Chapter 539: The Dance of Wail and Widow
Pablo found the way to differentiate between the clones and the real Demon King.
The clones didn't have a third eye like the real Demon King had.
This revelation might help Pablo later but right now, it would do him nothing.
Nevertheless, he decided to share his findings with everyone.
"The real Demon King has the third eye. All the others don't. So if you see a Demon King without the third eye in the middle of their forehead, know that they are a clone. Alright?"
"Yes."
"What about the clones of the dragon?" Draxus asked.
Everyone also wanted to know that and Pablo answered honestly.
"I don't know about that yet. I am trying to find it. I will tell you as soon as I find it."
Everyone nodded and focused on the fight.
The Demon King was between the fangs of the dragon king but the Demon King didn't have any pained expressions on his face anymore.
His third eye stared at the center of the dragon king's head.
Pablo knew something would happen. The Demon's third eye would do something. Because if it didn't then Dravakos would die.
And as Pablo believed, it happened just like that.
Something black made its appearance as it showed itself from the third eye.
Only a little bit was being seen and no one could understand what was that.
But the next second, Dravakos' voice echoed.
"Come Out!"
The Demon King shouted and just after that…
SWISHH!
That same thing shot out from the third eye and it went straight to the middle of the dragon king's head.
Just after that, the Demon King returned the favor to the dragon king.
"Aaaaaaaangggggghhhhhhh!!"
The dragon king cried in pain just like he had made Dravakos cry as that black thing had stabbed the dragon in the middle of his head.
Pablo and everyone stared at that black thing and they weren't sure what to make of it.
They believed something great or even more sinister than the demon king would come out of the third eye but instead of that, only a black sword had come out.
Yes, the sword was large, eerie, heavy, sharp, with a skull in the middle of its hilt, but in the end, it was just a sword. Nothing more and nothing less.
Nevertheless, the sword managed to pierce the thick skin of the dragon king and due to the pain, the dragon king let go of Dravakos from his fangs.
The Demon King was finally free from the hold and after coming out of that, he went back a few good meters.
He healed his wounds on his back and torso. The bite marks of the dragon king were clearly visible but after a few seconds, they vanished and the demon king was fine again.
The dragon king screeched in anger and some pain as he jerked his head all around to make the black sword fall off his head.
But no matter how hard he tried, the sword remained stern. It was deep inside the dragon's head.
The Demon King laughed seeing the futile and angry attempts of the dragon.
But he knew that sword was only able to irritate the dragon king, it wasn't enough to kill him.
So Dravakos reached out his hand towards his sword and called:
"Come here, Wail."
Wail vibrated and with a few more screeches of the dragon king, it came out of El'Dorado's head.
Wail landed on Dravakos' right hand and Pablo noticed that there were no signs of blood on the sword.
Is it because the dragon king is already dead that's why the sword got no blood on it? It went pretty deep inside the dragon's head after all.
Pablo put the thought at the back of his mind as no matter whether there was blood or not, the sword had hurt the dragon king and that's what matters.
After Wail came out of the dragon king's head, the dragon king also healed himself just like Dravakos.
He was fine now and the smirk of Dravakos sent anger down to his spine.
"I have to fight you in a different form, Demon. You won't understand any other way." El'Dorado said and muttered something under his breath.
The dragon king belonged to ancient times and Pablo knew there were some spells in ancient tongue that could do magic type shit.
As the dragon king muttered, all his hundred clones stopped fighting and went still.
The demon king didn't understand what was going on until it happened.
All the dragons present in the sky glowed in golden light and as the light faded, all of them had changed their forms.
Now all of them were different from before.
They weren't dragons anymore.
Now they had hands, legs. They had become humanoid dragons.
Black scales were all over their bodies, they had their wings and tails but now they didn't have their humongous size anymore.
Sunlight finally fell on the Crucible as everyone was finally able to see their surroundings clearly but no one cared about that, all of them wanted to see the next thing.
"You are not the only one with a weapon, Demon." El'Dorado said and closed his eyes.
His lips moved and the next second, a machete type thing manifested on the right hand of the dragon king.
"I call it Widow."
Widow, the dragon king's weapon was totally crimson and before anyone could think of something, the dragon king breathed on his weapon.
And the breath of the dragon king wasn't just a simple breath. The dragon king breathes fire.
Therefore, his weapon, Widow, caught fire as it lit up in black flames.
"Now it's ready."
El'Dorado swung it down and a gust of wind along with black flames shot towards Dravakos in a half-curve.
Drvakos dodged it by simply leaning to the side and nodded.
"I couldn't expect any less from you. Good work." He said and took a stance, holding his Wail by both hands.
The dragon king did the same and like that…
Round Two Began.
