Creation and Beginning

Chapter 6: Act VI: The Materialization(Updated)

"And you? Who are you?"

"I... I don't know," said Matter, still touching the strange object that he could actually feel.

"What is that?" asked Dimension, noticing that Matter was interacting with something.

"What are you touching? And how can you even touch it?"

"I don't know... When I appeared here, it was already there," he said, removing his hand from the object.

Suddenly—

'ZZZZZZZZZZ'

More of the objects began to appear.

"Uh, what's happening?" asked Void, unsure of what to say in the face of what was unfolding before him.

"I don't know, but maybe we can touch it?" suggested Infinity, addressing the being whose name they still didn't know.

"...What?" the being asked, confused.

"Can we touch it?" Dimension asked again.

"I... I think so?" Matter replied, uncertain.

"And what is it?" Dimension pressed.

"I think it's... matter?" Matter answered, still pondering what matter actually was.

""But what is matter? And why can I touch it? What is it, really?""

""Is it something tangible? Something you can create with?""

""I... I don't know,"" Matter admitted.

""But why? Is matter something that creates?""

""Yes! But why do I feel connected to it, as if it came from me?""

""Am I creating it? Am I matter?""

""Yes, I am Matter!.""

Suddenly, a vortex of the objects began forming around Matter, and even more of them appeared.

'ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'

'Boom!'

"What was that?" asked Dimension.

"I think he just figured out his name," said Infinity confidently.

"You're right," Void agreed, stunned by what he was witnessing.

"So, what have you discovered?" Dimension asked.

"I am Matter, and I control and create matter," he replied.

"But what is matter?" asked Infinity.

"It's what you see and can touch," Matter explained, pointing to the objects orbiting around him.

"I can use it to create," he added.

"Create what?" they asked.

"...I don't know yet," Matter admitted, unsure of what to make.

"Maybe I'll think about it someday," he said to them.

"So, who are we?" he asked.

"We don't know," they replied.

"We just woke up, like you, and over time we learned a bit about ourselves. You're the youngest, and Infinity is the oldest," Void explained, looking at Matter and telling him about their group.

"So, we don't know who we are or why we woke up, right?" Matter asked, glancing at Infinity.

"That's right," Infinity confirmed.

"In that case, goodbye," said Matter, disappearing before their eyes.

"Wait!" Infinity shouted, following him.

Void and Dimension followed as well.

-A moment later-

"What do you want? Leave me alone," Matter said irritably.

"Why are you leaving?" Infinity asked.

"Why should we stay together? I doubt you'll learn anything anytime soon," Matter replied, his frustration evident.

"But why?" Infinity pressed, hoping to understand his reasoning, as he believed they could learn much together.

"What's the point? I want to be alone," Matter said, feeling an inexplicable desire for solitude.

"You're annoying me," he said, vanishing into the void of space.

"Hmph, strange," said Infinity.

"We could have learned so much from him and his power," he added, disappointed by Matter's response and actions.

"There's nothing we can do. That's just who he is. Even though we don't know him well, I have a feeling we'll talk to him again many times," Dimension said confidently.

"Dimension is right," Void agreed.

"In that case, let's go back to studying energy and see what we can do with it," Infinity said, looking at the material objects Matter had left behind.

"Maybe we can do something with these?" he suggested, pointing to the material objects.

"You might be right," Void said, drawing the objects closer using energy.

"Let's try," Dimension said.

"Give them to me," he requested.

"Alright," they replied.

Using energy, Dimension began shaping smaller objects into a larger, more massive one.

"This is probably the best I can do," he said, disappointed.

"Maybe we're not limited to shaping matter," Infinity suggested.

"What do you mean?" they asked.

"Maybe we can shape energy itself, giving it a permanent form," Infinity proposed, coming up with an idea that could lead to something new.

"What do you mean?" they asked again.

"This," he said, forming a sphere of energy in one spot and trying to compress it.

"I think I need help," Infinity admitted as he struggled to shape it further.

"Alright," they agreed.

With their help, the sphere became larger, denser, and stable.

"I think we can stop now," Infinity said, looking at them.

"It seems stable," Void observed.

"Alright," they agreed.

When they stopped controlling the energy, the sphere remained in its stable state.

However, something unexpected happened—the sphere began to emit heat.
