" Since he is coming home in two days time, I'll go to his house and wait till he comes" I thought.

I woke up, do the needful, then I headed straight to my soulmate's house.....Since we are close, I have the spare keys to his house.

I got to his house and everything in it was scattered.

" What a mess"I exclaimed.

I started arranging his house. While arranging his house, I stumbled upon" protection " and the dress of a girl. Confused at first, I wanted to give James a call but I shook it off saying" James cannot cheat. Maybe he bought it for me" .

He has always been pestering me for sex but I always tell him to wait for our wedding night .

"I bet he can't wait . Maybe I should give myself to him at night" I thought.

.....It was night time already. So I decided to hide In his bathroom.

I waited and waited until I heard a female voice and a man's erratic breath.

I slowly opened the bathroom door only to see horror right in front of me. It was holy shit. A man entangled with a woman and slamming each other against the wall. Everything defiled my knowledge of God at that moment and the worst part...It was James.....my so called soul mate and my bestie.....Eliza.

"What the hell is going on here" I screamed in pain.

"Jamie, it's not what you think. It was the work of the devil" James coaxed.

"Jamie I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself self...." Eliza said and smirked.

As I reminence those awful sceneries, tears of sadness began to drip from my very own eyes.

My bad luck didn't end there.I end up losing my virginity to an unknown man at the bar underground .

No time to think. I know if I was a second late, Devil incarnate will kill me.

I hurriedly dressed up, had lunch and hailed a taxi.While sitting down and enjoying the fresh breeze of the cool atmosphere, I spotted a familiar face.

"Stop right here sir" I said.

I rushed out of the taxi and my suspicion was proved correct. It was James right in front of my very eyes.

JAMES POV

My life got so down eversince the thing with Eliza.I left the one that truly loved me and came to the one who destroyed my career. Turns put Eliza was only after my money.She took my money and left me with nothing.

" James, is that you" A fair maiden said....She was so beautiful to the extent that my jaw dropped.

"Yes.It's me but how do you know my name?" I asked. "Don't you remember me?Jamie your ex-"She said.

All the memories came back flooding like a huge dam breaking. She was more beautiful than I remember. I guess she is probably in a relationship or married at most.

" Hello, earth to James.How have been doing over the years "Jamie ask with a fake smile. "Good.Jamie, I want to ask you something" I said. "What?" She asked. "Are you in a relationship Perhaps" I asked.

As she was about to answer, she got an incoming call.

" Alright baby, I'm coming to your car now" She said to the person on the other line.

"James, we'll catch up some other time" She said and she turned only for me to see her walk briskly to the black Maybach parked across the road.

That proves it. She's in a relationship. All my imaginations of being with her died at the moment.

" She needs someone better than a cheater like me" I soliloquised.
