Demonic Pornstar System

Chapter 332: You Wouldn't!

Kaiden's hand hovered mid-air, finger cocked back like a gun.

Alice's smile froze. Her eyes widened, then darted to his hand in terror.

"W-Wait, wait, wait, big brother! Y-You wouldn't-!" she stammered, jerking against her restraints, but the runic shackles only clanked uselessly. Her shoulders wriggled like a trapped rabbit, black hair spilling into her face as she desperately tried to lean away from the incoming doom.

Kaiden flicked.

His fingertip snapped forward with precision, aimed straight at her forehead across the transparent wall.

There was no physical impact—of course, there couldn't be—but Alice jolted as though she'd been struck by a sucker punch to the gut. Her eyes began watering instantly.

"Too cruel!" she whimpered with accusation, voice wobbling as fat tears began to roll down her cheeks. "You're too cruel, big brother! How could you do this to your loving little sister?! Don't you know younger sisters are to be cherished? To be spoiled? To be showered with love, not cruelly punished!!"

Her pout quivered, lower lip trembling in despair.

"How curious. But alas, a big brother's duty is to set their younger siblings on the right path when they stray." Kaiden didn't flinch at the heavy accusations thrown at him. His unimpressed stare could've frozen magma.

He stared deep into the teenage girl's red irises. "I'll say this only once, Alice. I am never breaking up with them. Those four are anything but gold diggers. And another thing…" His tone sharpened even further. "What exactly did you mean by 'done anything with them?' They're my lovers. We're all adults. I don't need your permission; we can do whatever we damn well want."

He then looked at the cameras aimed right at him and added with a whisper, "So long as the law permits…"

Hearing his firm words, Alice froze again while tears still glittered at the corner of her eyes. Then she bit her lip and puffed her cheeks up with indignation. Her restraints clinked angrily as she tried to shift in her seat like a sulking child.

"Unfair!" she declared, voice rising shrill but still strangely adorable. "Unfair, unfair, unfair! If you're going to spoil them with your love, then I deserve at least as much affection! At least! If you won't discard them, then treat me the same! I'm your sister, I should be even more important, but I'll settle for being just as important! Aren't I a nice little sister?"

Her tone wobbled between yandere obsession and childish petulance.

Kaiden's stare didn't soften. He just leaned forward, elbows on the dungeon-stone table, watching her brood as if she were a tantrum-throwing toddler instead of an infamous awakened terrorist chained like a nuclear warhead.

Seeing his deep eyes, Alice's bravado showed signs of cracking for the first time. She faltered. Her fingers twitched helplessly against her bonds, her gaze snapping between his eyes and the table.

Her voice came smaller, thinner. "W-What is wrong-" she began, trying to slip back into innocent tones.

But his gaze hardened further.

Alice stopped mid-sentence. Her throat clicked as she swallowed, refusing to finish. Because she knew. If she dared to pretend innocence right now, the punishment would be even worse than the last time.

And she hated—absolutely hated—being punished by her beloved big brother.

So her lips clamped shut. Her wide, watery eyes stayed fixed on him, trembling with love and fear all at once.

But the damage had already been done.

Kaiden's eyes narrowed to slits. He slipped a folded paper from his jacket. Alice froze instantly, having a horribly wrong premonition about the future.

"What is wrong, you ask? Let's see, shall we?"

He unfolded the paper and began to read, each word clipped and mercilessly lacking in emotions, which, knowing her big brother, Alice knew meant he was not happy with her, not one bit.

"Charge one: Two A-tier awakened hospitalized with critical injuries."

Alice flinched as her horrible premonition became reality. Her big brother was angry.

"Charge two: Four B-tier subordinates currently in emergency surgery. Prognosis, grim. Possible permanent disability."

Her eyes darted downward.

"Charge three: Thirty million dollars in infrastructure damage. Bridges collapsed, roads torn apart, a small district of businesses evacuated."

Alice winced, her ears turning pink as if his scolding words were the true disaster, not being shackled to an underground prison with such serious charges.

Kaiden's tone darkened further. "Charge four: Attempted first-degree murder, self-professed. You declared, and I quote, 'I'll murder every single member of ChronosX!'"

"K-Kai, I can explain!!"

"You will do no such thing."

The girl shrank back in her chair, biting her lower lip hard enough that it bled.

He lowered the paper an inch and gave her a glare sharp enough to pin her in place. "Does it still sound like nothing is wrong?"

But he wasn't done. He lifted the paper again.

"Charge five: Illegal acquisition and distribution of restricted mana explosives."

Alice squirmed, cheeks puffing up like a sulky hamster. "It was just one! Explosive, not explosives! I wanted to force that pig to eat it before pressing the button!" she squeaked defensively.

Kaiden ignored the interruption and folded the paper neatly, tapping it once against the table like a gavel. Each tap made the girl flinch as if a judge, no, not 'a judge', but 'the judge' had just decreed her guilty. His gaze bore into her as he spoke in a calm, strict cadence only an older brother could pull off.

"You're not just a brat throwing tantrums anymore, Alice. These aren't the antics of a little sister trying to get attention. These are serious crimes. Crimes that could have gotten thousands killed. And yet…" his eyes narrowed further "… you sit there demanding my affection. Do you really think this is how a younger sister should act?"

Alice's lips trembled, eyes glassy with tears, but her voice came out small and sulky, "Y-Yes… if it's for big brother's attention… then anything is justified…"

Her declaration only made his stare harder. This was the hardest stare the girl had ever had to face, and that said something when she saw the Shadow Monarch every single day.

Alice Ashborn was defeated in a millisecond and instantly shrank further, mumbling a meek little, "S-sorry… I wanted to protect you…"

"Haaah…"
