Crossover: I Took In a Runaway High School Girl

Chapter 144: Love

After rinsing her mouth at the sink, Miura Yumiko wasted no time. With an intimate gesture, she hugged Renji's arm, dragging him back to the empty flower patch. The evening breeze blew gently, stroking her golden hair as they sat on the bench. After their intense moments, Yumiko's spoiled and attention-seeking side began to show.

Her big, watery eyes stared straight at Renji. Who could resist the gaze of a beautiful girl whose eyes were filled with sincere love? At least Renji couldn't. He raised his hand, his fingers gently stroking strands of Yumiko's hair, smiling.

"Thank you, Yumiko. I feel much better now."

"You idiot!" She couldn't help but glare at him, then pouted. "Mahiru came back with a red face earlier. You didn't... do that kind of thing, did you?"

"Yeah, what else? After all, I get 'angry' faster now," Renji replied in a joking tone.

Miura Yumiko experienced it firsthand. Her mind went back to their intimate moment, and she looked at Renji with a mix of annoyance and admiration. My mouth hurts, my hands and feet are numb. He... really bullied me. She thought, Maybe Mahiru can't stand to face Renji's 'love' alone.

"Renji... do you like me?" she asked suddenly, her expression turning very serious.

Renji touched her golden hair and answered honestly. "Of course. I already told you that time. I admire you very much, Yumiko."

"But you liked Hayama-san at the time and rejected me directly," Miura Yumiko blushed. She immediately shook her head. "Don't mention that person's name. Anyway, you treated me like this today, you have to be responsible for me!"

"No problem!" Renji hugged her slender waist tightly. "I'll be responsible until the end."

A sincere smile blossomed on Yumiko's face. She suddenly leaned in and kissed Renji's cheek. "Then, let's stop there for today. Hime and the others are urging me."

Renji was surprised. "Wait, you left your friends in the middle? You really ignored them. Are you really Yumiko?"

"You idiot, it's all your fault!" Miura rolled her eyes, reluctantly breaking free from his arms. She waved her hand, turned, and ran away with cheeks that were still red.

In the Service Club room, Shiina Mahiru saw Miura Yumiko's reddish face and smiled teasingly. "Yumiko, how do you feel?" Mahiru asked in a gentle tone.

Ebina Hime also looked at her with great interest, the expression in her eyes as if to say, Come on, tell me the drama! Sayu Ogiwara smiled from the corner of her eye, clearly wanting to join the gossip.

Miura Yumiko nodded, pretending to be calm. "Yeah, that's what it feels like."

"Did you convey your feelings well?" Shiina Mahiru asked again, her voice filled with innocent curiosity.

"Yes. He said... he would be responsible for me," Yumiko answered proudly, unaware that she had just given away a very significant detail.

Renji might never know, but Yumiko actually came to him at the urging of Mahiru and Sayu. Meanwhile, Ebina Hime, who loved watching romantic dramas, was a close friend who knew exactly about their relationship. She also knew about Renji's mysterious power, so she naturally wouldn't spread the news of their date.

Carrying a few bottles of drinks, Renji returned to the Service Club. As soon as she saw him, Yukinoshita Yukino seemed to have found a savior. She reached out, pulled Renji's arm, and pleaded in a serious tone, "Please, take Yuigahama away. I'm really not good at dealing with girls like her."

"That's too much, Yukino-chan! Am I that disliked?" Yuigahama Yui looked at her sadly.

Yukinoshita Yukino sighed. "It's not that I hate you. I'm just not good at dealing with people like you."

"Well, in the girls' dictionary, that means hate!" Yui sighed, looking sad.

Yukinoshita Yukino rubbed her forehead and said in a very straightforward tone, "Since you're not a member of the Service Club, you're considered an outsider. Since there's no commission, isn't it very impolite to come and interfere?"

Yuigahama Yui smiled awkwardly. "Is it too late if I write an application now?"

Yukinoshita Yukino was just speechless. The second young lady was truly feeling dizzy. The club she had originally built was now getting more and more crowded, all because of Renji's presence. Teacher Shizuka Hiratsuka could no longer use the excuse of a lack of members to disband her club.

Yuigahama Yui finally joined the Service Club as she wished. Renji had no objections. Although Yukino looked dizzy, deep down she didn't hate the attention. Her soft heart, protected by her cold personality, was slowly starting to melt by their patience and sincerity.

Since there were no commissions, Yukino decided to end the club activities early. As usual, she followed Renji and Sumireko Sanshokuin home to feed the cats.

Sumireko petted the cats for a while before returning to her house, which was not far away. Renji walked her back and got a kiss from her as a reward before returning to Sakurasou Dormitory.

"Yukino, would you like to come to my room?" Renji asked, looking at his sister-in-law who was sitting on the floor, petting a cat with her hand. Without anyone else present, he once again called her by her first name, "Yukino."

Hearing that, Yukino backed away a little and looked at him warily. "What do you want to do? If you want to do something perverted to me, please forgive me for refusing you!"

Renji looked at her exasperatedly. "What do you think of me? I just want to share a story and show you something interesting. Why do you think so badly of me?"

Yukinoshita Yukino remembered how much Yuki Suou had done for Renji, and she felt that she couldn't lose to her sister-in-law. Her tone softened. "Then... let's see. What's this good thing?"

"Follow me and you'll know!" Renji grabbed her small hand, pulled her, and walked toward his room. The cat, as if it understood what was about to happen, left on its own. If the master and mistress of the house were going to do something shameful, and it wanted to eat dried fish, it had better disappear quickly.

Yukinoshita Yukino stared at her small, held hand. Her red cheeks were slightly flushed. What is he going to show me? Is it a bad thing? A few times, she had felt something scary when Renji held her.

Renji's room was very tidy. There was no strange smell in it. Renji did like cleanliness, and Sayu and Mahiru often helped him. Even Frieren and Fern used his room to practice cleaning magic, making every corner of the dormitory very clean.

"This is a bit unexpected. Your room... is very clean."

Renji smiled. "If it wasn't clean, I wouldn't dare to invite you in."

"So, what good thing do you want to show me?" Yukino looked around in confusion. She remembered Yui once saying that boys like to hide books or CDs under the bed. Renji also had them, but they were openly placed on the bookshelf.
