CRUEL LOVE 1

A week later;

Sophia sat in front of her mirror making up herself. She had already put on a pretty short dress and tied her braids nicely. After putting the final touches on her face, she took her handbag and left the house.

She ordered an uber to joseph's house which took quite a while before she finally reached. She was so excited to come to his house; it's been a while since she came here.

When she finally reached, she unlocked the door with her spare key and got inside the house. She didn't see any sign of him so she thought he might have gone out or maybe even sleeping.

She was about to enter the kitchen when she heard weird sounds from upstairs.

"What's that?" she thought and it made her heart beat faster. She closed the kitchen door and walked towards the stairs slowly.

She climbed each of the stair with heavy legs while hearing the sounds clearer and clearer.

"Was she really right about Joseph? Was Favour also right about him? Why did he do this to her?"

She finally reached the door to his room; she opened it slowly and peeked from the little space.

It was joseph. It was her boyfriend.

He was on the bed kneeling banging another woman who wasn't her from the back. Tears ran down from her eyes fast. As she was crying slowly and quietly, she felt like the woman's voice was familiar. Very familiar.

No it can't be. It can never be her. Nooo.

She couldn't take this any longer so she opened the door widely and the people on the bed stopped what they were doing and looked at her.

"Favour?"

Joseph called Favour over that early morning. He was going to make Sophia find out today and wasn't going to feel remorse for that.

Favour was really surprised when she got a call from joseph. She thought that maybe he finally has feelings for her. She wasn't even aware of his plan. She dressed up quickly and went over immediately.

She saw him in his bedroom with a towel around his waist. He just had his bath and he looked so hot. She walked closer to him and touch his back.

"Oh Favour, you are here."

"Yes, I'm here."

"I've missed you so much that's why I called", he lied.

Favour was more shocked right now. "Did he really fall in love with her?"

"I missed you too", she responded sincerely.

Joseph knew that Sophia was going to arrive any moment from now so he had to strike immediately.

He touched Favour's face and brought it closer to his. Favour's heartbeat was increasing and increasing with each movement. Their lips touched and they kissed deeply. Joseph took her to his bed and stripped her naked.

His hands roamed all over her body and he went inside of her. Favour was enjoying everything he was doing to her. She wasn't even thinking anymore; she had reached cloud 9.

They continued in their bliss for a while when they heard when the door opened without abruptly.

"Favour?"

Favour rushed out from joseph's grip and covered herself.

"How could you both do this to me?" Sophia asked while tears streamed down quickly. She felt so betrayed and hurt. Her best friend and her boyfriend.

"So you were the woman he was cheating on me with? You knew he was cheating and you were the woman he was sleeping with? You still looked at me in the face after all you did?"

Sophia was so angry. She screamed and screamed. She was so hurt and hurt. The tears were so hot and she felt intense pain in her chest.

"How could they?"

Favour didn't want to feel remorseful for what she did. After all she started this. But she saw her best friend crying pitifully. She saw her holding her chest so tightly.
