The next day the crowd was even bigger and it made Mark think that it was a mistake to think that the customers would calm down in a few days. Based on what he could see, the excitement in the air would keep growing and he didn’t know when it would reach its peak and what would happen when it did.
Hamil would just probably use it to hold the Star Wars Convention so the citizens of Melona or even Narcone would spend more coins on the circus. After breakfast, he asked Lisa or Norleen to look after the kids.
“Are you going to your magic place to study?” Aaron asked.
“Yes. So behave yourselves, okay?” Mark told the kids, and all three of them, the twins and Liriel, copying her brothers nodded.
The children went out of the RV followed by Norleen. Mark then went to his bedroom, changed his clothes to a t-shirt and jeans, and cast his Warp Gate spell on the RV’s wall. When the Warp Gate appeared, he accessed the control panel and it showed two connections which were Narcone and Melona and of course, Melona was grayed out.
Mark contemplated for a few minutes what he was about to do which was establish a Warp Gate in the small forest behind the last house he lived in on Earth. He gave the house to Sam, Armina, and Enleed.
He was hoping that they were still living there since Mark hadn’t been away long. Not even a year. It felt like a lifetime ago. The adventures that he had ever since he received his system were truly the best thing that had come into his life. It allowed him to become powerful and travel to a different magical world and live in that world surrounded by friends and family living a comfortable life.
Mark remembered his apprehension before he was transferred to a different world that his life would be filled with battle and blood, like those Korean web novels but instead, it was filled with comfort and love. Now he wanted to introduce his life to his friends from Earth and he was hoping that they would join him in his adventures.
The Warp Gate in the small forest behind his house on Earth was established but he was the only one who could see it in the control panel. Mark checked the time and it was around nine in the morning. He remembered when he was transferred before, the time was exactly the same as from where he was from and he didn’t understand how it worked. He checked his appearance one last time to make sure that he didn’t look like a fantasy cosplayer and looking at his t-shirt and jeans, he looked like your typical youth in the city so he activated the portal and opened it. In the control panel, two connections appeared which were the RV and the other one simply said Earth but he was the only one who could see those.
Mark arrived on Earth after a few months and breathed the polluted air of California once again. He saw the house in the distance so he went there and knocked on the door. He saw an eye staring out from the peephole and the door was aggressively opened.
Sam was staring at him for a few seconds that Mark’s best friend ran to him and hugged him fiercely.
“I missed you so much, man! I thought we’d never see you again!” Sam said.
Suddenly Sam shouted.
“Guys! All of you come here! Someone’s special is here!”
Four people arrived and when Armina, Enleed, and Melissa saw him, they all wore shocked faces and ran to him and gave him a very fierce group hug. Armina and Enleed were even crying. There was a man there behind Melissa, a blonde, blue-eyed handsome man that you would find in a romantic comedy movie, and based on his body language, he could be Melissa’s boyfriend.
“Hello, who are you?” Mark asked the handsome jock after the group hug was done.
“I’m Blake,” The jock said. Even his name was your typical jock.
“He’s my fiancé,” Sam said.
Mark was shocked. He thought that the guy was Melissa’s boyfriend and it turned out he was his best friend’s boyfriend.
“You’re fiancé! You’re gay?! Why didn’t you tell me?” Mark asked Sam.
“We’ll talk later about that. Come inside let’s talk.”
They all went to the living room and sat down on the chairs there. Mark waited for Blake to leave but the man stayed.
He looked at the others questioningly and when they saw his expression, they realized why he was silent.
“Oh sorry, Mark. Blake knows everything. During the months you were away, he became part of the group and despite how he looked, he’s the biggest nerd of us all and a certified otaku,” Sam said.
“I thought we’d never see you again!?” Armina said.
“Yeah! All the drama that we did before you left was because of that,” Enleed added.
“Well, I thought it would be the case. Do you know all the isekai worlds that we’ve read and seen in anime? Like the last one I’ve seen, the Frieren anime? The world that I’ve arrived into was exactly like that,” Mark said.
“Like sexy beastmen and elves and magic and dungeons?” It was Sam’s fiancé Blake who asked looking extremely excited.
Mark stared at the man and continued with his sharing of what happened to him.
“Yes, just like that and I stumbled into a circus and joined it and have been living within it for the last few months travelling into different cities and places. I also battled with powerful monsters like ancient beholders and emperor liches and entered unfamiliar dungeons. But what gave me hope about the possibility of being able to return to Earth was in some of the cities, there were very powerful archmages and I was hoping that some of them would be experts in dimension travel. But before I asked anyone, I learned a gate spell that allowed me to create a Warp Gate that allowed me to travel long distances to places I’ve been to when the spell was learned but when I completed my system dungeon, it rewarded me by allowing me to establish a gate to anywhere I’d been in the multiverse and that meant I was now able to travel to Earth from that planet anytime I wanted.”
“Are you planning on returning here to live?” Sam asked.
“No. That planet is my home now and I’m very happy there. The circus accepted me and the fact that we’re traveling everywhere having adventures is making me tremendously happy. I’ve even adopted three cute kids, a pair of boy twins and a cute little girl, and considered them family. I told them to treat me as their elder brother but to be honest, they’re like my children and I love them so. I only returned here so I can invite you all to join. You can become powerful adventurers there since you will have access to your own system panel and choose a job once you touch a dungeon entrance. You don’t even have to live there if you don’t want to since you can return to Earth anytime as long as I’m with you,” Mark said.
Everyone gasped when they heard what Mark had said and suddenly Sam stood up.
“What are we waiting for?! Let’s go now!”
Melissa slapped Sam on the back of his head.
“Idiot. We need to plan first. Even if you’re all working from home, you will need to give a reason why you will be gone for however long you want to adventure in that world if you want to maintain your life here,” Melissa said.
“Can we do that?” Armina seriously asked Mark.
“Of course! Besides, I want to maintain my connection in this world as well since I want to update all my animes, novels, and movies and check out all new technology that came out,” Mark said.
