"Renji, I'm not going either," Sumireko Sanshokuin said, shaking her head gently. "I'll just accompany Yukino to take care of the cats."

She wasn't too fond of group activities, especially those involving many people. Compared to going to the movies, she preferred spending her time quietly in the library or, as she suggested, petting cats with Yukino. In her heart, Sumireko really wanted to know how far Yukino and Renji's relationship had progressed.

"Then, Yuki? How about you?" Renji saw that the two most beautiful girls in school were refusing, so he turned to his younger sister.

Yuki Suou smiled brightly. "Hehe, since Yukino and Sanshokuin aren't going, I'm not going either, Onii-chan!"

She didn't want to go either. If it were just the girls, she could still help her Onii-chan. But as soon as other boys were involved, she immediately lost interest. Yuki didn't want others to see her private side—the side she only showed her Onii-chan and her family.

Yukino immediately hid her lunch box, protecting it as if it were a treasure. Renji looked at her with a pleading, hopeful face. At first, Yukino remained stiff, but when Sumireko and Yuki started to persuade her, she finally gave in.

Renji finally got to taste the lunch made by Yukino. Seeing Yukino pretend to be calm yet blush shyly as she fed him, Yuki Suou and Sumireko Sanshokuin exchanged glances and smiled secretly.

"I'm going to the library to find a book I want to read, Yuki-san," Sumireko said, giving a subtle gesture to Yukino. "Want to come?"

"Of course, of course!" Yuki replied.

The two girls, smiling as if they were conspiring aunts, left the club room. Renji silently gave them a thumbs-up, deciding to give them a reward later.

Only Renji and Yukino were left in the club room. Oh, no, there was also Yuigahama Yui, who was running an errand. Just as Renji was thinking of Yui, a message came in from Yuki Suou.

Onii-chan, come on! I've already taken Yuigahama-san away with Sanshokuin!

Renji smiled, his heart warming. Yuki was indeed the best sister.

In the quiet club room, Yukinoshita Yukino felt a little nervous. She tried to hide it by acting calm, putting her lunch box down, and returning to her book. She hoped her cold attitude would prevent Renji from doing anything unexpected.

Renji rubbed her calf. "I just want to give you a massage. My ancestors opened a massage parlor," he said with a serious face.

Yukino scoffed. His excuse was terrible. It was obvious he wanted to touch her leg. Yukino endured the shame, snorted, and stared at him with sharp eyes.

"Remove your hand, or you'll bear the consequences!"

Renji was curious about what consequences Yukino meant. But after seeing her body yesterday, he thought about it all night. This was a rare opportunity given by Yuki and Sumireko. He didn't want to waste it.

Without warning, he pulled Yukino onto his lap.

"Ah!"

"What... what are you doing? This is the club room... this is school!"

Renji's warm breath was on her cheek. Yukino felt her face burning. She realized Renji had just kissed her cheek.

"I just want to hug you, Yukino," Renji whispered. "Just for a moment, okay?"

Yukino shuddered. "Rude!" she cursed. "Do you know what you're doing, you hooligan?"

Renji nodded, resting his chin on Yukino's shoulder. "I know. I'm just hugging you."

Yukino struggled twice, but her body suddenly froze. She felt something strange and hot across her skirt. The girl's eyes watered.

He's bluffing me!

"Don't worry," Renji whispered again. "I'll only hug you. I promise not to do anything else."

Renji's pleading words made Yukino's cheeks even hotter. She bit her lip, clenching the collar of Renji's shirt with her small hands, then whispered. "If you dare to mess around, I'll ignore you forever!"

"Alright, I won't mess around!"

Renji was forced to abandon his intention of kissing Yukino. He knew Yukino still needed to be persuaded, but at least this was progress. She was willing to let him hug her.

Yukino's heart was beating fast. Her gut instinct told her this was wrong. At school, in the club room, and in Renji's arms? This was too embarrassing. However, Yuki and Sumireko clearly liked it and still gave her a chance. If she refused Renji again, she would feel ungrateful. Plus, Renji was pleading with her.

The unspoken love in his words moved my heart so much.

Renji was very happy. Yukino's soft body was in his arms. This was different from hugging through a blanket yesterday. He could really feel her warmth. Yukino's amazing legs were also on his knees. Yukino felt Renji's irregular breathing, and she panicked.
