Chapter 773: Chapter 773: There is a Camera at Home
“Then why should we worry about these things? We should do what makes us happy and announce it soon, so it’s easier for us,” Cindy Clarke said.
She looked earnestly at Adrian Zhekova: “Besides, I really want to be open about it.”
“You’re so amazing that I want everyone to know that you’re my husband. I’m giving my life to you, and those who speak ill of me or question me are just jealous.”
“Let them be sour; it doesn’t matter. No matter how much they act like lemons, they won’t be able to hurt me. Instead, the only ones feeling bitter and unhappy are themselves.”
Cindy was open-minded.
She and Adrian Zhekova had a happy life together.
With Adrian as her husband, who had such good looks and treated her so attentively, life was good.
She also had a son who was adorable and in-laws who supported her and treated her like their own daughter.
Those people’s hurtful words couldn’t cause any real harm to her.
Moreover, it wasn’t fair to Adrian to keep their relationship a secret. It was as if she wasn’t good enough for him, so why should she hide him away and make him feel aggrieved?
“You are my husband, and that’s something I’m incredibly proud of,” Cindy said sincerely.
She was speaking the truth.
Anyone lucky enough to have Adrian Zhekova as their husband would surely want to shout about it from the rooftops, wouldn’t they?
While Cindy didn’t have such an arrogant intention, she did feel guilty about keeping Adrian hidden away for so long.
Cindy squeezed Adrian’s hand, “What do you think?”
Seeing that Cindy already had made up her mind and had prepared herself, Adrian naturally had no objections.
He nodded and said, “Okay.”
“How do you plan to announce it?” Adrian asked.
At that time, the video Cindy had posted was still playing.
She hadn’t paused the video while discussing things with Adrian.
Her eyes unintentionally fell on the video that was still playing.
Even though her eyes were focused on the screen, her thoughts were elsewhere.
Unconscious of what she was watching, it took a while for Cindy to become aware again.
Her eyes regained their focus, and she said to Adrian, “How about we record another video?”
Adrian looked at her questioningly.
Cindy explained, “Since I’m a food blogger, most of my posts are videos. Sometimes they’re simply cooking tutorials. Other times, I chat about daily life while cooking, which brings me closer to my followers.”
“Even though we’re separated by screens and the Internet, we live in different corners of the world. Sharing glimpses of my life makes it feel like we’re closer together.”
“So, I think it’s still best to announce this through a video,” Cindy said. “It’s also a good opportunity to have a chat.”
“With facial expressions and tone of voice, we can convey our message more clearly than through cold text, avoiding misunderstandings.”
However, Cindy remembered that this man didn’t really like being on camera.
He had attended every competition in person.
Because of Zoe Silverstone and Iris Doone, he had also spoken in front of the camera.
But all of that was for her.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t appear in front of the camera.
Cindy asked, “What do you think? If you don’t want to be on camera, we can just post on Facebook.”
“Let’s make a video,” Adrian said. “I think making a video is indeed a better option.”
“Besides, I want our Internet friends to see us sitting together, appearing in the same frame,” Adrian added.
This video was mainly for Cindy’s followers.
Only her followers would support her unconditionally.
They wouldn’t judge her with malice and would offer sincere blessings instead.
Anyway, once the followers had seen and shared the video, others would see it too, so there was no real difference.
Upon hearing this, Old Madam immediately exclaimed, “We have a camera at home!”
