Death Mage with an SS-Rank Talent

Chapter 310

Yes, Aaron has prepared for almost every possible scenario to deal with any intruders that could cost him the two dungeons.

Luckily, there was no such scenario and won't be anymore.

Today, he decided to take away the dungeon cores, if that was possible. He didn't know the procedure for cores that were intertwined with each other. He wasn't sure whether the same procedure would work.

There was no other choice for him. So, he proceeded with the standard procedure. If that doesn't work, he might have to find another way, one that few or no one knows, and he has to create one.

"Let's hope that the standard procedure works", he prayed internally.

If it doesn't, then he could only leave them here for now and hope to find a way to transfer them in the future, and that too, if no one finds a way to find them and break his connection to them.

There are too many things that he is unaware of.

Until a few days ago, he believed that dungeons shouldn't be near each other, but that idea was shattered when he saw the two naturally formed dungeons near each other, and they were influencing each other positively.

From what he learned, dungeons placed near each other would have a negative influence, and sometimes they could even blow up. So, a certain distance was always maintained between them.

Here, instead of having adverse effects, the loot rate was also increased. It was one of the reasons why he decided to wait before taking away the dungeons from their birthplace.

He has no idea if they could be placed near each other and whether the loot rate would be as it was before or it would return to the standard rate.

Since what he knew was proved to be not always true, he didn't know what the outcome would be.

For that reason, and as he didn't have access to a private open space where he could transfer the dungeons, Aaron let the dungeons be as they were.

Every day, he would come and dive into the dungeons and collect the drop, while at noon, he would return to the patrol duty.

First, he made sure that he had enough of these resources to improve his parents' skills. Four skills were improved to Bronze Rank-1, while every other skill was increased to Rank-9.

He had enough resources to increase another to Bronze Rank-1 and complete the condition to improve their grade, but he felt that they would get lower rewards by doing so. So, one of the skills had to be slowly improved by levelling up faster and using only Skill Point Stones.

Though it may take a long time, the SPs can be used to improve, regardless of rank. Even though the Skill Rank stones were no longer helpful for his parents, his girls were still having difficulty improving their skill ranks.

As long as he can help them improve their skills, their levels would automatically progress faster than before.

In addition to that, he decided to collect a few more in case he wanted some resources, and he could exchange them for these resources.

Lyanna told him that, at higher ranks, professionals usually exchange resources for other resources or favours. The Credits were for a larger population, while barter is better suited for a smaller population.

The items you barter would entirely depend on you and the other person involved in the transaction. However, they wouldn't accept credits, as at those ranks, the resources required would cost a lot of credits, as they are hard currency that can be used in another form.

Even on Earth, currency is pegged against gold, because gold can be turned into many things. It is a hard currency.

At higher ranks, as they can't make use of those credits, they would just sit there in the account and would be of minimal use. So, barter is the trading path at higher ranks.

So, Aaron decided to keep some of these skill points and rank stones, which he can barter for other resources when he spots one.

Even if he doesn't, in the future, when he has children, they can use these resources. After collecting what he thought to be sufficient, he decided to collect the cores, especially as his parents found a better house with a large open area, where he could relocate these dungeons to.

It was actually in the Northern Part of the city, an old estate that was unoccupied for a long time, which was why it came cheaper than other estates in the city.

The property has an old mansion, a small pond, and a lot of open space filled with overgrown grass and trees.

Compared to the prices of other estates, it was cheap. So, they bought the property, spending most of their earned money, both Aaron's and his parents' money. Though their pockets are lighter, they understood that to build something that lasts, they had to spend.

Aaron has already told them about the dungeons he had under his control. As long as they are relocated here, Aaron can improve his level further; also, the twin dungeons are a source of wealth. If Aaron finds any more, he can take them using the Dungeon Crystals, instead of waiting for a new set to buy.

Sure, these sets would break after a certain number of uses, but no one can guarantee how many uses. With three in his hands, neither Aaron nor his parents were thinking that he could find many, but whatever he found, they should stay secret.

Though Jay didn't do anything, there is no guarantee that he might not slip up and disclose the information in the future. Also, those dungeons in the wild, staying there too long, is not a good choice.

Others can find them. Even if they can't take them away, they can once they eliminate the owner. Unnecessary fights can lead to even more fights later on.

So, the sooner the transfer of the dungeons is done, the better, and that is what he was going to do now, hopefully.
