Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Following the situation in the Frozen Wastelands concluding and the ultimate fate of the thing that had been stored inside the strange tree root being unknown to everyone but Xuan Hao, the different Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators who had originally been sent there to observe the situation and inform their respective powers in case something of importance ended up happening, wasted no time in reporting the situation about the unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator who had suddenly appeared at the Frozen Wastelands. Making sure that outside of the monk from the Golden Nirvana Temple and the ruler of the Frozen Wastelands who had both ended up making a brief appearance, their seniors would also focus their attention on finding out more about this unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator.

The reason for the focus on this unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator being almost at the same level, if not more than the two Land Creation Realm combatants was rather simple, as those two were already known, while the other remained completely unknown. Posing a greater threat compared to two already-known parties. Especially considering that they had already managed to understand that this unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator had at least reached the Sea Formation Realm. Information that had come from the one Middle Stage Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator who had gone to the Frozen Wastelands, someone from the Blue Sea Empire who was among the most eager to learn more about this unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator.

Unfortunately, no matter how much the different major powers searched for information about this unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator, they were ultimately unable to find anything even after enlisting the help of wandering cultivators from the Explorer Union.

At the end of the day, the only ones who had any accurate information on the unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator who had appeared at the Frozen Wastelands was the monk from the Golden Nirvana Temple and the ruler of the Frozen Wastelands, neither of which would easily spread this information.

The reason for this was rather simple, both wanted the major powers in the Northern Central Region to mess up and offend this hidden ancient sect, as doing so would end up weakening the Northern Central Region. Making it easier for the Western Central Region and the Frozen Wastelands to encroach on the territory of the Northern Central Region.

And… Perhaps because they sensed some kind of plot, the different major powers in the Northern Central Region decided to lay low and not recklessly move around for the time being. Allowing the demonic cultivators to take the lead when they resumed their attack only half a day after the upheaval that had taken place inside the Frozen Wastelands. Focusing their full attention on finding out more information about the Profound Immortal Realm cultivator who had appeared back then…

This… I never expected things to turn out like this…

Learning about all of this while silently waiting inside the sect for the owner of the cut-off tree root to appear, Xuan Hao could not help smiling somewhat wryly at himself before he began to seriously consider whether to try and sell information to the different major powers about the Profound Immortal Realm cultivator they were searching for, being himself.

But on second thought, he decided against it, as it would undermine the reputation of the Star Shattering Sect if it was ever found that he, a revered existence of an ancient hidden sect, had sold his own information for a few spirit stones.

For now, he decided to just remain focused on keeping an eye out for that existence and not involve himself in the different major powers searching for his identity. Allowing them to continue chasing his non-existent identity, as there really wasn't anything for them to search for in the first place with how this was his first time appearing outside the sect after breaking through to the Sea Formation… If one didn't count the mystic realm that was cut off from the rest of the world.

The only thing he couldn't foresee was whether someone else in the sect managed to put two and two together and conclude that the different major powers were out searching for him. After all, his strength was well known inside the sect and while him visiting the Frozen Wastelands wasn't known to many, it should have spread among the elders of the sect and would inevitably end up reaching the disciples. At which point it was almost certain that it would spread outside the sect. Not so much because the disciples would sell the information, but more so because the disciples interacted more often with people who were not part of the sect and might bring it up in a conversation.

After all, the information about him going to the Frozen Wastelands to check out what was happening wasn't exactly a secret. If the different major powers of the Northern Central Region learnt about the unknown Profound Immortal Realm cultivator that had appeared at the Frozen Wastelands being from the Star Shattering Sect through the disciples, that would be fine. Different from it being him spreading the news himself.

The main difference from if he himself were to spread the information was that it would likely take at least a few weeks before the information naturally made its way out of the sect through the disciples, something that would undoubtedly leave the different major powers of the Northern Central Region in an extremely uneasy state during this time, a state that the demonic cultivators were bound to take full advantage of.

In fact, they had already begun to do so, pushing back not just the Blue Sea Empire, but also several other major powers bordering the Frozen Wastelands in a relatively short period of time. Getting ever closer to reaching the true borders of these major powers as they cut through dozens of empires no smaller than the now fallen Sky Empire in less than a day before, the different major powers finally had the chance to realize what was happening and respond accordingly to prevent any further losses.
