Chat Group in Douluo: Messing with the Multiverse

Chapter 20: Nickname - Three-Seven Split

In the Chat Group.

Xiao Yan, who had been impulsively considering taking on a mission to assist, felt as if a bucket of ice-cold water had been dumped over his head when he saw Lu Xian's message.

With just six stages of Dou Qi, what was he thinking? Heading to Ye Fan's world, a place full of dangers beyond his comprehension? Forget about rescuing anyone—he'd be lucky if he didn't end up needing to be rescued himself.

In the Qin Dynasty World.

Yan Lingji stared at the chat group interface, blinking her beautiful eyes. Inside her crystal prison, her graceful figure swayed like a mermaid in water.

She glanced down at her own unclothed state, then thought about her current strength and sighed inwardly. Just like Xiao Yan, she dismissed the idea of heading to another world to take a look.

Neither Xiao Yan nor Yan Lingji had a clear understanding of the power hierarchy in the "Shrouding the Heavens" world, but one thing was obvious—

That world was far beyond their current capabilities.

In the "Jade Dynasty" World.

Lu Xueqi, however, didn't hesitate at all. She saw Lu Xian's message but didn't care—not because she was overly confident in her own strength, but simply because that was her nature.

Righteous and kind, she lived to slay demons, uphold justice, and protect the people. It was almost an obsession.

Seeing a friend in danger, she wouldn't even think twice, no matter how perilous the road ahead. She would cast aside concern for her own safety and charge forward, sword in hand!

That was just who she was—justice incarnate, our Little Naiqi!

[System Notification] Jade Dynasty World's Lu Xueqi and Douluo World's Lu Xian have accepted the group member assistance mission. Initiating cross-world teleportation.

In the Chat Group.

Xiao Yan: Lu Xian and Lu Xueqi, be careful out there. We're counting on you!

Yan Lingji: Don't go dying on us…

Tang Daxian (The Great Seer): Hahaha! What a delightful surprise! This is hilarious! That little fantasy-floor-tile of a guy actually dares to take on a mission in a world where the ceiling is made of fantasy itself? If he doesn't die, who will?

Tang Daxian: How stupid can they be?! Do they really think "Shrouding the Heavens" is just some playground? That Elder Han is at the Divine Bridge stage of the Wheel and Sea Realm! He can fly, teleport, and destroy mountains with a flick of his hand! And these two nobodies actually think they can challenge him? Whether Ye Fan lives or dies is still up in the air, but those two? They're as good as dead.

Tang Daxian: You might as well start mourning now because this group is about to lose two members. Lu Xian, you little bastard, you ruined my plans—good riddance! Pop some champagne, boys! Though it's a shame we'll lose Lu Xueqi. Such a beauty…

Tang Daxian: Xiao Yan, you better start listening to me. If you play your cards right, I might even give you some pointers and help you dominate the Dou Qi Continent. Yan Lingji, as for you, just be my woman. I'll give you wealth and power, and when I ascend to Emperor, you'll be my Empress!

Tang Daxian: Otherwise… well, let's just say you might end up like them one day. Hahaha!

Meanwhile, Somewhere in Yan Territory.

Inside a spacious stone chamber, several luminous pearls hung from the ceiling, casting a soft glow.

Bookshelves, cabinets filled with medicinal herbs, stone tables, and bronze cauldrons lined the chamber's edges. At its center sat a massive bronze cauldron, silver flames dancing beneath it, continuously feeding into its depths.

The silver flames, imbued with spiritual energy, melted herbs and condensed life essence into pills. Threads of holy radiance seeped into the cauldron as Elder Han sat in meditation beside it, guarding the process for seven days and nights.

Suddenly—

Two glowing portals materialized in the chamber. Mist swirled within them, their depths resembling the chaos of creation itself.

"Hmm?"

Elder Han's eyes snapped open, a sharp glint flashing through his aged pupils. He had inscribed countless formation patterns in this chamber—it was his private sanctuary!

And yet, someone had bypassed all those defenses and stepped directly inside!

Shocked and alarmed, his frail body shot up, twelve emerald swords emerging from his Sea of Bitterness, hovering defensively around him.

"Could it be the Jiang family? That brat mentioned having ties to them—was he telling the truth? Or did the Jiang clan come to claim him?"

For a split second, Elder Han's mind raced with possibilities. If the Jiang family had truly sent someone, that meant a powerhouse far beyond his level had arrived. He was merely a cultivator at the Wheel and Sea Realm—such an opponent was way out of his league.

The portals rippled.

From the left one, a petite figure in white stepped through, sword in hand.

From the right—

A voice echoed before its owner appeared.

"To be invincible~ oh, how lonely it is~"

"To be invincible~ oh, how empty it feels~"

Elder Han and Lu Xueqi both froze.

What was this madness?

Such arrogance!

Who dared sing about being invincible?!

A drop of cold sweat slid down Elder Han's forehead. Was this truly a powerhouse from the ancient Jiang clan? The sheer audacity—the absolute dominance in those words—

Even their clothing was bizarre!

First, a foot stepped out—a white sneaker paired with black athletic pants. Unfamiliar fabric, an entirely new style of dress.

Could this be the hidden heritage of the Jiang family? Even their clothing was beyond his understanding!

Then, a tall, handsome young man emerged from the portal, three platinum soul rings gently pulsating around him.

"Those rings… What are they? Some kind of supreme secret technique? A manifestation of divine law?"

Elder Han was both amazed and horrified.

Lu Xian swaggered forward, his first spirit ability's invincibility shield still active, scanning the room.

About ten meters ahead stood a haggard, elderly man, his twelve emerald swords floating menacingly.

To his side—a girl dressed in a conservative white robe, her long black hair tied in a simple style. Ethereal beauty mixed with youthful innocence, her cold gaze locked onto him.

She gripped a magnificent azure sword, looking like she had stepped straight out of a legend.

Lu Xian's eyes lit up. "Little Naiqi?"

Lu Xueqi blinked. "You're… Lu Xian?"

Both spoke at the same time, instantly recognizing each other.

"Don't call me Little Naiqi!" Lu Xueqi glared at him. It was bad enough when he used that nickname in the chat group—did he really have to do it in person too?

"Oh?" Lu Xian smirked. "Then should I call you Big Naiqi?"

You haven't even grown up yet! That would be a lie…

Clang!

The Tianya Divine Sword slid half an inch from its sheath, gleaming with a faint, rippling glow.

A rare blush crept onto Lu Xueqi's cold face. No one had ever teased her like this before—this guy was absolutely shameless!

She pressed a hand to her sword and glared. "One more word, and I'll cut you down!"

Lu Xian raised his hands. "Whoa, chill. We're here for cultural exchange! Don't you want to elevate your world's status?"

Meanwhile, Elder Han's face twitched.

Did these brats seriously just waltz in and start flirting in front of him?!

Lu Xian ignored Elder Han and straightened up.

"Elder Han, is it?" He lifted his chin arrogantly. "Listen up. I come from the Fengling Moonshadow Sect. My name is Lu Xian, but people call me Three-Seven Split!"

"Three-Seven Split?" Lu Xueqi raised a brow. "What does that mean?"

Lu Xian smirked. "Simple—whoever my opponent is, I only need three moves. Within seven seconds, they'll be blown to pieces."
