Demonic Pornstar System

Chapter 487: Privacy Shield

Kaiden's vision flickered to the new line that had slid across the edge of his interface.

[Domain Privacy Shield: No individual or device may record, transmit, or capture sensory data within the Successor's domain without explicit approval. Mana cameras, surveillance spells, and external systems are nullified.]

He let out a soft laugh, watching the woman below throw a hissy fit reminiscent of gamer rage moments he was pretty acquainted with from his dejected college days.

But he had to give credit where credit was due. Perhaps it was not right of him to compare the two situations. After all, this woman was not angry due to being beaten in a video game, but because she put her life on the line, and nothing was going as she had planned. She came into a dungeon that had changed owners without understanding what that change actually entailed, but could she be faulted for that?

What happened right now was an anomaly, pure and simple. Humans had no understanding of dungeon inheritance, Dungeon Master Interfaces, much less about how Kaiden had the Demonic Pornstar System, which now cannibalized the dungeon system and made it even more unique and, truth be told, plainly unfair.

But despite understanding why she was frustrated, it did not mean Kaiden looked at the woman favorably. Not one bit. She came here with harmful intentions, and she would pay for that dearly.

Kaiden's focus moved to something else in his vision.

[Harem Vision: Active]

[Linked Feeds: Kaiden, Nyx, Calypso, Luna, Aria, Bastet]

His personal view still saved smoothly.

His girls' views did too.

Because the shield only blocked external attempts, not internal permissions. The system treated his household as extensions of him, not even asking if he wanted to give them permission to film.

In the living room, several screens displayed the ongoing fight, using multiple angles.

Kaiden had already decided: "All this stays private."

They would revisit every second of it later. That was already settled. Each angle, each misstep, each opening the intruders failed to see. Kaiden had grown used to studying his own footage for improvement, and his girls had adopted the same habit. Their shared archive had become a training tool, not mere entertainment for the public.

And while it was true that most of those tapes would make their way to their newest videos, Kaiden sensed that this would not be the case all the time, moving on. Truth be told, they were getting more and more alienated from what was the norm, at least for the humanity of Earth.

With each new gain they made, the gap between them and what was thought to be normal widened drastically. And while that was more than fine, as it would give them even more clout and views. But, frankly…

Kaiden and co were already famous enough. He did not need to reveal his biggest secrets just to keep rising.

The Awakened Media Platform's algorithm was pushing them to new eyes even right this moment, without Kaiden having to release a new video of his most recent outlandish adventure. That did not mean he'd stop - not one bit. The goal was still Ultimate Stardom, as it led to outright supremacy thanks to his system's rank-up rewards.

But what this meant was that he could be selective with what they upload, not needing to reveal their newest adventure if it was of delicate information.

As such, this recording they were filming right now would stay sealed.

Letting strangers online gawk at their layouts, rotations, and response times would be reckless. The dungeon was not a spectacle for curious viewers. It was the last barrier between outside threats and his girls. Turning it into content would be the same as handing out a walkthrough to anyone who wanted to do harm.

Maybe one day, these tapes would reach the public's eyes as a retrospective highlight reel or a documentary edit. But that day was not today.

For now, the entire event would stay locked inside his private archive, stored for training, not fame. A mystery to the world, and a tool only for those who lived here.

Kaiden shifted his focus back to the group still standing. They had started with fifty. Now only a fraction remained. Their levels hovered around the seventies, a mighty strike team by most standards. Enough strength to bulldoze through a standard dungeon. But nothing here was standard.

That being said, Kaiden had to admit one thing. While they did hit hard, none of them were at the very peak. There was likely no S-tier awakened present, and no one pushed past level eighty. As such, while this group was a heavy-hitting one, it was not on the level of a big organization's A-team, like the best combat group of New Dawn, the guild led by Vespera and Magnus Ashborn.

Perhaps not even their C-team, truth be told.

The only uncertainties were the two who had stayed still the entire time. They hadn't drawn a weapon, hadn't cast a spell, hadn't even raised a hand. Their levels and tier stayed unreadable.

The man finally exhaled and spoke.

"We have to retreat. Regroup, reorganize our ranks, and come back with specialists built for this layout."

The woman snapped toward him.

"What specialist?!"

His tone stayed steady as he responded. "Rune can dismantle traps from a distance. If he can get rid of the spike traps, half our problems would be cleared. And Misty can stay hovering above the front line of our tanks. She could take shots at that buffer creature without entering its range, and if it was needed, she could even fly above the traps like the monsters, without triggering them."

The woman's breath left her in a slow hiss. Her posture loosened as his reasoning settled in. The anger didn't vanish, but the edge softened. She gave a short nod.

"Fine. This was supposed to be a good opportunity, but the defenses here run deeper than we expected. We pull back."

She lifted her arm and signaled her men.

"Form up! We're leaving!"

The survivors moved with practiced precision. There was no panicked scrambling, no scattered steps. They gathered their wounded, checked their count, then shifted into a tight formation.

Kaiden watched their retreating forms, and a slow, cruel grin began to materialize on his lips.
