72 Playing The Game
Zeras looked at the strange helmet in his hands but he didn't immediately wear it and he put that down beside the sofa instead while grabbing the Manual and reading that first.
He read over the introduction as his eyes dawned in realization.
The EIA gods battle wasn't some type of class as he formerly thought, it was a Virtual reality game.
The EIA engineering faculty created a virtual reality world where the students can engage in battles, missions, and quests replicated in real worlds in other to improve their abilities and problem-solving skills. It was more of a simulation involving different worlds and backgrounds.
Most importantly, there was a ranking of the students as they played the game, which ensured they moved higher and it was even possible to gain points in the game which can be used to buy materials in the EIA.
Looking at the different advice given about the equipment mentioned in the manual notably amongst is was: it would be best if the users were in a lying position before putting the helmets on in the game to avoid pain in the bones. Besides, the virtual reality world is virtual, and dying there though possible is not real. But the trauma of death is real and the user better be prepared, something the EIA plotted very well before the game's release.
Zeras lay on his sofa as he slowly wore the helmet on his head and the large goggles on his eyes.
He noticed it was strangely a perfect fit as if it was perfectly tailored for him.
Pressing a button, on the side of the helmet.
"WELCOME TO THE EIA gods BATTLE."
He suddenly felt himself being rapidly pulled somewhere as a blinding white light flared abruptly enveloping his senses and rendering his brain blank for some time.
Zeras slowly felt the shoving stop as his brain began processing information once again. Looking around him, he found himself in a white hall with an end far behind the reach of his sight.
A notification panel appeared in front of Zeras but instead of appearing in his head like the Chaos Devourer System's panel. Blue energy coalesced together to form a physical panel in front of him.
Profile Creation
Please choose a name, note: It can't be your real name.
A keyboard appeared in the air as his hands moved towards the keyboard and input a word without thinking.
Congratulations on successfully inputting a name
Zeras looked at the board where thousands of different characters could be seen, Humans, dragonoids, Elvians, Jokers, etc There were hundreds of different profiles.
He slowly swiped over to the human tab, as he chose a very tall but averagely muscular body with flaming dark eyes.
Attributes
Player Name: Erebus
Rankings: 0
Number of defeats: 0
Number of defeated opponents: 0
Number of completed missions:0
Zeras looked at himself seeing his formerly thin body growing a little bigger while he appeared even taller than he was before, approximately 1.9 from his previous 1.8 normal height.
Looking at his attributes with everything being almost zero, he muttered to himself
"So where do I go on so-called missions,"

Zeras's eyebrows furrowed as he didn't want to get his information easily traced back to him, but since the game asked for him not to give his real name, he could guess it had its way of keeping his real identity a secret.
"Ok,"

Zera's eyebrows furrowed looking at the strange name as he couldn't help but wonder what type of psychopath would choose such a name.
Clicking on the accept button, a figure suddenly materialized in front of him.
It was a 2-meter tall human figure with piercing crimson eyes and crimson red hair.
"I see, you finally got the hang of it. You see it's worth it, right?" The tall giant said almost screaming in glee.
"Quinn?..."Zeras asked shocked.
"Yep, it's me," Quinn replied.
"Strange. You can yourself the limitless one? Do you think you're sowm Greek god or something" Zeras asked chuckling to himself.
"The first thing that came to my mind when I saw the keyboard. And you also call yourself Erebus, do you think you're some Chaos god or something..."
"Hey anyway, what do you think of the game, pretty cool huh?." Quinn asked him.
"Except for the fact that there's almost no difference between it and reality. There's nothing cool about it?" Zeras replied uncaringly.
"What the? Didn't you check the Main page? There are countless missions and you can challenge other players to go up the rankings..." Quinn said looking at Zeras his eyes wide open.
"You can do that? Where..."
"Tch, there's no time for where?" I have this mission I already signed up for with other players, let's go..."
Quinn's giant hand grabbed onto Zeras and they both immediately disappeared from space.

Zeras opened his eyes as he looked at the area he was in when suddenly he felt an object soaring with speed behind and almost reflexively, his head bent to the side as a moving cosmic stone moved past his head flaming red hot.
Sweat dripped down his face as one thing was sure, his head would have exploded with a pop, like a crushed watermelon if that stone had hit him.
He took a deep breath in as he saw a group of five around him, while the giant figure of Quinn could be seen.
He unknowingly diverted his gaze as he looked around him and his jaws dropped to the ground.
"Is this...Is this...."
Golden Tickets and Powerstones are greatly appreciated. Let's appear on the rankings too.
