Cursed: Earth's defenders

"So you learned my weakness, yes due to my uncontrollable curse there lies gaps in my defence..." Nalin confirmed Hikaru's suspicions.

His opponent had no control whatsoever of her powers.

Caught in a stand still the spike covered warrior awaited Hikaru's assault.

And as she waited Hikaru gave her what she wanted.

As he threw himself towards Nalin without fear.

Slipping between the spikes, the zeon managed to take no damage, and even more impressive Hikaru had slashed every unprotected part of Nalin's body.

Blood dripping from Hikaru's latest victim the two warriors of Earth set their sights onto Mirai.

"You're a freak". 

"Learn to control your power, it's pathetic". 

"Why do we even let worthless Zeons like you live anyway, King Darkus should have you killed". 

Multiple voices burrowed their way into Nalin's mind. 

"Shut up I killed you all why can I still hear you, no your dead, you all are" Nalin remained on the ground not even moving an inch, but in her mind multiple battles were being taken all at once. 

"I said shut up!" Nalin screamed, in which a spike shot out of her body. 

"Shirogane?" Hikaru tossed his body to face Shirogane who was impaled straight through his stomach.

"She hasn't moved an inch what's happening?". 

"Damm it Shirogane" Hikaru enraged smashed the spike that had impaled Shirogane's body, severing its connection to Nalin. 

Howling in pain, Nalin's body became infested with spikes, impaling her own body as well as many Rinocks. 

"She's out of control, fine Mirai will just have to wait... you're definitely having the wrong effect on me Shirogane" Hikaru sheathed his dagger. 

Lowering his body Hikaru infused energy into his chrome coloured legs. 

Electricity sparking off of Hikaru's feet soon illuminated the area even more. 

And soon after Hikaru smashed through Nalin's barricade of spikes. 

"Two seconds" Hikaru smashed his foot into the ground launching him into the air. 

"Six seconds" Hikaru continued to count, dragging his legs up towards his chest. 

"No your wrong I'm not a freak I deserve to live just as much as anyone else" Nalin argued against her trauma in which a birage of spikes exploded from her body in all directions. 

Hikaru welcomed the challenge as he phased through each and every one of Nalin's spikes, finally arriving upon Nalin herself. 

"fourteen seconds, times up" Hikaru thought to himself as the sparks of lightening suddenly disappeared from his legs. 

But just as Hikaru's time was up Nalin stood up her spikes disappearing.

Not allowing any chance for Nalin to move Hikaru smashed his leg upon Nalin's head, embedding her skull into Iceurn city's surface. 

But Hikaru didn't stop there as he evaded an incoming spike, he repeatedly stomped his foot onto Nalin's back. 

And soon after lightening consumed her body.

A few days ago on Comet city... 

"So the enhancement were giving you is based on the powers you showed us before..., unfortunately we wont be able to replicate your former speed but for fourteen seconds you will gain a temporary speed boost in your legs" Prince Rast began to weld two pieces of electrilite together. 

"I understand lets just get this over with, Shirogane is waiting" Hikaru worried over his allies safety grew tired of waiting.

But who could blame Hikaru, after all Shirogane is currently with a monster. 

"Another ability these legs will gift you with is the ability to stun your opponents with every touch of your foot and if you succeed in doing so multiple times you will paralyse them for about eight seconds" Rast Jr began to attach the enhancements to Hikaru's body. 

"I got it" Hikaru grew even more restless feeling a need to save his friend.

Now returning to the present...

Screaming in agony Nalin felt her life fading away in which she surprisingly felt the need to survive, the need to live her life. 

And in response to this need her curse which has always held her back in life finally saved her... 

Shooting a spike out of her lower back, impaling the merciless Zeon. 

And as Hikaru phased his foot out of the spike, Nalin took her chance to flee. 

"She isn't important right now, Sorry Shirogane but looks like I'm going to be the one to bring Mirai to our side" Hikaru attempted to mask his worry for Shirogane while darting off into space.
