Demon Lord's Reincarnation

Many members of the Loder Clan knew a thing or two about potions that enhanced one's strength since that was the second most popular potion after healing potions. In the fight against the Gods, even a little increase in strength was valuable. So there were a lot of them who were focusing on improving the enhancement potion but the improvements were minuscule.

So it was surprising to see how powerful Julius had become after drinking his potion.

Not only did Julius increase his strength but his overall stats had improved greatly, you could even sense his capacity to absorb spiritual energy had improved, and even the quality and quantity of his spiritual energy had increased greatly. This was far ahead of the current enhancement potions that the clan was making.

"Whoah, how did he make that potion?"

"We should ask him after the duel how to create the same potion."

"Do you think he'll teach it to us? Isn't he a b*stard who doesn't care about anyone but himself?"

"Have you been cooped up in your workshop for so long that you don't know anything? Sir Julius is a very kind person he once taught me the basics of alchemy and if you have questions he'll answer. Despite sounding irritated he always answers properly."

"Yeah, Sir Julius is the one who taught many of us the basics of alchemy. As long as he knows the answer to the question he will give an appropriate answer. I'm sure that Sir Julius will gladly teach us as long as we ask nicely."

"Huh, I guess the rumors about him were exaggerated."

While the people watching the fight were gossiping about Julius and were in awe of the potion he made the battle on stage had intensified.

Despite Juius now being stronger and faster than the current Nero, he could not get a hit in. Nero's technique was far superior to Julius which compensated for his strength and speed. After a few more exchanges Nero got some grasp of how wide the difference in technique he and the other party had.

'Tsk, it seems that even with the increase of power I can't match Julius in a direct confrontation. Well no matter, I just need to stick to the things I'm good at.'

Julius took out several daggers from his sub-space. These daggers were specially made by him using alchemy. They were light like a feather to those that are using it but to the enemy, they were as heavy as a mountain. Julius also coated them with a special ingredient that could paralyze even a dragon.

Julius threw the daggers in his hand, the speed of each throw created a sonic boom. Nero evaded each dagger, normally he would not just dodge but catch one and throw it back but he did not do so this time. Julius sensed that there was something wrong with those daggers so it was better not to touch them.

Julius was about to take out another new potion but before he could do so Nero interrupted him.

"It's my turn to attack."

A powerful palm strike came rushing towards Julius who bent his body backward to avoid. Julius was now in an awkward position and Nero was going to continue his attack, but then something grabbed hold of his body.

A smile appeared on Julius's face as he was now holding an empty bottle in his hand. While he evaded Julius took out two items from his sub-space and spilled them on the ground. The two items were seeds and a growth potion.

The seed he used was from a man-eating plant. The man-eating plant used its powerful vines to restrain Nero. Julius knew that this man-eating plant would not last long so using this time he quickly backed away and took out a few more bottles from his sub-space. As Julius predicted Nero was able to destroy the man-eating plant by simply bursting out his aura.

Julius who had gained some distance threw all the bottles he had at hand. Each bottle had different effects once used. One of the bottles created a mist that made it hard to see, another bottle was a poison that spread into the air, this poison was not strong enough to affect Nero with its intended purpose, but the poison had a secondary effect.

Even if you are not affected by the poisonous effects the poison in the air would also make those who breathe it in hallucinate.

Using this time while Nero was trying to remove the effects of mist and the poison, Julius started scribbling something on the ground while chanting some spell words. The scribbles Julius wrote started shining and several gigantic golems made of stone and clay appeared before Julius.

"Go and attack Nero."

Now that Nero was busy with multiple things, Julius started drawing a magic circle on the ground while speaking spell words. Julius who did not have enough spiritual energy, mana, and Origin energy to complete the spell started drinking different kinds of potions that restored his power.

Nero who was dealing with several gigantic stone golems felt the massive amount of energy coming from Julius's side.

"I don't have time to play with you guys anymore!" Nero roared as he punched and kicked the gigantic golems into dust. Once he was done dealing with the golems Nero dashed towards Julius.

"Sorry, it's too late preparations are complete. This is the strongest move I can use at the moment. Come and see if you can take it!"

The ground began to tremble and the magic circle Julius drew glowed brightly. A magic circle appeared underneath Nero's feet restraining him, after which several magic circles appeared surrounding Nero and in that moment a blinding light enveloped Nero.

The power of this attack affected not only Nero but those watching as well. The defensive spells that surrounded the arena were cracking from the power of that one spell. Ren injected his power into the barrier thus strengthening it.

The blinding light continued to expand and no one except for Ren knew what was happening to Nero who was taking the full brunt of the attack.
