Criminal X : Epitome Of Evil

Chapter 392: Tell Me Your Weaknesses. Or Else, I Won't Let You Become Mine

Pablo said he was the most Human of all the humans.

For him, the humans were evil and those who were kind weren't humans at all. They could be animals, insects, God but not Humans.

Cupid heard Pablo's views and she just drew a tired breath.

"Your mind is twisted. I hope I could have changed you. And Flashy said sorry too. So that ends everything."

'He said sorry like it meant something. I nodded like it didn't.'

"I have no idea what you mean by that."

'Shut up.'

Cupid expected that so she stopped talking even before Pablo could have said that.

Flashy had taken out one piece from the box and after him more soldiers did the same.

Now only one soldier was left and he came forward right away.

The soldier was none other than Draxus as after taking a single piece he inspected it right there and raised his head at Pablo.

"This goes in the ear, czar?" He asked.

Pablo's lips curled up.

"Join the soldiers, you big brain bastard. I will tell everyone everything later."

Draxus nodded and went back among the soldiers.

Now all the soldiers had taken one-one piece.

Pablo shifted his gaze at Gerald. "You are no exception, old man. Come and take it."

"Oh. I am supposed to take one too?"

"You are also part of the mission. Of course you have to take one too. Now I know where Flashy's intelligence comes from."

Gerald scratched his head, laughing a little.

Pablo shared a laugh too but only these two people laughed.

The other soldiers remained silent. Not even a snicker came out.

They had already learned the lesson, they won't make the same mistake twice even if Flashy said it was okay to laugh.

Pablo couldn't care less about that though.

He only focuses on the next things as Gerald came and did what the other soldiers did.

After that, everyone standing on the ground in front of Pablo got one item each.

But they weren't everyone.

Pablo looked over his shoulder, eight people standing behind him.

"You too. Come and take one each."

"Yes."

The eight slaves nodded and with no intentions of making Pablo wait, all of them went to take the item at once.

After that, they went to stand where they were standing before and Pablo peeked inside the red box.

Only one item was left and he reached out his hand, taking it.

That was for him anyway.

He stored it inside his bracelet and finally, he could focus on the important steps.

"Destroy this box. Anyone who can do that, do it. Right now!" He ordered.

One soldier raised his hand.

Pablo clicked his tongue.

"This is not a school, Theo. If you can destroy it then do it. Keep asking for permission every time and you will see how meaningless you are."

The soldier dropped back his hand and stretched out his palm.

He was standing on the second row behind another soldier but his palm was targeted towards the red box.

Pablo watched the soldier and he was quite curious about what he would do.

He had read the files of each soldier, he knew their names, their age and most of all he also knew their Egoes.

But he only knew their Egoes, not how they were used.

Theo's palm stayed stretched and before Pablo could lose patience, the palm emanated a purple glow and from the center of it…

SHOOO!

Something shot out.

It covered the whole red box and Pablo figured it was something slimy, something thick and transparent.

The red box was inside that shit and Pablo almost asked what was going on until…

GOOP!

The red box vanished.

Along with the slime.

There was nothing on the ground anymore as if there was nothing in the first place.

Pablo eyed the soldier Theo.

"Your Ego is Acid. That I know. But what happened just now?"

Theo bowed. "My acid covers the thing I want and then it destroys it from existence itself. For example, the red box that was just here… the universe forgot it. It never existed in this plane of reality."

Pablo raised his brows. "That's impressive. So you can vanish anything. Can it work on people too? Can it work on me?"

"It can, yes. But it will require insane focus, stamina, and strength as my body can't produce limitless acid. There are some conditions that I have to keep in mind."

Pablo nodded and then he placed his index finger in front of his lips.

The soldiers got the sign and went shush. Pin drop silence was given to Pablo.

Pablo liked that and took a deep breath.

"And that's why," He spoke. "You all will submit everything about your Egoes. Down to the last minute details. I want to know everything about your powers and shortcomings."

Murmurs spread around and Pablo raised his hand before they could escalate.

"I know everyone is pretty private and typical about their Egoes. You all surely must not be comfortable sharing it with me. I understand. I understand it fully well. That's why… I don't give a fuck."

The soldiers gasped.

Pablo carried on.

"You all are going with me. You all are under me. This is the mission for the kingdom. The Admiral had ordered me to do it with all of you and I would make sure to get absolute victory in this mission. For that, I need to know everything I have at my disposal. Including you all.

Just like Theo told me the limitations of his Ego, I want all of yours too. Write everything about it in paper, or in a book, I don't care. I just want it. And those who don't agree with me in this, will be the first one to die in this mission… or even before it starts."

Pablo locked eyes with each soldier present below the stage and the soldiers only saw an unfiltered raw determination in his eyes.

Their Marshal, Pablo, wanted the details of their Egoes—the power that shouldn't be shared with anyone in full details ever and yet, Pablo demanded it like it was him who bestowed them these powers.

Right now, Pablo Castillo acted like…

The owner of the military itself.
