CRASHING INTO A LEGEND

Chapter 12: CHAPTER 12

Heaven broke free and glanced at the three men, who vanished from sight in an instant. She looked around at the students, knowing she had to wipe away their memories. Raising her hand, a magic ball appeared and slowly spread across the area, erasing everyone's recollection of the moment.

Audre, who had been watching from a distance, grew more convinced that this person was indeed Heaven, not the person she claimed to be. Those three men were the ones who had come searching for Heaven, and now they were fighting her.

Heaven returned to the villa, where she found Amaia. A questioning look appeared on Amaia's face, and she quickly got up to explain the situation. "I couldn't find the seer. It seemed like he was deliberately hiding from me. I should have stayed back to find him, but Mora's men discovered me. I had to escape on time to prevent being seen."

Heaven frowned, concerned. "They must have noticed something. Mora's men came to challenge me at school today. They thought it was you, but I don't think they'll still think that."

Karl called out, falling to his knees. "Your Majesty, Her Highness's men went to His Majesty's house last night."

Heaven and Amaia exchanged a surprised glance. "His Majesty?" they asked in unison, their eyes widening. Why would Karl refer to Audre as His Majesty?

Karl continued, oblivious to their thoughts. "Yes, but he didn't allow them in. Earlier today, the three men suddenly appeared a few houses away."

Heaven and Amaia frowned deeply. "They sure have some guts," Amaia gritted.

"When they came to school today, we had to fight them with magic," Heaven said.

"In school?" Amaia asked.

Heaven shrugged. "Your Majesty, what should we do now?" Karl asked.

Heaven's expression turned cold, a hint of killing intent in her voice. "As they bring it, we give them back."

The three men bowed before Mora and Kelv. "Where is she?" Mora asked.

"Your Majesty, we haven't found her yet," one of them replied.

Kelv's eyes darkened. "How long will it take you?"

The men pleaded for mercy, but Kelv's expression remained unyielding. "Get her here before dusk."

....

The next day, Heaven, still disguised as Amaia, arrived at school. She met Audre, who asked, "You're Heaven's friend, ain't you?"

Heaven nodded, trying to appear nonchalant. "Yeah, so what's up?"

Audre's eyes narrowed. "You must know her new place, right?"

Heaven's expression remained neutral. "I don't."

Audre's eyes flickered, and he reached out, grabbing Heaven's arm. As soon as their skin touched, he felt the familiar electricity sparks.

Heaven quickly withdrew her hand, her eyes flashing with warning.

"Please," Audre said, but Heaven shook her head.

"I'm sorry, I don't," she repeated, turning to leave as if escaping as her heart almost jumped out of her chest.

Audre watched her go, his mind racing with questions.

...

As the school bell rang, Audre waited patiently for Heaven to leave the school. He followed her at a distance, his eyes fixed on her back.

Heaven stopped walking and turned around, sensing someone following her. "Come out," she said.

Audre stopped, and two of the three men appeared. Heaven smirked. "Ain't you guys gonna stop pestering me?"

"We told you, it's either you force fully tell us where she is or willingly"

Heaven's expression turned cold, and with a wave of her hand, the men disappeared.

Audre breathed a sigh of relief, but the third man appeared, grabbing his shoulder. "What do you want?" Audre asked.

The man didn't respond, and they both disappeared.

...

Belinda and Cole grew worried when Audre didn't answer his phone. "Where could he be?" Cole asked.

Belinda tried calling him again. "What do we do now? He isn't answering the phone."

Cole made a quick call to the search team. "Get the search team, find my son."

....

Karl rushed to Heaven, bowing. "Your Majesty, His Majesty has been taken by Her Highness's men."

Heaven's face darkened. "Audre has been taken by Amora."

Amaia cursed. "What do we do?"

Heaven got up abruptly. "I need to head somewhere now."

....

Heaven appeared at Audre's house, knocking on the door. Belinda opened it, expecting to see Audre, but her expression changed when she saw Heaven. "Oh, it's you."

"Can I come in? It's urgent," Heaven said.

Belinda opened the door wider, allowing Heaven to enter. Cole looked at her, surprised. "Heaven? Why're you here? I thought you were gone."

Heaven got straight to the point. "Audre has been taken."

Belinda's eyes widened. "By who?"

"They took him to get to me, but don't worry, I'll bring him back. I just wanted to tell you so you wouldn't worry too much," Heaven said.

Tears began to fall from Belinda's eyes. "Please bring him back," she pleaded, holding Heaven's hand.

Heaven placed her second hand on Belinda's and absorbed her sad emotion. "It's okay, I'll surely do," Heaven said, and Belinda nodded.

Just then, a knock came at the door. Heaven stood up to answer it, revealing the two men who had been searching for her. "Your Majesty, we're here to get you," they said.

Heaven frowned. "And what if I say I'm not going?"

The men threatened to harm Audre if Heaven didn't cooperate. Heaven clenched her fist, knowing Mora was capable of worse.

Audre and the third man appeared in the fairy kingdom. Audre was amazed by the beauty and magic surrounding him, but he couldn't admire it. He knew this was where Heaven came from.

The man took him to the throne room, where Mora and Kelv waited. "Your Majesties, he's here," the man said, bowing.

Audre looked at Mora and Kelv, his eyes cold. "Don't you have manners? Bow down," the man said, almost hitting Audre.

Mora intervened, flying over to Audre. "You're quite handsome. I wonder how it'll feel when my sister is killed by you, a mere and powerless human," she said, laughing evilly.

"Get him a room, make sure he's well fed. We'll need him for the execution of the former fairy queen," Mora ordered.

The man bowed and pulled Audre away, leaving him to wonder what lay ahead.
