Coin’s Edge: Reincarnated as a Extra

Chapter 34: You pervert

Many days had passed, and Violet gradually recovered, stabilizing her emotions with Wade's help.

She accepted that her big sister was nothing more than a stranger, cruel to her now.

She respected Tenny's choice, but if she met Tenny in the future, she wasn't sure what she would do. Perhaps, just seeing Tenny again would finally make her understand what she truly wanted.

During this time, she had already paid Bam as he had originally asked.

She didn't want to owe anyone anything. Fortunately, Bam had given her something easy to fulfill.

Yet, there was still one thing she hadn't managed to accomplish.

"How could I meet him?" Violet bit her nails lightly in tension as she observed Hector from a far distance.

At the moment, she was hiding behind a section of the emerging hallway where Hector couldn't see her, though others could.

Of course, she didn't mind much.

She never paid attention to bad rumors about herself.

To her, most people were all the same.

They were jealous creatures who only cared about their own gain.

Flattery.

Hypocrisy.

...

She disgusted all of it.

Yet, she didn't realize her actions were affecting Hector negatively.

"Huh? He's trying to flirt with a girl," Violet narrowed her eyes in surprise as if she had discovered something exciting.

But just a few minutes later, she slowly curved her lips into a small smile as Hector got slapped by that girl.

As time passed, Violet gradually forgot her original purpose.

She had been completely drawn in by Hector's humorous actions.

She wanted to see more.

After all, this was the first time she had witnessed something like this.

An experience from another perspective.

"Get out of my sight, you pervert!" a young girl shouted angrily.

Then she glared at Hector aggressively before stepping back.

''L-Laydy.. I just want a date with you.'' He smiled bitterly as he looked at his girls, who were disappearing.

Then, He wandered around the hallways to a fountain, looking for a proper bench to rest his mind after a failed day.

Hector slowly sat down and leaned against the back of the bench, looking bored, scanning all the girls, who directed their uneasy eyes to him, as though he was a piece of trash, a pervert.

"W-what just happened?"

"I'm just trying to live a normal love life like everyone else…"

Hector sighed again.

"Why does everyone hate me just because I talk to them?"

"I'm… rather handsome, and I don't think I have any bad rumors."

Yet, contrary to his thoughts, most people in the academy knew about him.

They gossiped that Hector was a creepy guy who flirted with any girl he saw.

Some even claimed he had tried to flirt with Violet, a high-status member of the Big Clan.

And many other things.

Of course, Hector hadn't really noticed these rumors lately—he had been genuinely busy for the past few weeks.

He'd undergone such intense training that he barely had time for anything else until Michael told him he wouldn't be training him anymore because he was too busy.

Michael had said he would arrange another training soon.

But Hector doubted it—he had seen everything.

Michael and Wren were a couple.

And Michael had dropped out of his student duties just because of a girlfriend.

Still, it wasn't all bad. Luckily for Hector, Michael wasn't gay.

At least he could relax, knowing he was safe.

Then Hector got up to talk with the girls. He believed he needed to lower his guard about women if he wanted a wife.

"Huh…" Hector suddenly felt something at that moment.

He glanced around the long hallway where students were passing by.

"So… I can't avoid this, after all."

Hector sighed, straightened his back, and stepped away, leaving the hallway.

In the dark sky, lights shone down on the corner of a large city.

Inside a gloomy, filthy alley that had completely lost its light, a young man walked leisurely. Halfway through, he suddenly stopped and spoke evenly,

"Show yourself!"

Violet tensed at the sound.

"How could he know I'm tracking him?"

She was sure she had erased all traces of her movements. Even her smallest actions had been concealed—yet he had noticed. And he had chosen such a murky place to stop.

At this moment, she felt like the villain in a fantasy story.

"Damn it! You always make me angry!" Violet frowned. She was about to jump down from the roof beside her, but just as she thought that, several figures suddenly emerged from the darkness below—the spot she had barely noticed earlier.

One of the young men stepped forward and spoke first.

"How did you know we were following you?"

Hector looked at the group standing before him and let out a quiet sigh. The one who had spoken was Tom Wolfe, someone Hector had defeated just a few weeks ago.

"Hmm… maybe I just guessed!" Hector shrugged, glancing toward a nearby trash can.

It was obvious he was lying, but most of them bought it.

"It doesn't matter anymore!" Tom glared aggressively at Hector and spat in rage.

"It's all your fault! Because of you, I had to endure horrifying torture!"

"And now, I want you to suffer the same way!"

A few seconds later, Tom turned to his partners and barked a command.

"Surround him! Watch out for his cunning skills!"

Clearly, Tom hadn't forgotten the pressure-point technique Hector had used on him.

Moments later, Hector found himself encircled by Haley's underlings.

"Alright… 6 versus 1? Don't you guys feel ashamed?"

Hector blinked, narrowed his eyes, and moved cautiously, preparing for what was coming.

In reality, Hector had expected this. He could have escaped, but he chose not to.

Why?

Because Haley was behind all of this.

If he ran now, Haley would just send more underlings after him, making things worse. He didn't want to provoke Haley directly, so he let things unfold according to her plan.

More importantly, if he fled, Kevin certainly wouldn't give him the compensation he deserved for all the mental damage.

Escaping wasn't an option.

"Fucking fools! Get ready to witness the skills I've spent countless days perfecting."

Hector's eyes gleamed with murderous intent as he locked onto one of them and shifted into a battle stance.

"Yahhhhhh!"
