At the end of the hall, atop layers of steps, was a giant throne. The king seated on the throne could overlook the entire hall, past kings, and outsiders.

Chu Tianhe warned Lu Yu, "Once we leave here, the Sand God General will appear."

Lu Yu rubbed his hands, bent over, staring at the throne at the end of the hall, and said, "Let's begin!"

Bam~ Lu Yu leaped with full force, like a cannonball crashing toward the throne, moving fast enough to leave a trail of afterimages behind.

Whoosh~ Swish~ Lu Yu had flown halfway across the hall when the figure of the Sand God General hurriedly appeared, and a whirlwind of yellow sand intercepted Lu Yu.

The Sand God General's thunderous roar caused the whole hall to tremble.

Instantly, he had crossed three-quarters of the hall, reaching the edge of the steps before the throne.

Seeing that its soul-stopping roar had no effect on Lu Yu, the Sand God General dispersed into sand, reappearing midway up the steps.

The Sand God General wielded a large blade and slashed down at Lu Yu ascending the steps. Lu Yu held the Demon-Breaking Saber, charging upwards against it.

Boom!

The large blade in the Sand God General's hand couldn't withstand the clash's force, exploding into countless yellow sands, scattering in all directions.

Taking the chance, Lu Yu thrust the Demon-Breaking Saber, filled with chilling yin and darkness, into the Sand God General's body, attempting to freeze it.

Crack crack crack~ Intense grinding sounds emanated from the Demon-Breaking Saber, indicating the immense power crushing down on it inside the Sand God General.

The Sand God General paid no heed to Lu Yu's attack. After the large blade shattered, four yellow sand arms emerged from its back, each holding a different weapon.

Spears, swords, hammers, bows... The Sand God General was proficient in all kinds of weapons, its weapons constantly shifting forms, creating considerable trouble for Lu Yu.

Bang~ A sand hammer smashed into Lu Yu's arm, sending him flying.

Bam! Mid-air, Lu Yu adjusted his posture, landed on a stone pillar, and leveraging from the pillar, charged at the Sand God General, like a massive cannonball, crashing into its body.

Boom! A sound echoed from behind the throne, and the Sand God General's figure stiffened. Lu Yu seized the opportunity to tear apart the Sand God General's body and rushed toward the throne.

Chu Tianhe leaned out from the throne, shouting, "Hurry up!"

After shouting, he dove through the opened stone door first. Lu Yu stepped on the throne, leaped over it, and before the sand river formed by the Sand God General could reach him, jumped into the stone door.

In the vast hall, only the impotent and furious Sand God General remained.

After Lu Yu and Chu Tianhe left, the whole world seemed to lose its foundation, quickly collapsing and disappearing, as the Sand God General's roar faded into the crumbling world.
