"Ah, todays the day" Mathew says as he fixes his tie, his deep red hair perfectly styled and his uniform ironed, and his sword sheathed and placed on his hip

"I should go meet Benjamin" Mathew thinks as he goes to open his door, but someone had taken the courtesy to before he could

"Oh you are already here" Mathew says as he opens the door to see Benjamin and Isabelle

"Not because of my own will" Benjamin says as he glances over at Isabelle

"the principal and the other instructors who where away are waiting in the courtyard" Benjamin says as he shoves his left hand into his pocket and placed the other onto the hilt of his sword

"So who do you plan to group with for the placement event" Mathew asks

"No offence to either of you but I have my eyes set on someone else" Benjamin says

"No offence taken, I wasn't planning to place with you either way" Mathew says as he leaves the room and closes the door behind him

"May I ask who that is" Isabelle says concerned

"I don't know her name, but I can tell she is worthwhile" Benjamin says as he smirks

"Her ?" Isabelle says as she starts to get angry

"Are you mad" the girl with her black hair says a couple dorms down

"The names aurora" the girl says as she smiles

"What does she posses, that I do not" Isabelle says annoyed

"She's strong" Benjamin says coldly

"Hm" Mathew grunts awkwardly

"That must have hurt" aurora says as she giggles before walking past them to the courtyard

"I'll be seeing you" Isabelle says to Benjamin angrily as she follows suit

"Well" Benjamin says as he walks off as well

"That was brutal man" Mathew says as he follows Benjamin

"She was annoying anyway" Benjamin says as they continue to walk before reaching the courtyard

A group of students stand amazed by the arrival of all ten holy grand knights

"From today onward, nothing other than excellence will be tolerated" the principal, a old man with a staff says

"I, Malinda leroxes, principal of grelaville announce the placement event !" Malinda shouts as the crowd roars in applaud

"Choose a partner, who you will fight beside till the end, the top ten teams will participate in a battle amongst each other in a tournament, the final team shall decide who is number one and who falls behind, these and many more rules you should be similar with !" Malinda roars followed the crowd, aurora grabs Benjamin's arm to signify the alliance

"Better not fall behind" aurora says

"Same here !" Benjamin says in response

"Now in a few minutes you will be let into the great forest, all beside murder will be tolerated !" Malinda says

"The first ten teams to reach the elder root shall be declared the winners, but until that climax has been reached, combat is not only permitted but expected !" Malinda says

"The grand holy knights will be at watch as allowed by the king, to make sure no murder or outside help occurs !" Malinda says as he gestures to the knights

"If caught doing either you will be disqualified and expelled !" Malinda says seriously

"Now find your partners !" Malinda says before scurrying away

"Don't hold me back" says Benjamin

Aurora dosent respond, instead simply smiling

A few minutes had passed, and everyone had found a partner

"May the placemen event, begin ! " shouts one of the ten holy grand knights as everyone begins to rush into the forest

"We're going to head straight to the elder root, or atleast try" says Aurora says as she is running

"potential combatants and the illusion brought on by the forest are our only issue" aurora says as she leaps over a log

"Shouldn't we try to lay as low as possible, even if that means we might not place" Benjamin says as he slide under a group of vines

"No, the faster we reach the less we have to worry about other combatants" aurora says as she and Benjamin are grabbed

could you assist us please, I believe me and my partner have already found ourselves lost" a tall girl with ivory hair and weirdly spiraling eyes says

Aurora slashes at the girl as soon as she regains her footing, but the attack slashes through the girl like air

"Illusion magic, you're one deceiving bastard aren't you" says Aurora while keeping her gaurd up

"You saw through my spell, I suppose it would only be redundant to use it again, but victory is still ours" the girl says as she emerges from a bush

"Where is her partner" Benjamin thinks before pointing his sword at the the girl

"Hmm" the girl grunts as she lifts her hands in the air

"Tangle" the girl whispers

As she says that, roots begin shooting up from the earth at Benjamin and Aurora, avoiding it before quickly cutting them to secure a safe ground

As they land back down Aurora swiftly turns her head to formulate a plan but Benjamin rushes at a nearby tree

"You should learn to hide your mana" Benjamin says as the illusion fades to reveal another student

"Ugh, well either way now I can fight without concern" says Aurora

"Well, shall we begin" says the girl as she pulls out a dagger
