Aurora walks though the forest, Benjamin slowly following behind

"Ugh i don't think I can walk much longer, you think we could slow down a bit" says Benjamin as he limps slightly

"No" Aurora says coldly

"But I may collapse at any moment" Benjamin says still struggling

"That is when we halt, when your flat on the ground" Aurora says annoyed

They continue walking though the forest making sure to watch out for beasts as Benjamin is not in the shape to fight

"You tire quickly, despite being so in shape" Aurora says annoyed

"It's not that I tire quickly, more that you just have an ungodly amount of stamina, for heavens sake we've been walking for hours not to mention that we haven't had nothing to eat because the beasts here are near inedible all whilst vaulting and climbing so many structures" says Benjamin

"Well I am quite the fan of stamina training, so I would see where you're coming from" aurora says

"Yeah, right" Benjamin says as he stops walking abruptly

"Aurora wait I sense something" Benjamin says as he crouches

"What is it" Aurora says confused

"Theres someone approching us" Benjamin says as he slowly draws his dagger

Aurora stoops down beside Benjamin as they begin to hear bushes rustling

"Excellent instincts" an unknown voice says from the bushes while clapping

"Derrick ?" Aurora says as another person announces there presence while walking from behind a tree

"Hmm fancy seeing here Aurora" Derrick says as smiles at her

"What do you want" Benjamin says while pointing his dagger at Derrick

"I dont think you would want this battle, seeing as you are out of stamina" Derrick says smirking

"I mean I think you've got your work cut out for you as well, if not even more so" says Benjamin while pointing out the severe wounds Derrick and heliop have sustained

"Your right" Heliop says as he grunts from pain

"Seeing as we aren't in the condition for a group battle, let's not fight" Derrick says laughingly

"Understandable" Aurora says still pointing her dagger at the duo

Benjamin lowers his weapon and stands to face the two

"If you don't mind me asking, what beast could've possibly done this to you two" Benjamin says confused

"The grassland drake" says Heliop

"Wait you two actually survived" Aurora says suprised

"Yes, we were ambused by it and this fool thought we could beat it" Heliop says looking at Derrick in anger

"My apologies" Derrick says while holding up his hands

"Anyways, we were following you two for a while after the drake decided we weren't worth the hassle, we want to ally with you two" says Derrick

"Hilarious, as if we would believe that" Benjamin says while laughing

But Derrick and Heliop only stare unshaken

"Oh your actually serious, didnt think the second best team would ask to be our allies" Benjamin says pridefully

"And even besides that, finding competent allies would only prove advantageous in the coming weeks" says Heliop

"Sure, infact we are already allies with Lelovias teams so you two would certainly be welcomed" says Aurora

Benjamin puts his hand on her shoulder whispering into her ear

"Are you sure we should ally with them, You could just take them out with one swift motion with the condition they're in now" says Benjamin

"I'm sure they know that well, but Heliop's abilities are nothing to scoff at, even if I were to take them now we would just be doing ourselves a disservice" says Aurora

"And not only that they're right, non of the teams can fight the apex by themselves let alone us" says Aurora

"Alright i'll trust you" says Benjamin

"Okay now that we are allies we should find a place to sleep" says Benjamin

"No" Heliop says sternly

"Why not" Aurora says confused

"We'll be attacked by beast as soon as we close our eyes, our best bet would be to find a cave of some sort and continue to the village in the morning be for the grassland drake awakes" says Heliop

"Alright then lets go" says Benjamin

They walk though the forest while still searching for a cave to camp out in till morning

As they continue walking they hear the familiar sound of metal hitting metal and the sound of mana charging up

BOOM!

"What was that" Benjamin says confused

"Theres a battle going on" Derrick says worried

In a clearing four silhouettes battle each other

"Wait thats-" Heliop is cut off as a fire ball flys past his face at great speed grazing his face

"Are you okay" Derrick says worried

"Yes, but thats Davils and Helga's team battling" Heliop says stunned

[Heatwave]

Marcia chants as a beam of fire barrels towards the twins whom easily step out of the way, the beam slightly singeing they're blonde hair

"Why can you not simply surrender, I urge you to think of the medical implications that come with battling us" Davil says, his dagger still sheathed

"They will not listen brother, there egos are too great to bow to superiority" metrelar says as he slowly walks towards Helga

"I'd rather be proven inferior than believe that I am" Helga says as she dashes at metrelar before slashing at his chest

Metrelar swiftly grabs the wrist of her attacking arm while striking her in the throat with his elbow

"Get back" Marcia says coldly as she points her wand at metrelar

"Put her down and leave or I'll remove your filthy head off your body" Marcia says as she begins to charge a spell

"Such a vulgar threat only prove your inferiority" davil says as he grabs Marcia's wand from behind her

"Before you ask, I was able to reach you simply due to your hyper fixation on my brother actions which caused you to completely disregard me" davil says after snapping her wand and pushing her to the ground

"Marcia !" Helga screams, her voice raspy due to her throat injury

"Now what will you do seeing as me and my brother have swiftly demonstrated our superiority" metrelar says while squeezing helgas wrist which causes her to fall to her knees

"I even decided to do so all for the entertainment of an audience" metrelar says as he looks into the direction of Aurora and the others

"He saw us !" Aurora thinks before running off quickly followed by the others

"Oh, it seems our audience have left" metrelar says as he releases helgas wrist

"Fear not for I will retrieve them" davil says before pursuing the group, dodging and swerving out the way of shrubs and trees

"You cannot escape" davil says while running faster, he eventually finds Benjamin who immediately attacks but the attack is easily dodged by davil

"So you will be the first to fall" davil says as he swiftly unsheathes his dagger and attacking Benjamin who barely redirects the attack with the side of his dagger

"For number one you're quite lackluster"Benjamin says, taunting davil

"If you are trying to anger me you have surely failed" davil says as he gets ready to attack, his attack is cut short as Aurora leaps from above to strike the dagger from his grasp

"Now !" Aurora shouts as Derrick rushes from a nearby bush to tackle davil, followed by heliop who slashes at his chest but davil swiftly pulls himself from derricks grapple before grabbing heliop a collar and throwing him into Benjamin

"So this was your plan" davil says as he starts to giggle

"With all due respect you cannot truly think that this measly group could ever defeat me" davil says before fixing his uniform

"Much less at your current state, I mean one of you are on the brink of fainting from exhaustion and two are severely injured" davil says before laughing

"We just have to make enough noise to alert the drake, and then it mutually assured destruction now isn't it" aurora says tauntingly

"Is that so, well if that's the case I'll be leaving" davil says before leaping into a nearby tree

"Though be assured when the time comes we will eliminate you all" davil says as he leaps off

"Thank the heavens" aurora says before letting out a sigh

"Now that we know those twins have taken the hostile approach it would be in our best interests to stay out of there way" heliop says as he grabs his abdomen in pain
