Chapter440-The Three Women Entangled with Owen's Fate
Owen felt a certain sense of guilt towards these three women.
After entering the next era, Owen had also been searching for their whereabouts.
After all, he had previously learned from Raina that they had left Middle Earth and gone to the Emerald Dreamscape.
However, after Owen occupied the Emerald Dreamscape, there was no trace of them!
He even had the people of Academy City investigate specifically, but no information ever surfaced.
He never expected that they were at the bottom of the Abyss!
"Owen, are they your friends?"
Rachel asked curiously at this moment.
Owen's lips twitched slightly.
His relationship with these three women was extremely complicated!
He originally had a decent relationship with Princess Marry.
Princess Marry had always secretly admired him, which was practically an open secret. However, the Azure Kingdom was later destroyed and occupied by him and Leslie. After that, his relationship with Princess Marry became strained.
As for Raina and Lana, their circumstances were even more unique.
So, if he were to simply call them "friends," it wouldn't fully capture the situation.
Their feelings toward him were also incredibly complex…
This left Owen unsure of how to face them, making him feel both awkward and uneasy.
At this moment, Raina and the other two looked sharply at Rachel after hearing her speak.
Relying on their natural instincts as women, they could immediately tell that the woman who had just spoken had an extraordinary relationship with Owen!
Not wanting to dwell on the topic, Owen shifted his attention to the three women and asked,
"Why are you here?"
This place wasn't the Emerald Dreamscape, nor was it a spot for vacation or leisure. It was filled with countless dangers, a place even Throne Celestial Gods would fear to tread.
Raina sized up Owen, feeling that his power had now reached an unfathomable level, making him completely incomprehensible to her.
She sighed deeply, suppressed her chaotic emotions, and slowly said,
"We were cultivating in the Emerald Dreamscape, but after entering some ruins, we accidentally triggered an ancient formation inside. When we regained consciousness, we were already here."
Owen nodded.
It made sense.
Clearly, they hadn't come here voluntarily. Otherwise, with their strength, they would have perished long before reaching the bottom of the Abyss.
However, the fact that there was an ancient formation in the Emerald Dreamscape connecting to this place piqued Owen's interest!
At this moment, Raina bit her lip and asked,
"And you? How did you get here?" Stay tuned with empire
Owen looked up at the pitch-black abyss above and said with a smile,
"I fell from up there."
The three women stared at Owen in astonishment.
From what they had learned in the Emerald Dreamscape, the Demon Abyss was one of the most mysterious and dangerous regions in the current plane, unfit for any mage to venture into.
If it weren't for being inadvertently transported here by the formation, they would never have come to this perilous place.
But Owen not only reached this place but had fought his way here from above—an utterly unbelievable feat!
Princess Marry noticed Owen's unfathomable aura at this moment and sighed.
"I didn't expect that your progress has been so great that you now feel like a stranger to me."
Princess Marry remembered when she first met Owen, he was still regarded as her equal—a peer among geniuses. But now, Owen had charged forward relentlessly, becoming an unimaginable figure!
"No wonder you're Owen; your combat prowess is truly fierce!"
Raina looked at Owen with stars in her eyes, a hint of amazement flashing in her gaze.
Owen, at this moment, didn't know how to respond and could only scratch his head awkwardly.
Seeing this, Rachel stepped forward and calmly said,
"Hello, everyone. I'm Owen's friend. My name is Rachel. You can call me Rachel. How long have you been here? Have you noticed anything unusual?"
Raina paused for a moment, surprised by Rachel's gentle demeanor. She sensed no hostility from Rachel and smiled slightly.
"We haven't encountered much danger. After being transported here by the formation, we felt this place was unusual and thought we might perish here. But we met some very good people."
"Good people?"
Owen and Rachel exchanged glances, both seeing the shock in each other's eyes.
The Demon Abyss had previously been devastated, now brimming with danger. How could there be "good people"?
Noticing their reactions, Raina slowly explained,
"There's a tribe over there. The people are kind, primitive, and simple."
Owen's expression grew serious. Regardless of the situation, the sudden appearance of a tribe in this place was far from normal.
He immediately looked in the direction Raina pointed.
There, amidst some ruined walls, there appeared to be signs of habitation.
Turning back to Raina and the others, Owen said,
"Rachel and I are lost here. Could you take us to this tribe?"
Raina and the others exchanged glances. Their feelings toward Owen were complicated, but now that they had reunited, they didn't want anything bad to happen to him here.
"We can take you to the tribe, but we need to inform them first. After all, they're the masters of this place."
Owen and Rachel nodded in agreement.
Raina then led the way.
"Follow me."
Before long, under Raina's guidance, Owen and Rachel gradually arrived at a brighter area.
They could clearly see a low mountain ahead, emitting light from within.
On the mountain, apocalyptic lightning and purifying flames swirled, exuding an extremely dangerous aura.
Just looking at the mountain sent a shiver through Owen's heart. After all, how could such terrifying forces of destruction appear here?
While Owen was astonished, Raina and the others, unfamiliar with these powers, didn't find them unusual. They said casually,
"Wait here for a moment. I'll go inform them."
Owen and Rachel nodded, their expressions growing more solemn as they gazed at the mountain.
The destructive energy emanating from the mountain was extraordinarily intense, and beneath it, there indeed appeared to be a primitive tribe.
The area was surrounded by low earthen walls forming a large circle. Within the walls lay a flat grassland, where various spellbeasts were herded.
Children were tending the herds.
The elderly lounged under the mountain, basking in the light.
Strong men were building houses and chopping wood.
Numerous women gathered to make clothes and handicrafts.
The scene resembled nothing more than life in a primitive tribe.
However, as Owen and Rachel carefully observed, their expressions grew grim.
To live beneath a mountain imbued with such destructive energy, these seemingly ordinary people were anything but simple!
As they concentrated their senses, this became apparent.
The spellbeasts herded there were all ancient legendary beasts, each one famous across the planes.
Yet here they were, tamed and docile.
The children herding them were no ordinary beings but God Kings.
The women were of Archgod level, crafting clothes and items that were all ancient artifacts emanating special energy.
The men building houses were Celestial Gods.
And the elderly lying in repose were even more terrifying, having reached the level of Throne Celestial Gods!
Everyone in this tribe possessed unimaginable strength!
It was only because their strength far surpassed Raina's perception that they appeared ordinary to her.
"What… what's going on here?"
Rachel stared at Owen with wide eyes, shocked by the extraordinary nature of this ancient-looking tribe.
Owen squinted, a sudden thought flashing through his mind, and said,
"If I'm not mistaken, this must be the legendary Mount Olympus of the Gods!"
"Mount Olympus of the Gods?" Rachel's pupils constricted sharply.
She knew this place from legends: after the plane's creation, divine beings were born here, only to be bloodily eradicated by The Celestial. It was said to no longer exist.
"They must be the descendants of those ancient Celestial Gods," Owen said slowly.
