[Chapter Size: 1657 Words.]
Lucius POV
Dungeon, Twelfth Floor.

[- Lightning Weapon!]
*zzzzzzz*
The sound of the thin lightning running around my katana was like small birds, but nothing compared to a complete Chidori. I cast my support spells and began to run towards my opponents ahead.
[- STRENGTH BOOST SPELL!] A blue light shone around my body.
[- SPEED BOOST SPELL!] A green light also shone.

Killing all the Orcs I encountered on this floor, I couldn't help but be proud of my results. What I had great difficulty with two weeks ago had become something so simple to fight now. First, my stat points were great, bordering on level 2, so I had the ability to face any group of monsters on these floors now, even though I hadn't tested myself on the fourteenth and beyond yet.
This was an activity that lasted for the past few days to accumulate points, and I managed to achieve my goal. I had finally reached my 100,000 points, wasted no time, and bought the healing spell and read it on the floor where I was finding a corner to read the grimoire.
[Healing Spell/Minor Healing/Rank 2: 100,000]
As soon as I felt the new magical ability after reading the book, I began to test it with a small cut I made on my arm with a knife I had. When I enchanted it, a yellow light enveloped me, and in 10 seconds, there was no scar where the cut had been. It's not effective in a fight if I injure myself seriously, but I can last longer, and I can fight while healing myself with minor injuries. This leaves me with a huge advantage; if I complete my mission for this spell, I can basically have real-time healing, no matter the situation.
Seeing my new conditions, I decided to go to the lower floors. Fighting against all the monsters I encountered the last time I reached the thirteenth floor, not surprisingly, I passed more smoothly than last time. I already have S-rank in my physical skills, unlike last time, in addition to having my physical power much stronger, I have Minor Healing, which heals me every time I get some cuts or bruises from the monsters, no longer needing potions to continue.
"Let's go to the fourteenth now and then enter the deeper ones from there," I said, and Riekling followed me. A while later, I finally entered the fifteenth floor, the only difference from the last one being that there was one more monster, which was the famous minotaur; the others I had already faced on the last floor. I began to face them easily, cutting and defending directly, it was easy with my statistics, and I still had the advantage of the 10% boost.
[- Lightning Spell, Lightning Weapon!] I shouted;
Said my spell as the lightning ended, and I jumped on top of 3 minotaurs I was facing.

I continued at this pace until I killed the last one.
"HEHE" I laughed, seeing my results.
It gets better over time; fighting as a mage is cool, but as a swordsman, it doesn't lose in excitement as you cut down all the enemies, and I dare say it's more fun.
"Heeeeee!" Suddenly said Riekling beside me, interrupting my thoughts.
"What?" I asked suspiciously.
"Heeee." Riekling said again, pointing his finger at one of the tunnels.
"Are you sure?" I asked.
"HEE!"
I understood what he was saying and focused on that side. Riekling had better hearing than me; I noticed far away after focusing in that direction, a sound of someone desperately asking for help; my goblin was right.
"Okay, let's help; I'll clear the monsters, and you follow right behind, got it?" I said.
"Heee!" He confirmed.
Even if he died with some monster catching him from behind, I could re-summon him, but I can't take too long, as everything disappears from the backpack if I take more than 2 minutes to re-summon him. I tested it because it would be like a kind of spatial storage, but I found out that things disappear if he's absent for more than that time. Of course, he also hates dying, but we needed to help this person who was asking for help.
I ran in the direction of the distress call, killing many monsters along the way, using magic this time, clearing the entire corridor. I reached a larger room made of dungeon stones; there, I found 5 minotaurs trying to get into a hole in the dungeon walls. Clearly, there was an adventurer trying to hide from these monsters while they tried to kill the poor guy trapped.
[- STRENGTH BOOST SPELL!] A blue light shone around my body.
[- SPEED BOOST SPELL!] A green light also shone.
[- LIGHTNING SPELL, LIGHTNING WEAPON!] An aura of thin lightning appeared on the sword.
I jumped behind the group and beheaded the first one, and before they reacted, I killed another 2. After that, I just continued to dodge and cut the limbs of the last two to finish, concluding this fight very quickly.

Eliminating the last minotaur, I advanced to the hole where there was a tearful voice.
"Hello? Is everything okay now... I've eliminated all the minotaurs," I said, alerting the person who was scared there, in that hole.
A while later, she started coming out, still quite cautious; it must have been traumatic seeing how they cornered her. I wonder what happened for her to stay here alone; did her companions die?
"Thank you..." said a figure that slowly appeared in front of me as she got up; it was a dark-haired human.
"No problem, but can you tell me what happened to you?" I asked curiously.
"The girls from my family and I are still at the beginning of level 02, but due to our recklessness, we thought we could face the intermediates. We were cornered by several minotaurs while they ran; I stayed and hid here in this hole, thought I was going to die!" She said embarrassed but started crying.
"Then thank you, thank you for saving my life!" She suddenly threw herself into me with a tearful hug; she didn't seem to want to let go.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She kept repeating.
"If you want to thank someone, thank this goblin here." I took her out of my arms and pointed to the little green backpacker, who had arrived in the room without problems.
"Heeeeee," said Riekling when he came to my side, making the girl enchanted with this creature, murmuring "cute."
"Let's go to the twelfth floor; someone can help you get back to the surface from there." I said with a bit of regret, as I had to go to the seventeenth floor, but I wouldn't let this girl die here like this.
Returning to the upper floors, she became calmer, and we introduced ourselves. She belonged to the Aphrodite family, a blonde goddess with green eyes. She and Hestia tease each other all the time, just like my goddess does with Loki, but in a different way.
Seeing me clearing out groups of monsters on our way, she also asked me about the spells I was casting since she was a mage and had never seen a mage use spells on their weapons and body-enhancement spells just to fight in battles. Even more so, one using a mage cloak like mine; since I didn't wear armor other than the cloth of the cloak, I hadn't had my leather armor for a long time.
She didn't believe when I said I was level 01. According to her, even with 4 level two adventurers in her team, they couldn't walk as carefree on these floors as I am doing now. For me, it was quite easy as I faced all the monsters on these floors; I still had long-distance spells in case of an emergency, but I kept fighting only with my sword.
Finally, we reached the twelfth floor. I was fortunate to find and ask some adventurers from a trusted family to take her along with the group to the surface. She can handle herself being a level two mage, but she is still scared due to the event with the minotaurs, and her hand still trembles without being able to concentrate. She didn't leave before saying that she would repay someday for my help and for her goddess's help too, but she said there's nothing to owe.
As soon as I said goodbye, I returned as quickly as I could to the fifteenth, heading to the sixteenth now. Finding nothing new on this floor, I continued slicing everything I found and healing from injuries when I received any. Some time later, I was on the seventeenth floor! I killed monsters until I reached where I wanted, in the huge boss room. However, I found nothing in this place... it was frustrating. I spent 4 hours wandering on the floor and killing everything to pass the time until Goliath appeared, but the boss didn't respawn for me to complete my mission.
Then, I remembered that the big monster would respawn when Bell comes to this floor with Welf and Lili on his back. This will happen after the Loki family returns from the deep floors to restock in the city one floor below this. I had no choice but to go to Rivira since returning to the surface and coming back here would just be a waste of time, and it wouldn't take long for the Loki family to show up. I know our relationship is quite complicated, so I intend to keep to myself while I'm here without them needing to save Bell and the others.
