Combat Maid Harem

Chapter 892: Gods From The Spirit World

Ever since the avatar of the Spirit World absorbed a part of Lawrend's soul because of the soul contract, it had never been the same.

As it stared at Lawrend, it realized how unrefined his words had become. In its mind, honorable beings have refined words. The realization that he had been swindled echoed strongly within its mind.

"There are no single way to approach things. You need to expand your worldview. I'm sure you know that since many Gods have appeared in this world."

According to Reavire, many gods had appeared in the Spirit World and left.

Lawrend didn't see them appear in the memories he saw from the avatar of the Spirit World. This was one of the few things he still hadn't understood.

"..."

The avatar of the Spirit World glanced at Reavire with deep meaning within its eye. It had been following the two of them before and knew that it was Reavire who found that out.

"So it's true. How did you hide it from your memories?"

"The Gods from my world requested they be hidden from history."

"Why?"

Lawrend didn't know the logic behind it. There must be a clear reason.

"It prevents other gods from appearing for a long time. Humans have a tendency to worship and build a religion around newly ascended Gods."

"I see…"

Lawrend processed the information quickly.

Since humans build religion around a God, it prevents others from trying to reach Godhood. Their beliefs would shackle them from any attempts to achieve a higher level.

"Gods from the same world share a connection once they leave the universe—I have heard."

It was the first time Lawrend had heard of it.

"I have heard the same," Reavire added.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"You created your own world. It doesn't matter to you."

"Is that how it works."

"Yes. You're on your own."

"..."

Lawrend realized why no one bothered to tell him. He had become a God using his own world. Basically, he would be lonely once he leaves the universe.

"So… they want to make friends?"

"Yes. Seven gods have appeared in my entire existence. They weren't as… talented as you, but they are still gods."

Lawrend wondered why he paused for a second there. He guessed the avatar of the Spirit World was about to say some ridiculous things to him, and it didn't make him happy.

"Really? Six left?"

"Yes. A few million years of my life was wasted after that bitch tried to kill me, but it takes a ridiculous amount of time for a god to appear."

If that goddess who tried to kill the avatar of the Spirit World left, there would have been seven gods to emerge from his world. Frankly speaking, it was an impressive number.

"I'm impressed, no."

Lawrend felt a newfound respect for this eye staring at him. No wonder he could survive for so long even after West tried to absorb his powers.

"You annoy me."

Instead of becoming happy, the avatar of the Spirit World thought Lawrend was being sarcastic about it. Since Lawrend circumvented the soul contract, everything coming out of Lawrend's mouth sounded negative.

"Hey. If you're done, go away."

Lawrend shooed the eye.

"Hmph."

Still unhappy about the result, the avatar of the Spirit World closed its eye and vanished.

Lawrend stared at the empty space for a few seconds before turning his head back to Sanaka. The poor former demon's lower half soaked in a foul-smelling yellow liquid.

If you ignored the avatar of the Spirit World's injury, there would be three gods here in front of them. A single Divine Mage could rule over them with an iron fist, not to mention three Gods.

If any of them fought, they would die without any doubt.

"Alright. Have fun to all of you. I'm going to leave the Spirit World forever," Lawrend said.

He came to a decision as soon as he saw the pee making a puddle under her boots. Lawrend had nothing else to accomplish in this world.

"Are you fine with this, Juju?" Lawrend asked.

He recalled she had two male demons running around. Lawrend could find them if he concentrated enough.

"What? I don't mind."

Juju furrowed her eyebrows and looked at him like he just asked her a strange question.

In the hierarchy of demons, males were lowly and ignored. Their only purpose was for reproduction.

"Okay."

Lawrend waved his hand and another door opened. It led to the Human World.

Unlike before, Lawrend could now freely enter the Human World without having to use the portals scattered all over the Spirit World.

"Hehe."

Reavire stepped inside first.

She was the most excited to return among all of them since she was the Goddess of the Human World.

After they stepped into the Human World, the door closed.

The familiar breeze of the environment greeted Lawrend.

"Oh, this is Master's mansion."

They stepped foot into a pavement enclosed with a garden. Before them stood a noble's mansion. It was the place Lawrend had grown up in ever since he 'reincarnated' into this world.

"Yeah. Can you all stay here for a while? I will go look for some things."

Lawrend turned to all of them, and a mysterious smile hung on his face.

"Hm? Does that include me?"

"Yes, Reavire. I need you to not use your omniscient ability to watch what I'm about to do."

"Master, what are you getting exactly?" Aleshia asked.

"I'm just going to get some milk."

"M-Milk?"

"I'm kidding. It's a joke from my old world."

Lawrend smiled as he mused to himself.

"Oh, right! Can you bring us to your world, Master?" Elena asked, her eyes shining with excitement.

"Can I do that?" Lawrend asked Reavire.

"Why are you asking me?"

"Well, don't you know where I came from?"

"Huh? No. It was the Creator who gave you to me."

"I'll try."

Lawrend closed his eyes and imagined Earth. He recalled the exact place where he died—in the maid cafe.

A few minutes later, Lawrend opened his eyes and shook his head.

"Maybe it's too far?"

"Aww…" Elena frowned.
