Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 518: The Angel That Shouldn’t Rise

No one knew that Hena was an Elf.

But now, everyone knows.

Though, the soldiers of Forza kingdom couldn't give a fuck as they were in no position to worry about someone's race.

Nevertheless, Hena was scared as she had heard about men being an hungry animal in front of a woman and if a woman is as pretty as her, she knew the men would kill each other to have her all for themselves.

But Pablo's hand on her shoulder gave her all the courage she needed. And his words, his words made her let go of her fear of her identity.

Burn your cloak and your bloodline shall radiate your glory.

Of course, she didn't have that great of a bloodline. She was a slave, sold by her own father for some money to drown himself in alcohol for a week.

But she shall make sure that Pablo doesn't think that his words had fallen on deaf ears. She heard him and she will act like she heard him loud and clear.

She tied her hairs to her back and now both her pointy ears were visible to everyone.

No one from Forza paid attention to that and the people watching on the screens were a little surprised but they were eager to see the end of the war.

John Elia, though, had become the most excited person on the battlefield, hidden around dead bodies. He felt like he found some kind of plot reveal and he wrote with more vigor.

Olorin Dawnstar and some other Elves from his army showed some kind of reaction but after a while they too became nonchalant about it.

So what Pablo had an elf with him? She was just a girl and the fact that she was out here all the way from the Arcane kingdom meant that she was a slave.

Pablo Castillo brought a slave for himself.

The King of Elves instantly figured it out as the Arcane kingdom, the kingdom of Elves, was very far from Forza. If an elf was here then that only meant she was brought here.

Olorin watched Pablo with newfound disdain. He had heard about this man but he didn't know he was evil enough to be also involved in slavery.

Of course, Olorin knew nothing about the truth as Pablo saved the elf girl by taking her with him.

Nevertheless, Pablo was in no need of taking validation from a beautiful flowery man so he said nothing and Hena stood beside him with no fear.

All of them watched the elf in white robe muttering in the ancient language and Malvador, with his arms spread, remained silent.

After a while, wind hummed around Malvador as it caressed him like a mother.

The Crucible was not part of nature so wind was foreign to it. So that only meant, the Elf in the robe made the wind blow.

Before everyone knew it, the wind carried the Vampire king in its arms as the man hovered like an Angel going back to the Gods.

His arms remained spread, his eyes stayed shut as he hovered in the air.

Pablo and the others watched the Vampire with curious gazes but Pablo felt the danger was around the corner. No, not around the corner, the danger was already here they just didn't know yet. In fact, they might be standing in danger right now.

But since Pablo had said that he wanted to see the surprise Malvador was talking about, he would let all of that appear. He won't like more unexpected guests after they somehow managed to kill all the elves. So, he shall see everything Malvador had to offer.

The Vampire King remained in the air, his closed eyes not allowing him to look down on everyone else.

Pablo wondered what would happen or just this was Malvador's surprise that he could float in the air.

He would have wondered more if not for the Elf in robe to suddenly increase the crescendo of his mutterings, like singing a forgotten song, like crying to the dead.

As his mutterings became louder and louder, all the soldiers of the Forza kingdom were forced to look below their feet.

The reason being…

SHRILL!

The Crucible lit up.

From the ground itself, red light shone out traveling towards the sky.

Pablo and the others turned vigilant. The red light came out from under the ground and Pablo had become sure that the dead dragon King was coming out. El'Dorado was being summoned and it was hearing the Elf in the robe.

Shall I kill him?

Pablo thought of killing the elf in the robe, thinking his death would stop the red light. Then he shook his head.

Since when did I begin asking before murdering.

Pablo raised Colt and aimed at the elderly Elf. Then, waiting for nothing, he aimed and threw Colt right at the Elf in the robe.

Colt sliced through air, shimmering with a black glint of the abyss as it reached the Elf in no time.

But…

Of course it couldn't have been that easy.

His Colt was stopped.

Olorin, the King of the Elves, held Colt's blade with his right hand, stopping it just enough to not let it touch the Elf in the robe.

Pablo and the king locked eyes and Olorin with a grunt…

SWISH!

Threw Colt back to Pablo.

Pablo caught it with ease and he figured the elf in the robe wouldn't die until Malvador was done with his shit. Of course, Pablo could just attack the Elves but he only had a hundred soldiers so if the war really broke out, only Pablo and Harlia might stay alive from Forza.

Therefore, Pablo waited and watched things happen.

The Crucible hummed blood red as light seeped out from the whole ground and after the red light, something else surfaced.

On the whole Crucible's land, something made its appearance.

Everyone watched beneath their feet and they were standing on some kind of symbols.

And it took them not long to figure out what it was.

A ritual was taking place.
