Chapter 493: A Clean Sword Doesn’t Belong to War
Malvador was killing the soldiers of Forza's army left and right.
Pablo would have jumped in to stop the Vampire king but he believed the latter would run away again.
Malvador ate the hearts of the soldiers he killed and he wouldn't fight Pablo until he was satisfied with the hearts.
The rain was still on, the misty and grounded smell lingered around the Crucible but it would soon be replaced by the stench of blood.
Since Pablo couldn't jump in to stop Malvador, Pablo used the very thing he didn't wanted to use this soon.
"Admiral. It's time to have your revenge."
He asked Harlia to fight Malvador.
The Vampire king had threatened to rape Harlia and a proud woman like her, she won't let this slide.
She was waiting to kill Corrosive, the Cannibal King, so that after him, she could go and slay Malvador.
But after hearing Pablo, she found her wait to be over.
Though, she still had a question. "What about Corrosive then?"
"Leave him to me." Pablo answered.
Harlia smiled. "Then have your way."
She now had no worries and scanned the Crucible to find the Vampire King.
She found him in no time and dashed towards him.
But someone else found Malvador in front of him, instead of Harlia.
"What's up, Vampire?" Diablo greeted.
The ninth Marshal found the Vampire King.
Malvador had come to him himself.
Diablo eyed the man. "I don't want to fight you but you are already here and I am not a fan of dying."
Malvador shrugged. "But you'll die anyway."
Diablo smiled. "I don't think so."
Malvador raised his sword.
But Diablo needed nothing to raise.
"Magma Cremation." He said and in front of everyone's eyes, red hot lava came out of the Crucible, piercing the ashes from the spot where Malvador stood.
Malvador swung his sword, Gemini, at Diablo but it was too late.
"The magma waits for no one, blood hound."
The magma covered Malvador from head to toe and Diablo waited for nothing and jumped back.
"He won't die just by that, Commander. I only did that to run away."
Diablo went far away from Malvador and killed other soldiers.
Harlia laughed. "I thought you would want to kill him yourself."
"I prefer a suicide without any pain."
Harlia laughed again and finally reached in front of Malvador.
"I'll take it from here. You can go." She said.
Diablo replied nothing and carried on burning the enemy soldiers.
Pablo heard both of them talking and he let them be. It was time for him to do something that he had said to do. He always keeps his word, after all.
"Draxus, where is the Cannibal king?"
"How should I tell you the directions, Czar. I don't even know where you are."
"Just give me some signal, throw something in the air around Corrosive and I will see it."
"As you say."
Pablo kept his eyes on the sky and while he watched, he killed some enemies.
Some Cannibals pounced on him from all sides and Pablo, while watching the air, swung in a circle with Colt.
All the Cannibals died and the blood got washed by the rain.
I understand Malvador's words. A clean sword isn't suited in a War.
The rain would last one hour and there was nothing Pablo could do about it. He had no choice but to wait and stay wet.
He was glad that they weren't fighting in some other type of ground as the land would have become mud and he doesn't like muddy shoes.
He focused all around the sky, waiting to see Draxus' signal.
And then, a dead enemy soldier was thrown upwards, in the sky. He was thrown pretty high.
He knew it was an enemy soldier because the man wore brown armor. The brown armor belonged to the Cannibals and the red armor was of the Vampires.
The soldiers of Forza had black armor. Such diversity helped everyone to recognise who's who.
Pablo believed the thrown soldier in the sky was Draxus' signal but he still decided to confirm it.
"Was that your signal, Draxus?" He asked.
"Signal? I haven't reached Corrosive yet, Czar. There are five Vampires that are keeping me…" Draxus paused and then after a second, he added. "Engage."
Pablo frowned. "Then who the fuck threw a Cannibal in the air?"
"Hahaha! It was me!" A laughter fell on everyone's ears.
Pablo knew that voice. "Boulder?"
"It is I. Yes." Boulder replied. The high duke of the King. Probably the strongest man in the whole Forza kingdom when it came to raw strength.
"Why did you throw him like that?" Pablo asked.
"Hahaha. First of all, Commander. I am offended that you thought that puny friend of yours could make someone fly that high. You should have figured it was me at first glance."
Pablo sighed. "I mean, I told Draxus to send something in the sky when he sees Corrosive. So of course I will think it was Draxus who threw that soldier. The only thing you did was to confuse me. Don't throw anyone until Draxus throws something as a signal to me."
"But I threw someone to give you the signal, Commander." Boulder said and Pablo raised his brows.
"What do you mean?"
Boulder smiled. "Corrosive is in front of me. That's what I mean."
"Good work then. Stay there. I am coming for his head." Pablo walked towards the direction he saw the corpse flying.
"Can't promise that. I might kill him myself."
"I don't mind. But if I arrived there and found him alive, then you shall leave."
"That I can do."
"That's enough then."
Pablo and Boulder stop talking.
Slashing the heads, Pablo dashed towards the direction of Corrosive.
No one was left alive in Pablo's way and he wasn't even using Harlia's Ego yet. Only his Colt was doing the work.
But along the way he also saw dead bodies of soldiers wearing the Demonite armor. He never assumed that his side wouldn't suffer deaths so it didn't bother him that much. But he had seen that each soldier of Forza died while taking at least one enemy soldier with them.
Nevertheless, Pablo would end the story of one side in a few seconds.
He would kill the Cannibal king and the domino of the Cannibals would come crumbling down on its own.
