Demon Lord's Reincarnation

When the people from the Loder Clan heard that clapping sound that oddly echoed in the room, they looked at the direction it was coming from. Mythious was frowning deeply as he looked at the person who was clapping.

This was someone he had never seen before and even now he was looking right at him the unknown person's presence could not be felt. Mythious was even using his mana to probe the other party but he could not detect anything.

"Who are you?" Nero asked while unsheathing his sword, the other elders also took out their weapons ready for battle.

"Heh, how should I answer that I wonder."

Despite being surrounded by rather powerful individuals and even having numerous weapons pointed at him the man did not seem to be bothered by all of that. After a few seconds of seemingly deep thought the man spoke.

"Hmm, I think I don't want to tell you guys who I am just yet."

"Are you perhaps a God?"

The very second Mythious asked that question, the atmosphere became extremely tense as everyone suddenly became quiet their focus on the unknown man had heightened.

Hearing the question and seeing the reaction of the people around him, the unknown man suddenly chuckled and then spoke in a teasing tone.

"What if I said I was, what would you do?"

"Either you're a crazy person saying that here, or you're really a powerful God," Mythious spoke while already readying a spell.

The unknown man started walking forward which made everyone feel a jolt. It was at that moment they felt a suffocating killing intent.

"So then what are you going to do about it?"

The voice of the man was as before but to some of them present the unknown man's voice sounded like that of a monster. Mythious finally finished preparing his spell and took the initiative to attack.

Chains of different colors appeared and ensnared the unknown man. This was a spell that could trap even an Old God for a few seconds.

"So are you willing to talk to us properly now?"

"Huh, do you think these chains can hold me?" The unknown man did not move but the chains binding him started cracking.

Seeing the situation the members of the Loder Clan finally decisively made a move and attacked the unknown man. Since the other party did not want to identify himself and was obviously hostile to them, then the time for talk was over.

The Loder Clan, used spears, guns, arrows, daggers, swords, magic, fists, and other things to attack the unknown person, but to everyone's surprise, they all missed. The unknown man evaded each strike while bound by the spell, and he did it by slightly moving his body a little, his one free arm caught a few weapons and redirected them making it hit the other weapons.

"You guys don't know how to fight in groups. Also aside from that guy who used this restraining spell on me, all of your attacks sucked. Allow me to show you what a true attack looks like."

The unknown man who had broken free from the restraints placed upon him picked up a sword. The very second he held the sword in his hand, Mythious, and Reiner made a move.

Mythious used every defensive spell he could cast at the moment surrounding himself and the others, while Reiner took out the strongest shield he had ever created from his personal sub-space, and stood in front of the others protecting them.

Nero and the other elders were also quick to act and used every defense technique they could use. It was at that moment the unknown man casually swung the sword in his hand.

That casual sword slash instantly destroyed all of the defensive spells Mythious cast, and the shield in Reiner's hand was nearly broken as he and all the others were blown away a few meters. The unknown man looked surprised by what happened.

"Well, that's amazing I was aiming to break that shield but it actually survived my attack."

Everyone who was blown away started coughing out blood. Mythious used a healing spell on everyone and then stared at the unknown man in confusion. Despite him not using his strongest defensive spells because of the time, the ease at which the unknown man destroyed what he set up was surprising.

Still, after all that even now Mythious could not sense a hint of divinity from the unknown man.

"Really, just who are you?"

"I guess I already had my fun. Instead of answering you with words how about I show you who I am."

"What do you mean, how are you going to do that?" Mythious asked even more confused by the actions of the other party, it was at that moment he felt a very powerful divine presence, a presence that can only be emitted by an Old God.

"Damn it! I made a mistake!" Mythious and the others ran out of the building and looked at the darkening sky. Above them was a gigantic figure that was bigger than the entire planet they were hiding in. This was an Old God and a more powerful one than what they had encountered before.

"I finally found you, b*stard children of that monster. Unlike that monster, you guys hide like rats, I would have loved to play with you, but unfortunately, our father has ordered the annihilation of everybody related to the monster."

The Old God had given them the death sentence and quickly initiated an attack, but Mythious was faster and got the first hit stopping the Old God from making a move.

"It is now our time to show these so-called Gods that we are worthy of being our Ancestor's kin! Towards our glorious death and eternal glory!"

Nero shouted raising the morale of the others. The Loder Clan was now ready to die while at least bringing down the Old God before them. As everyone was getting excited a calm voice was heard by everyone present.

"No need to be so dramatic, it's just an Old God allow me to take care of it."

Mythious who was going all out momentarily looked at the unknown man and saw that the other party was smiling a vicious smile while emitting a presence like no other. It was then Mythious understood who the person was, and couldn't help but laugh while tears flowed down his face.
