What the fuck is going on now?!

The loud explosion sounds exactly as we are going through the lobby of the townhall. The secretary is about to tell us something when something makes the loud *Booom* sound outside.

"Oh, cool! Shit is going down now!" Aurelia says and runs outside.9

"Hey! Don't just go out!" I tell her.

Going out after hearing an explosion outside is one of the dumbest things you can do.

And she does not hear me and opens it.

"It's amazing how she is still alive." Lisa comments.

"I bet she has broken every bone in her body." Karina says.

Aurelia opens the door. I can hear people screaming outside. She closes the door.

"Oh no…" I say. If she is chickening out then that is…

She turns around with an excited smile on her face. I don't know if that is worse.

"A-Amber…" She sounds way more excited than shenshould be.

"I… what is happening outside?" Lisa asks and takes a step back. A reasonable reaction.

"A-amber… is a drake… a drake is flying over the city!" Her tail starts thrashing behind her.

A roar that shakes the building happens outside. That thing must be huge.

"How much is the old man paying you for this?" The secretary asks.

"We have not discussed that, but I will make sure it is enough." I answer.

"Are you looking for an assistant? I am considering leaving this town at this point."

I don't blame her.

"Hey! That is our job now!" Keith jumps.

"Not right now…" I answer the secretary.

What the hell am I discussing about contracting that secretary?!

"Amber! Can I go hunt it?! I will be good!" She starts to make little skips.

Why is she acting like that?!

"...sure…" I answer.

Aurelia turns around, opens the door. Screams "Here I go bitches!", and takes flight.

"What has gotten into her?" I ask to the air.

"She seems… more happy than normal." Lisa says. "What did you do last night to her?"

"You know, if it wasn't you I would think you are insinuating something."

"Huh? Like what?" Lisa really seems confused.

She cannot be this dense, right?

"Is Miss Aurelia usually like this?" Felicia asks with a tilt in her head, and her ear twitches.

"No… she must be really happy to go hunt for a big monster."

"Is like a child…" Karina says.

"Wait… is a drakeling!" Reality sinks on me. "Shit!" I run outside while pulling out Bloodless, as fast as I could.

What I find myself with is a group of people running for their dear life as well as a beast made of scales and angry fire is flying threateningly over town, breathing fire down into the buildings and roaring into the horizon.

Some buildings have caught fire already and I am torn between going to help and not letting my eyes leave Aurelia, who is flying in high chase to the beast, screaming at it to stop.

"How did that thing approach town without raising any alarm?!" I ask, trying to understand the situation. It's too big! I don't have elemental penetration so far to deal with this type of creature! They are the younger version of their adult counterparts, and weaker, but they still propose a threat.

"T-the drake is attacking the city!" Felicia says with her hands on her mouth. "Are you going to do something?"

It is a bigger threat than the one I killed in the forest when I came to this world… and seeing I had good equipment back there…

"I will see what Aurelia does and if she needs any form of support."

"Is she that strong?" Keith asks.

"She has managed to do some amazing acts in the past…" Lisa answers. "But a dragon?"

In terms of physical strength, she should be the equivalent of strong or close to what I was before I lost my stats and skills… so she must be able to hold herself. Although I have no idea how much penetration she has on her weapon.

The drake flies low and carries a tornado of wind behind her, forcing me to cover myself. Behind it…

"Come back to mommy!" Aurelia flies screaming.

Now that I think about it… I used a godly spell to defeat that young dragon…

"Lisa, you…"

I turn and she is already with her hands together.

"Lady Demisaus, take care of this non-believer and give her your strength to return stronger!"

Why does that sound like a threat?! I had never paid any attention to her prayers until now.

"Lady Ellen, please, protect this non-believer child from the forces of nature!"

I want to go help her but I cannot fly and the dragon is faster than what I can follow with ease.

Aurelia is flying behind the Drake, close to its tail. She is a bit faster. Her speed is breathtaking, and I have never seen her pull it off this far.

Maybe that is why she wanted to hunt it. It is allowing her to show off like never before.

The creature notices her when it looks back and roars, making the air shake with force.

It takes distance, managing to outspeed Aurelia by going lower again. She attempts to not lose to it, but then the beast turns around with great agility and breath at her with fiery fire.

Aurelia covers herself and gets engulfed by the fire.

"Ah! Miss Aurelia!" Keith screams.

She comes out of the fire and, like a bullet, hits the drake with force with her scythe in the head.

"She is part fire dragon, basically

She barely gets damaged by dragon fire." I say.

"She is basically an overly aggressive walking heather." Karina comments.

"I don't disagree…"

"Miss Amber, to whom did you answer?" Fellicia asks.

The dragon is thrown off the air with that single swing and it falls down, like a fired cannon ball that crashes into the ground, causing it to shake. Aurelia takes a moment to observe in the air, before lunging like a hawk for her prey.

"Come on! We need to make sure she is okay!" I say, and we run looking for her.

And when we find her… we see a scene I could not imagine ever
