DC: Rise of the Kryptonian Tyrant

Chapter 437: Angels’ Plan

Heaven was deathly silent. No one spoke.

From within Hell, the fury occasionally swelling was so intense it felt like it would explode outward, like a blowfish ready to burst.

No god believed that all of Hell combined could be a match for the Origin.

The destruction of Hell was only a matter of time.

And what followed was the end message, already ignited by the presence of the Origin.

This time, it was Heaven itself facing the end message.

Many of Heaven's angels wore grim expressions.

In the past, at the close of every era, Heaven had always acted as judge, establishing order from above and watching the shifts within the Divine Realm until everything came to a conclusion.

It was about entering the battlefield from the beginning, to struggle for survival.

Of course, it wasn't because Heaven lacked strength. On the contrary, Heaven's combat power was the strongest.

Not to say they feared the danger, though it was indeed perilous. It was precisely because of this crisis that many of the unique first-stage gods willingly entered Heaven, seeking to avoid the calamity of this era's end and transition.

Heaven bore the glory of the Lord. It was the noblest and most dignified existence. What it sought was majesty and order over the four corners of creation, to herald the beginning of a new era.

It was the maker of the order of time, not the source of chaos.

In the Second Heaven, Raphael, with his serene presence and the power to heal all blasphemy and defiance, wielded the Tree of Life. He radiated divine brilliance as he attempted to repair the cursed, fractured corner of the Divine Realm.

Dark curses lingered in the air of that corner, writhing like living creatures, corrupting Heaven's divine light.

But the angels' expressions changed drastically. The Tree of Life, which could heal all things, could not heal this corrupted area of Heaven.

The angels acted one after another, but the curse clung like bone-deep rot. It could not be removed. They could only seal it, to prevent the dark curse from spreading and contaminating Heaven.

Through all of this, the angels deeply realized the danger brought by the Origin. Just the curse born from his fury was already near-impossible to handle.

Many angels gathered in the Seventh Heaven to confront the consequences of the Great Craftsman's actions.

"Architect, we need an explanation. What is it that you want to do?" Michael asked solemnly.

Architect was perhaps appointed by the Lord Himself, created to shape all things and imbue them with form and essence.

But they were the sons of the Lord.

Angels had never held the Great Craftsman in high regard.

To them, he was nothing but a tool.

And when does a tool get to make its own decisions and act on its own?

In the Seventh Heaven, bathed in holy light, Gabriel, Raphael, Uriel, Sariel, and many first-stage angels gathered to confront the Great Craftsman.

His azure-blue divine form shimmered with radiant light. He ignored the angels entirely, closed his eyes, and sat in silent slumber.

The emotional angels could not understand his detached silence.

The Architect's indifference ignited the angels' fury.

"Outrageous!"

"Sinner!"

"You shattered the peace of the Divine Realm!"

"You must face judgment!"

"Imprison him!"

"Enough. Everyone, be silent. For now, our priority is not blaming the Architect. We must face the Origin, who will soon emerge from Hell. Time is running out. Hell won't hold him for long. I don't believe Lucifer has the power to suppress the Origin."

As voices of condemnation echoed, Gabriel's face shone with calm light, his eyes flashing with wisdom.

The angels' anger halted, replaced by regret, as they began to discuss how to resolve the threat of the Origin.

This era was not yet meant to end. If the early opening and conclusion of this age was a result of Heaven's actions, it would be a grave sin against the Lord, leaving them ashamed to face Him.

With this guilt in mind, they glared angrily once more at the Architect before offering their suggestions.

"Can we seal him in Hell permanently?"

"No. The Wall of Origin was already the strongest seal. If he can walk out of that, there is no other seal that can contain him."

"Then we fight, all of us."

"Heaven has long possessed more than thirty first-stage One Gods. Perhaps our strength cannot match the Origin's, but in the face of his destruction of the Divine Realm, we can only wield the Holy Spear and protect the domain dedicated to the gods."

"Correct!"

"Heaven fears nothing!"

"…."

Michael, the leader of Heaven's forces, raised his aura as his warlike spirit surged. If they could not surpass him, then they would fight him with all their might.

"No. Even if we win, Heaven will suffer irreparable loss."

"Even in victory, if we are the ones who brought about the end of this era, we would be disgracing the glory of the Lord."

Hearing the consequences of victory, they faltered. The angels fell silent.

Besides, in truth, they could not win. They couldn't defeat the Origin, not now, not until the end of this era. This truth was simply something that the proud angels subconsciously refused to admit.

For countless years and eras, they had grown accustomed to ruling from Heaven, developing a pride that let them look down on all others. Apart from the Lord, they acknowledged no god as worthy of standing equal.

Still, if the message of the end had been initiated, they had to fight. Otherwise, the majesty and honor of Heaven would be lost.

That cursed corner of Heaven seemed to mock their incompetence. Many proud angels could not bear such humiliation.

"Then… let it begin with Heaven, and end with Heaven."

Some angels insisted that they must still fight, gaining approval from others who were equally proud and confident.

"This is a catastrophe for the Divine Realm. The evil Origin will surely destroy it. We must lead the entire realm in sealing him away."

A new plan emerged among the angels, and they unanimously agreed.

"Yes, this is a disaster for the Divine Realm. We must lead the gods through this era's end."

"Each of us shall call upon the powers of the realm of the gods to bring this age to its conclusion."

"They should consider it an honor to fight alongside us."

The angels formulated a grand salvation plan for the Divine Realm. They formed a unified front to lead the One Gods' forces.

This move, never seen in previous eras, inspired them to believe that this transitional age, under their leadership, would become even more brilliant and powerful.

In the minds of the angels—

Heaven equals the Divine Realm.

It never occurred to them that the Divine Realm does not equal Heaven.

After finalizing their plans, the angels left a final message in the Seventh Heaven.

"Architect, prepare yourself. You will pay for what you've done."

Then, all the powerful angels transformed into beams of light, radiating outward in all directions, traveling to the various domains of the gods to bestow Heaven's glory upon them and lead them through the catastrophe of this Divine Era.
