Courting Death System

Somewhere in Lumina, deep in the mountains where Magical Beasts resided, a couple had taken this place for themselves. They had created a man-made cave and decorated it with all kinds of beautiful stuff. The man had chocolate brown skin and was very tall and muscular, his body shone in a metallic lustre. He was sitting cross legged with different metals around him. 

The wife also had dark skin but much lighter shade when compared to her husband, she was a yellow bone. Beautiful and voluptuous. The couple was using beast skin as their clothes and the wife held a basket full of fruits. 

"Titus, it's been more than six months since we've been here, aren't you worried about our kids?" asked Mbali.

"No Mbali, I'm not worried about them. Those guys are adults now, why do you keep calling them children? Of those alive, I think their eldest brother has the highest chances of being alive. As for Lucius, he probably died a long time ago, after all, the Incident happened on the same day he bought the game pod. And we wasted too much time on that stupid game called Legends Of Mythical Warriors. By the time he played System Online, all OP systems one could think of were already taken. 

The only person with higher survival chances is Dineo but I don't think she'll make it. Her innate ability is very weak and useless in this world. It's only us with the highest survival chances. When an Otaku and nerd join hands, they become unstoppable." said Titus calmly. 

"Keep bragging! I'm the smart one in this group. I've deduced that your assumptions may be about eighty percent correct. Their eldest brother with his system is probably the only person of the three alive. I also think it's time we leave this place, your Five Elements Chaotic Body will no longer improve if we continue staying here. You need to upgrade your system as soon as possible so let's finish your System Mission quickly!" said Mbali. 

She had the Calculative Mind System which allowed her to calculate almost anything, even from nothing. She could even calculate possible future events while on the other hand, Titus had the Five Elements Chaotic Body System which gave him great affinity with the five elements with Lightening being the fifth element. To improve both the system and himself, he had to devour minerals and materials strictly corresponding to his elements. In exchange, his physique became stronger and his affinity increased.

In another unknown location in Lumina, a young man of about twenty three years of age, sat atop a pile of corpses while munching on one of them. These corpses had one thing in common, all of them had very high physical defences. His body was very huge and bulky like a professional bodybuilder. 

This was Lucius's eldest brother and he had the Bodybuilder Supplement System which uses physically strong magical beasts as supplements for his body to grow bigger and stronger. But he could only grow stronger by eating these strong beasts, anything else wouldn't strengthen him but also make him weaker.

In another location in Lumina, this one being a Danger Zone because of its high mortality rate. Deep within this place was a bone castle and deep inside this castle was a throne room. A skeleton with a crown sat calmly on his skeleton throne. The place was filled with all kinds of skeletal beings, both beastly and humanoid skeletons. 

Beside the throne was another skeletal being but this skeleton looked extremely weak. Even though it looked weak, it still had a place as the Lich King's right hand which showed that it was capable and powerful to have such status within the Lich Army. If Lucius's family was here then they'd easily identify this seemingly weak skeleton beside Lich King as their daughter or as their sister, Dineo. 

[Continue to expand! I'll destroy everything that stands in our way! She will help me take over this world, kakaka!] said the Lich King while pointing at the weak female skeleton if skeletons had gender. And the Lich King wasn't just speaking casually but from experience.

Lucius felt himself coursing with power the likes of which he'd never felt before. He felt alive and ambition slowly filled his heart. Father James was confused about what was going on, why the statue broke and why Lucius had suddenly become so powerful, his aura suffocating and heavy as if being drowned in the ocean depths. 

The lense at which Lucius saw the world through shattered and instead a much much better one replaced it. Lucius looked around with wonder and amazement, like a baby who was eating anything other than baby food for the first time, everything felt magical. 

"What did you do?! What did you do to the Holy Mother?! Why are you suddenly so strong?! Answer me!"

Father James dragged Lucius out of his trance because he was truly confused and wanted answers. Answers that would make this whole situation make sense. Lucius then looked at the remaining survivors who didn't seem to be in great condition. They made eye contact with Lucius but that seemed to be a big mistake. 

They felt a pain unlike anything they'd felt before, even more died while a few that survived wiggled on the floor while clutching their heads screaming, "It Hurts!"Only Father James wasn't affected by Lucius's attack as he wasn't even focussed on the guy. Lucius also didn't focus his attention on them but on what appeared above their heads. 

"So these are their levels. So after levelling up, I've gained the ability to see other levels. Amazing! Everything is amazing! I wonder if I can see the levels of those stronger than me." said Lucius was looking at everyone's level. 

All of them were either at Lvl 13 or below it with the only exception being Father James. The old geezer had reached an astounding Lvl 18 and Lucius's level was double that of the old geezer. 

Lucius didn't bother with the others, he moved at extreme speeds and appeared in front of Father James who seemed to have gone crazy. 

"Old virgin geezer, this is all thanks to you. Without your help and efforts, I wouldn't have been able to reach my current heights. You really helped me big time so thank you." Well Lucius wasn't wrong. He'd only gotten his current strength due to being killed by the old man. To reach Lvl 36, Father James played a vital role to help him.

Yes, Lucius was currently Lvl 36, the strongest person in the city and the only person in history to jump by so many levels after dying once. He literally went from zero to hero. 

"Old man. Thank you for those assassination attempts, they changed my life for the better." said Lucius as he tried to hold the old man's head but he couldn't control his strength and ended up crushing the old man's head like a watermelon.
