Demon Lord's Reincarnation

In the soul realm, many allies of Ren's came on his call. The old allies from his past lives had now filled the soul realm with new people.

Even though many friends have gathered, from wives to rivals, the sound of battle in Ren's soul realm was never-ending. Each past incarnation was having fun talking to their long-lost comrades while in battle.

Seeing the scene that was before him made Ren smile, the people from his past life and even in his current life those that were still alive have all gathered here.

Despite knowing that the end was nearing they did not fear it instead they seemed to be excited about it. The smiles on their faces were so bright that it felt like an ordinary family gathering, a gathering of the most powerful mortals to have ever existed.

Ren had already met his wives and his old rival Valdel. This might be the last time he would be able to laugh with them like this, but to an incarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul, this kind of thing was normal.

'Yeah isn't that how I lived my life this whole time? To be able to die at any time with a smile on my face.'

It wasn't just the incarnations of the Strongest Mortal Soul but even those companions of his have been affected by his philosophies. There was not a single person in the soul realm who was afraid of the outcome of nonexistence.

Not a single one of them even hoped of winning, not even the original incarnation thought that they could win this battle. The one that they were about to face was not just the New Gods and the Old Gods that can control the forces of nature itself, but even the Ancient Ones that can rewrite reality itself, then of course there was the one above all the ORIGIN, a being that was literally the creator of all things.

Almost all of the old and new allies of every incarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul had improved greatly there were even some that could face Ancient Ones by themselves, but even then they all felt that there was truly no hope for victory at all.

Ren and the other incarnations continued their training while waiting for more allies to arrive. It was after several years when the movements of the Gods suddenly started changing.

If before the Gods were only attacking those that seemed to be threats now they are indiscriminately destroying everything in sight. There was even one Ancient One that annihilated the universe she was guarding before.

Even after several universes have been annihilated the dragons who were neutral did not make a move. Still, they were not that real problem the real problem was the dragons siding with the Gods.

Even though those dragons were not affected by the madness of the ORIGIN those who believe in power above all else think that what the ORIGIN was doing was correct since the ORIGIN was the strongest.

'So we won't just be dealing with the Gods but even some dragons. Well, those on our side are rather powerful dragons they should be able to win against those losers who believe in one power.'

When the destruction of the universes was growing faster, it meant that the seal that had been placed on the separate reality that the original incarnation trapped the ORIGIN was nearly broken.

The original incarnation knew that this was their last shot, it was finally time to go into the battlefield.

The final battle was upon them and the morale was as usual at the peak, still before they headed to their own respective battlefields the original incarnation had something to say.

"To those of you who have come here to face the end with us, I respect you guys with all my heart. Rivals, friends, family, lovers, children all of you who have journeyed with a reincarnation of myself have continued to move forward. Despite being weaker than most of us you continue to fight, despite being bound by fate you continue to deny your very destiny itself, despite knowing the truth you did not cower and instead looked up and faced it! I truly with all my being have the utmost respect for you all."

The original incarnation the one who stood on top whose power was only rivaled by the ORIGIN itself stood there with his hand on his chest and bowed.

The people who knew that the basis of all the reincarnations' personalities was based on the original incarnation were shocked.

Based on what they knew of the reincarnations that they had seen almost all of the reincarnations of the Strongest Mortal Soul loved battle above all else and had a very high pride. If that core trait of theirs had been inherited from the original incarnation then his bowing right now was truly surprising.

"I wish to thank you all that despite knowing that we will lose choose to fight alongside us. I know all of you know by now that this battle is going to be the last battle all of us will ever have. So make merry, do what you want, say what is in your heart, and leave no regrets behind."

One of the rivals of a reincarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul raised his hand. The original incarnation pointed at the rival asking him to speak.

"Why are you so sure that we will lose? I can't accept such a mindset, it's like how I have always challenged your reincarnation I did not continuously challenge him thinking that I would lose, I always challenged him with victory in mind."

"Then tell me have you ever won?"

"..." That question silenced the rival.

"I understand that some of you don't want to think that we will lose, and hope that we could win, but... I cannot give such false hope, this is truly the end and there is zero chance of victory."

When the original incarnation said those words there was an eerie silence in the soul realm that was always full of sound battle. There were many reactions among those who weren't a reincarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul, but those who were a reincarnation had one reaction that was shown on their faces. Each reincarnation showed a bright, excited, and vicious smile as they had never shown before. Seeing their reactions the original incarnation also smiled a very vicious-looking smile.

"Even then... Even if there is no chance of victory have any of us backed down before?! Surely all of you know that when the chances are nonexistent we the Strongest Mortal Soul will never back down and simply fight until the end, and surely you all know what came from that."

The people present remembered their reincarnation of the Strongest Mortal Soul. It was true when everyone thought that there was no chance of winning they always did something absurd and surpassed what they had expected, they might have died but they have always won.

Thinking about the many legends that the Strongest Mortal Soul and his many reincarnations have accomplished, a spark of hope was now blazing inside all who had doubts before, while those who have never doubted became even more confident.
