Date a Witch: Reborn as the Witch of Lust! (GL)

Chapter 159: 'Touched' in front of Calina...

The marblestone wall seemed to close in as Mel struggled to walk; her waist was now wrapped by an arm.

She gulped down a nervous pant; Maria's hot breath tickled the side of her neck.

Pursing her lips, she opened the door.

Thus, the Swordmaster was revealed; her robes were replaced by the usual academy uniform, with her usual ornamental sword dangling at the waist.

Yet a small bandage stuck to her cheek and wrapped around her leg; remnants of wounds left with her 'spar' with Wrath.

"Calina?"

With a worried frown, Mel asked. "Are you okay?"

Calina's brows raised, surprised.

"That's..."

Shaken by her words, the Swordmaster blushed before coughing twice to calm herself.

"Thanks," Calina said, hanging her head with a conflicted expression. "You might be the first not to taunt or lecture me about the wounds."

"Calina..."

Mel's look softened, then immediately melted when-

"Hic-"

She folded a hand over her lips, cheeks heating up as she shot a 'whiny' glance beside her.

Her partner, her chin leaning on Mel's bare shoulder, just blew hot air into her neck.

"What's wrong?"

Sensing a disturbance, Calina gazed confusedly beside Mel.

Nothing there, yet her intuition told otherwise, almost breaking through the Saintess's Illusion that utilized <Light> manipulation.

Mel took a deep breath, praying that the protagonist's intuition wouldn't suddenly sharpen.

"It's nothing..."

With Maria's hand sliding up on her waist, Mel wriggled as she held back a gasp.

"Just that I suddenly realised it has been a week since I attended school, it's all!"

Mel's face beamed with cheerfulness, but Calina only raised a suspicious brow at her blush.

"Sure." The Swordmaster nodded. "Anyways, I've a message from the Student Council."

"Student Council?" Mel tilted her head. "What's wrong?"

"Just a request to meet, the President asked."

Calina shrugged and began to turn around. "That's all from me. I'll go now."

"Mm..."

Mel's face fell; a flicker of disappointment crossed her face as she muttered. "Alright..."

"What...?"

To Mel's dismay—and secret celebration—Calina's intuition sharpened as she frowned and shifted back, her gaze locking with Mel's.

With her usual flat voice, Calina asked. "You've been acting weird so far. Do you need some help?"

"I..."

Mel shook her head. "No need...."

Her voice trailed off as Maria raised her head over Mel's ear.

"Really?" Calina tapped her chin, contemplating. "You can't be having a sickness, can you?"

She paused a little before frowning. "What have you gone for this week?"

"I..."

As Maria's teeth nibbled on her earlobe, Mel's voice trailed off as she bit back a yelp.

"I just look sick because I'm too happy seeing you, Calina..."

"...yeah." Calina squinted. "I don't buy it."

"Heh- heh heh..."

Panting out a chuckle, Mel felt her legs squirm a little as Maria's tongue moved into her ear.

"Hm." Calina once again glanced beside Mel, then back at her. "For now, want me to carry you to the infirmary?"

"No... need..."

Her thighs clenched together, skirt folding as she gathered all her strength and will for the response.

Maria's other hand intruded between her thighs, its fingers dancing before prying them open with a firm but gentle strength.

"It's just that I'm a little tired. That's all..."

Calina froze at Mel's whisper; her eyes flicking at a particular spot.

Was it her illusion? Or was Mel's skirt oddly dented? As if a hand was placed over it?

In disbelief, Calina scratched her cheek awkwardly; her deadpan gaze now shifting aside.

"I see..."

For some reason, the Swordmaster was unwilling to find the answer.

Worse, a flame was doused from within as she scanned Mel again.

Though subtle, Mel's figure constantly 'squirmed'; her cheeks now tomato red with her begging eyes bordering tears, as if not to ask for her current predicament.

And now, something briefly tugged the strap of Mel's summer dress aside before a dent appeared again on her chest.

"Hic..."

Calina gulped as Mel closed her eyes; the pitiful innocence was now stained by something she couldn't perceive.

A flaring protectiveness stirred within her heart as her hand gripped into a fist.

And yet, Calina feared asking 'what bothered Mel' would awaken something strange within her, so naturally-

She turned on her heels and strode away. "See you next time in the lecture."

As the back of Calina disappeared from Mel's sight, followed by a click on the door, Mel moaned as she felt a squeeze again.

The Saintess smiled before drawing her palm back from inside Mel.

She leaned further in, her chest burrowing into the crook of Mel's arm before whispering into her ear.

"Calina wouldn't forget this sight for the rest of the following days."

Mel's eyes widened, embarrassment flooding her senses as tears of humiliation rolled down her cheek.

"Favourability shall increase from thirteen to seventeen."

"Partner..."

Mel pouted as Maria chuckled and swiped the tears off.

"What's wrong?"

"You know..."

Quickly shutting the door and recasting the <Silence> spell, Mel leaned onto it, her body finally free from Maria's teasing.

"Meanie," Mel grumbled, glancing away. "Dummy Maria... Perverted Maria..."

"Oh? Playing rebellious now, aren't we?"

Maria cupped Mel's cheek before tilting her head to face a look of complaint.

Her eyes smiled. "How about we do this some other time? You were having fun as well."

"That's..."

Mel's fingers fidgeted against each other, hesitant. "I... I...well, I'm actually not sure this time."

"Mel."

Sighing, Maria slid her finger over Mel's cheek before hooking her ear; a gesture of tender dominance.

"You're the Witch of Lust, are you not? Then no one would blame you for acting as such."

"Mm. Well, don't get me wrong!"

With a heavy nod, Mel raised her head in defiance. "I enjoyed it, but I don't want to make others uncomfortable all the time!"

That's a complete lie; she had no problems doing it, but Mel was afraid she would be addicted to it!

"Ah, but what about the Witchhunter then?"

"Oh. Then I guess it's fine."

Mel's brows furrowed together; forget her worry then! She had no shame in venting her (unjustified) rage to the would-be killer of her lover!

That was once again a lie; Mel's eyes slightly watered at the prospect of involving the still innocent Calina into her play.

Hm, maybe she was not the good girl she thought - though, she was never one to begin with.

Maria only held back a laugh at Mel's contemplative look; as expected, Mel was perpetually torn between her love for others and her own lust.

"Sure then."

Maria's smile bloomed cheerfully. As expected, Mel and Calina never got along properly.

"Let's go to the Student Council Room now."

"Eh?" Mel's defiant look fell. "You're going too?"

"Of course."

Maria winked at Mel; her index finger tapping her lips, which curved into a mischievous grin.

"I've our little... agreement that we've discussed."
