Corporate Villainy: Trampling Protagonists as a Business Dad

Chapter 78: Olivia's Intuition

Vincent got out of the car and headed straight towards Olivia's office. He never expected something like this from Olivia. But it only made him more curious.

He took the private elevator directly to Olivia's floor. As he reached her office, he stepped inside without knocking. Olivia looked up, startled and annoyed that someone had entered without permission. But when she saw Vincent, she froze for a moment, then quickly buried her face back in her work without saying anything.

She tried to read the documents on her desk, but her mind kept wandering. A few seconds later, she couldn't help but steal a glance at him. Their eyes met, and she saw his amused expression before quickly looking down again. She tried to ignore him, but a small pout formed on her lips.

Seeing Olivia's failed attempt to ignore him while still sneaking looks made Vincent want to smile. But he held back, not wanting to hurt her pride. Here was this brilliant, capable woman who commanded respect throughout the company, acting like a sulking child because he'd been away for one night. He found himself genuinely charmed by her transparent attempt to ignore him while simultaneously seeking his attention.

He slowly walked toward her desk. Her grip on her pen tightened as she buried herself deeper in the papers she could no longer focus on. The papers she was supposedly reading might as well have been blank for all the attention she was actually paying them.

When Vincent finally reached her chair, he leaned down close enough that his breath tickled her ear. "Are you angry because I didn't come home last night?" His voice was low, intimate, as he gently brushed a strand of her silky hair behind her ear.

The small contact made her entire body tense, and though she tried to remain silent, he caught the soft 'humph' that escaped her lips. Even her stubborn silence was adorable.

"I was dealing with urgent business matters last night. That's why I couldn't make it home to you," he explained, already guessing what had upset her so much.

"You... didn't have any meetings planned though..." she whispered.

"It was sudden. It got late, so I didn't call you." Vincent smiled, but his thoughts raced. Did one of his bodyguards say something? No, that was impossible. His men were completely loyal.

Olivia suddenly looked up at him, her eyes filling with tears. "You're cheating on us, aren't you? I... I'm going to tell Helena." Her tears started flowing as she stood up with determination, heading for the door.

A strong hand pulled her back before she could reach it.

Vincent locked her in his arms. "Are you doubting me? Don't you trust me?" Though he spoke calmly, a chill ran down his spine. Why is this woman's intuition so sharp? For the first time, he regretted how perceptive Olivia could be.

Olivia struggled against his hold, her sobs growing louder with each passing second. It was clear she wasn't buying his explanation, but Vincent couldn't afford to let her leave - not in this state. He knew exactly what would happen if she reached Helena with these suspicions. His other lover's possessive nature would explode like a volcano, and Then he'd have to spend all night reassuring her for the next few days - time he didn't have right now.

Well. No choice left.

Vincent lifted her chin, forcing her to look at him. Her face was streaked with tears, cheeks flushed red, eyes swollen and glistening. The sight of her crying because of him stirred unexpected guilt in his chest. Without giving her time to speak, he pressed his lips firmly against hers.

At first, she pushed against his chest, trying to resist. But gradually, her struggles weakened. Her lips softened under his, and soon she was kissing him back with desperate hunger. Her small hands clutched his shirt as if afraid he might disappear. Even through her tears, her silent yet possessive nature showed - she bit his lower lip gently, claiming him as hers.

When he finally broke the kiss, she was breathing heavily, but he didn't let her go. She had stopped crying, looking up at him with hopeful eyes, clearly waiting for an explanation.

Vincent didn't give her words right away. Instead, he took a moment to observe her, noting how her hands continued their restless movement across his chest and shoulders. Her hot breathes hadn't quite returned to normal, and when she pressed closer, he could feel her taking in his scent like she was trying to memorize it. Her eyes, still slightly hazy from their kiss, remained locked on his face with an intensity that made his pulse quicken.

He'd be foolish not to understand what all these signs meant.

Well... looks like this conversation will have to wait.

In one smooth motion, Vincent lifted Olivia and placed her on the edge of her desk, scattering papers to the floor. She gasped softly, her hands instinctively gripping his shoulders for balance.

"Vincent..." His name fell from her lips in a breathless whisper that held equal parts uncertainty and desire.

He stepped closer, trapping her between his body and the desk. His hands found her waist as he leaned down to kiss her neck. She tilted her head back, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

"You're not going anywhere until I'm done with you," he murmured against her skin.

Olivia's cheeks burned red, but her arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer. "Here? In the office?" she asked, though her body was already responding to his touch.

"Right here," he confirmed, his voice low and commanding. "Let me show you exactly who I belong to."

His fingers found the top button of her blouse, pausing just long enough to meet her eyes before he started unbuttoning it letting her silky white bra show.

Olivia's cheeks flushed a deeper shade of red, but her arms wound around his neck, pulling him closer rather than pushing him away. Her initial protests dissolved into soft moans of pleasure as his hands began squeezing and playing with her breasts, and she knew that she would have to postpone that explanation for later.
