Demon Legacy

In his thoughts, Kiki considered this training session with the Demon Queen the closest thing to a date. The Demon Queen noticed him distracted and teased, "What are you thinking? Do you want me to punch you?" Startled, Kiki quickly replied, "No!" and ran toward her, attempting a kick. However, she was faster, and her powerful strike sent him reeling. Thanks to his rewind ability, his injuries instantly healed. Curious, the Demon Queen asked, "How did you do that?" Kiki explained, "My power keeps me alive." She replied, "Why?" Kiki admitted, "I don't know."

When the queen became momentarily distracted, Kiki seized the chance to land a kick. She was impressed but also a little irritated and promptly knocked him out cold. The next day, she approached him, feeling guilty. "I'm sorry, Kiki. I didn't mean to hit you so hard," she said, giving him a warm hug. Kiki reassured her, "It's fine. You're helping me grow." Intrigued, she asked, "How?" Kiki explained, "In moments like that, I learn to control my powers better."

The Demon Queen nodded, "I know about your power, but tell me more." Kiki hesitated, then said, "When you knocked me out, my body instinctively tried to stop time in your lungs. I wasn't sure if my full power would be stronger than yours, so I didn't want to risk it." The queen raised an eyebrow, "Perhaps, but I think my raw power could have broken through before it took effect."

Suddenly, a wounded soldier arrived, panting, "They've broken through the yellow zone—they're in the red now." The Demon Queen's eyes widened. "Is it the Demon King?" she asked, and the soldier nodded before collapsing. Kiki urged, "We need to leave!" But the queen replied firmly, "Are you crazy? The red zone means they're near civilization. If we retreat, thousands will die. We have to make a stand."

Rallying her soldiers, she distributed rings and gave an inspiring speech. "Civilization is in danger—your families are in danger. Most of us may not survive, but your loved ones will be safe." Motivated, the soldiers raised their weapons, ready to fight.

The Demon Queen formulated a plan. "Soldiers skilled in demon fire, hide in the trees and wait for my signal. Kiki and I will lead the head-on assault."

As they approached the enemy, the Demon King hurled fire at anything that moved. The queen anticipated this, and they took cover until they reached the ambush point. The Demon King grinned, "Still as beautiful as ever," he taunted. The Demon Queen replied coolly, "Nothing has changed; you're still the same." Kiki watched their exchange, puzzled by the apparent smiles. What he didn't realize was that those smiles masked deep-seated hatred.

The queen shouted, "Now!" and her hidden soldiers unleashed a barrage of fireballs upon the Demon King's forces. Unfazed, the Demon King ordered his troops, "Charge!" The battle erupted into chaos. The queen and king each took down hundreds, locked in a deadly dance of power.

Kiki, fighting alongside the Demon Queen, used his time-manipulation abilities to heal her injuries by rewinding time. The Demon King, noticing this, was momentarily shocked. He responded by launching a massive flame attack in the shape of a lion, and Kiki, alarmed, slowed the flame's advance in a single area, halting its progress while the rest of the battlefield moved at normal speed. This tactic caught the Demon King off guard, and after hours of fierce combat, they pushed his forces back into the green zone.

After the battle, the Demon Queen thanked her soldiers for their bravery. As they made their way back, Kiki suggested, "Let's visit the town tomorrow."
