Cursed To Crave My Foster Brothers Lustful Touch

Chapter 11: Kalden Veyl's Room

Aria scrambled to her feet in panic, frantically searching for a place to hide. But before she could make a move, the door creaked open.

Her heart sank.

There he was—the imposing figure of Grand Master Kalden Veyl. His aura was magnetic yet suffocating, exuding dominance that made the air in the room feel heavier. He stepped inside, flanked by her eldest brother Medrick and a group of sycophants who had eagerly volunteered to show the aloof master to his chambers, each hoping to curry favor with him. Their excited chatter halted the moment they crossed the threshold and saw her standing there.

Aria froze, her breath hitching as her gaze collided with Kalden's piercing crimson eyes. For a moment, the world seemed to pause. His eyes locked on hers, unblinking and unreadable, holding her in place like an invisible chain. But the weight of his gaze was too much, and she instinctively dropped her head, bowing it low in fear and shame.

Oh God.

Her thoughts spiraled. What on earth was going on?

Her blood ran cold as realization hit her like a bolt of lightning. This wasn't just any room. It was Master Kalden Veyl's chamber.

Why? Why of all places had her feet led her here?

She felt an overwhelming urge to scream at her misfortune. Now she's done it, she thought bitterly. Not only had she offended him the night before, but now she'd trespassed into his private chambers. The severity of the situation wasn't lost on her. Being caught in the chambers of any guest was already a breach of the palace rules, but trespassing into the chambers of someone as influential as Kalden Veyl? This wasn't something that could be brushed aside.

Her mind raced for a solution, but before she could come up with anything, Kalden began walking forward past her, his steps calm and unhurried. His gaze lingered on her briefly before he passed her without a word.

But while Kalden himself showed no immediate reaction, the others weren't as restrained.

"What is the meaning of this?" one of the sycophants muttered, his voice tinged with irritation.

"This is improper!" another chimed in, glaring at Aria as if her mere presence offended him.

But the loudest and most scathing voice came from her eldest brother, Medrick. His expression twisted in anger and disgust as he took a step closer to her.

"What in the world are you doing here, Aria?" he demanded, his voice raised and sharp enough to cut through the tension. "Do you have no shame at all? Have you completely lost your senses, barging into Master Kalden's room like some thoughtless fool?"

Aria flinched at the venom in his tone, but Medrick wasn't finished.

"Do you think this is your playground?" he continued, his voice dripping with disdain. "You've embarrassed yourself and this family enough already! Do you have any idea the kind of trouble you've brought upon us? Or are you so dense that you don't even realize the weight of what you've done?"

The murmurs of agreement from the others only made it worse. Their disapproving gazes bore into her, each look a silent accusation.

"She's always been like this," one whispered, loud enough for her to hear. "Careless and selfish."

"She doesn't deserve to be in this palace," another sneered.

"She's just a good for nothing"

Aria felt her cheeks burn with humiliation, and her hands clenched at her sides to stop them from trembling. Her throat tightened, and when she finally spoke, her voice was barely above a whisper.

"I... I didn't mean to..." she stammered, her words faltering under the weight of their contempt. "It was an accident..."

"An accident?" Medrick snapped, his eyes narrowing. "How convenient. Do you expect anyone to believe that?"

Aria lowered her head further, her lips trembling as she struggled to hold back tears. The room felt suffocating, the mocking voices and accusations closing in on her like a storm she couldn't escape.

And yet, in the midst of it all, she felt another gaze on her—a gaze far more intense than the others. She dared to glance up and found Kalden watching her from where he now sat on the edge of the bed. His expression was unreadable, his crimson eyes flickering with something she couldn't quite decipher.

Amusement? she thought, confused. But there was also a hint of a frown, as if he were pondering something.

Where was the bold and untamed girl who had dared to stand up to him the night before? The contrast between that defiant figure and the trembling, fearful one before him now was stark.

The situation seemed to worsen by the second, and Kalden, uncharacteristically, decided to intervene. Something he hardly ever did.

"That's enough."

His voice was calm but carried an undeniable authority that silenced the room instantly. The tension shifted as all eyes turned to him.

"Leave." His tone was colder this time, making it clear that it wasn't a request but an order.

Medrick hesitated, his lips parting as if to protest, but one look from Kalden was enough to make him swallow his words. The others quickly bowed and murmured apologies before shuffling out of the room, their expressions a mix of confusion and fear.

Soon, the door closed, leaving only Aria and Kalden in the chamber.

The silence was deafening.

Aria stood frozen, her mind racing as she struggled to comprehend what had just happened. Slowly, she turned to face Kalden, her movements hesitant and wary.

He was still seated on the bed, his posture relaxed but his gaze sharp and focused on her.

Her heart pounded in her chest as she met his eyes again, the intensity of his gaze making her feel as though he could see straight through her.

Her thoughts clicked in a direction she didn't want.

only the two of them were left here now and anything could happen...

Wasn't this a worser situation

Wait she was in the same room with this man!! Oh no!!
