Claimed by fate

Chapter 13: Chapter 13. Convincing him

The events of the day left Scarlett unsettled, fearing the repercussions of her actions.

Her troubled facade was cracking, revealing the vulnerable, insecure individual hidden behind the mask of arrogance and entitlement.

As the day drew to a close, Scarlett's troubles only seemed to multiply, casting shadows over her seemingly opulent life.

She thought to herself "only if I could convince father to help me with my plot to overthrow these stupid twins". Behind the scenes that was her father's plan all along.

She made up her mind that no matter what she is going to convince her father to join her.

Scarlett paced the lavish corridors of the palace, her mind consumed by a whirlwind of thoughts and schemes.

Her desire for power and control overshadowed any semblance of rationality.

As the evening descended, casting elongated shadows across the opulent halls, Scarlett's inner turmoil mirrored the looming darkness.

The mask of arrogance and entitlement that she had meticulously maintained began to crumble, exposing the fragile, insecure soul beneath.

Her desperation led her to contemplate a drastic plan—a plan that involved enlisting her father's support to overthrow the absent alphas.

Her thoughts raced with strategies and manipulations she could employ to sway Alpha Washington to her side.

Deep down, Scarlett knew the risks of her impulsive intentions. Yet, blinded by ambition and driven by a hunger for supremacy, she saw no alternative path.

Her father's subtle encouragement of her desires hadn't gone unnoticed.

Alpha Washington had subtly sown seeds of dissent within Scarlett's mind, nurturing her aspirations of ascension to power.

He had his own motives, hidden within the intricate threads of his daughter's tumultuous ambitions.

Scarlett resolved to approach her father that very night,she could not wait till the next day convinced that her ambitions aligned with his.

She envisioned a future where she reigned supreme, the pack under her command, and the alphas relegated to mere memories.

In her chambers, amidst the opulent décor that echoed her lavish lifestyle, Scarlett prepared herself for the pivotal conversation with her father.

Her heart raced with anticipation, fueled by a mix of desperation and determination.

With each step towards her father's quarters, Scarlett rehearsed her arguments, masking her emotions behind a facade of confidence and authority.

As she stood before her father, Alpha Washington looked at her with an unreadable expression, sensing her urgency and fervour.

Scarlett began to articulate her intentions, carefully choosing her words to sway her father to join her in her treacherous scheme.

The conversation that ensued held the weight of the future—whether Scarlett's ambitions would align with her father's clandestine plans or if they would clash in a catastrophic showdown of power and manipulation.

The outcome of this pivotal encounter would shape the fate of the crimson.Pack and Scarlett's own destiny.

~~~
The aftermath of the twin Alphas' departure from the Blood Moon Pack and the repercussions within their absence.
With Draco and Edgar gone, the Crimson Pack faced a leadership vacuum. The absence of their alphas left a palpable void in the pack's dynamics.
The remaining pack members, especially the elders and advisors, struggled to maintain order and harmony among the werewolves.
The underground world suffered a little blow due to Alpha Draco's absence.
The decision-making process came to a standstill. Scarlett, who had been granted temporary authority in their absence, attempted to exert her influence, but her abrasive nature and selfish motives only added to the pack's growing unrest.
Meanwhile, within and outside the Crimson Pack, rumours spread about the alphas' mysterious departure. Whispers of Scarlett's involvement and her power-hungry nature
Alpha Klaus, observing the chaos ensuing from the arrival of the twin alphas, smiled. He decided not to intervene at all or give notice to the twin Alpha .
He believed that through this way his pack would amount to the strongest.
Watching from the sidelines, Alpha Draco's Beta assumed command. He called for an emergency meeting among the council members to discuss the current predicament and find a solution to restore stability to both packs.
The council, composed of seasoned werewolves and trusted advisors, gathered to deliberate on the situation. Their primary concern was maintaining the balance of power and ensuring the welfare of the packs.
During the meeting, heated discussions ensued. Some advocated for swift action to locate the missing alphas, fearing potential threats or conspiracies against the packs. Others proposed a reformation of leadership, seeking to fill the void left by Draco and Edgar's departure.
The beta remained contemplative, silently observing the varied opinions. His goal was to preserve unity among the packs without resorting to unnecessary conflict or confrontation.
He tried as much to prevent Scarlett from knowing about the meeting.
As tensions rose and debates intensified, an unexpected guest arrived—a lone rogue seeking sanctuary and guidance.
She introduced herself as Raven, a nomadic werewolf with knowledge of ancient pack customs and rituals.
Raven's arrival intrigued the council. Her presence hinted at a possible solution to the current dilemma. She offered her expertise, proposing an ancient tradition that involved a ritual to unite the packs through a symbolic union.
The council, though sceptical, listened to Raven's proposition. Her suggestion involved a symbolic ceremony that required representatives from every family in the pack to come together in a show of unity and solidarity.
The ritual aimed to bridge the divide and restore equilibrium between the crimson packs.
With the fate of the pack hanging in the balance, the council contemplated Raven's proposal, weighing the risks and potential benefits of this ancient ritual.
The decision to embark on this path held the key to restoring harmony or plunging the pack into further chaos.
But the beta did not buy the idea. He knew very well who his alphas are and he did not trust Raven. He postponed the meeting, he wondered why they didn't leave a message before their departure.
What made him confused was the members of the council's urgency to find a new alpha. Something smells fishy.
