this along with the recording. Deliver them personally to the Holyfield estate. Give them to the butler, Lucius...Only him. He'll take care of the rest."
Noah blinked, momentarily startled, before bowing his head again and taking the letter with shaking fingers.
"Y-Yes, of course, sir! Anything for you, sir!"
Without another word, he turned and bolted away into the night, clutching the letter and device like treasures, running as though the devil himself were at his heels.
Cassius watched him vanish, and with a faint chuckle murmured under his breath.
"Ran off before I could even say thank you." His grin widened slightly.
But when he turned his head again, he found three pairs of eyes fixed on him. Julie, Skadi, and Aisha, all staring. Their expressions were a mixture of confusion, disbelief, and something close to exasperation.
"What? Why are you staring at me like that?" Cassius tilted his head. "You're creeping me out."
