Chapter 7: A Non-Serene Ride

Aurenian citizens swarmed about their daily routines in the bustling city, their lively chatter filling the air with energy.

As they rode along, a vibrant array of carts maneuvered through the crowd—some adorned with colorful banners, while others boasted intricate carvings.

"Yeeehaaw!!"

Atty, in her typical fashion, navigated through the busy streets with a racer's instinct, her Tycart weaving around slower carts and pedestrians. Some drivers hurriedly steered aside, trying to evade her erratic maneuvers.

"Whoa! Hey, Atty! We're about to crash!" Suria shouted, pointing towards the Tycart crossing their path.

Atty, with a reckless disregard for safety, yanked the reins, guiding the Tycart in a sharp swerve. They narrowly avoided a collision, speeding past the other vehicle.

Purnama, stunned by the sudden maneuver, was unsure whether to be shocked, amazed, or simply resigned to the madness.

"Ha! Ain't nothin' ta worry 'bout when I'm y'all's Ty handler!"

Suria let out a sigh of relief.

"Phew... That was close!" She glanced at Purnama, a mix of exhilaration and fear in her eyes.

"Anyway, Purnama, I think this is our chance to visit Rona! Wouldn't it be amazing to live there? Imagine experiencing all those magical wonders firsthand!" Suria's eyes sparkled with excitement as the wind whipped through her hair.

"I've been there," Purnama replied, a hint of nostalgia in his voice.

Suria blinked in surprise.

"WHAT?! Why didn't you ever tell me about that before?!"

"Because you never asked," he shot back, his tone matter-of-fact, though he couldn't hide his amusement.

"S-so what's it like? Is it really like what the book says?"

Purnama turned to her, genuinely intrigued.

"What does the book say?"

Suria enthusiasm bubbling over as she recounted the wonders of Rona.

"It goes something like this: you become not you; time flows differently, almost like a dream. There's heavenly food everywhere—fruits that glow and sweets that sing! Day and night become a continuous festival, with all sorts of magical creatures dancing and playing instruments that float through the air, creating melodies that shimmer like sunlight on water."

With a spark in her eye, Suria continues painting a vivid picture of Rona with her words.

"You can experience all four seasons in a single day, with cherry blossoms falling in the warmth of summer, golden leaves swirling in autumn, and snowflakes dancing in the winter breeze—all at once! The ambiance is pure magic, as if the very air is alive with enchantment!"

The Tycart jolted over a stone, and Atty's voice cut in, rich with her signature charm.

"Shoot, that sounds like a hoot! I'd love to race through there! Just imagine me zoomin' past them magical critters and snaggin' up them glowin' fruits! Y'all are dreamin' big!" She kept her eyes on the reins, her focus unwavering, though clearly catching bits of their chatter over the rumble of the Tycart.

The cityscape gradually transitioned, the vibrant chaos gave way to a quieter, more tranquil scene.

The Tycart entered an Aurenian residential area, where the homes were built from natural stones of all colors and shapes—some gleaming white, others rich amber, with deep reds and browns interspersed.

The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers and fresh greenery. Trees lined the streets, their leaves rustling softly in the breeze, while vines crept along the stone walls, adding to the serene beauty of the neighborhood.

The only sounds were the rhythmic clatter of the Tycart's wheels and the occasional murmur of a passerby.

Purnama chuckled softly, enchanted by Suria's vivid description.

"Well… it sounds like the book got it right. Maybe I had a different experience, but Rona is indeed a marvelous place."

"I want to go! I want to go! Can we visit Rona, Purnama?" Suria pleaded, her excitement palpable, her hands clasped tightly as if holding onto her dream.

"To be honest, I don't know exactly where the entrance to Rona is," Purnama admitted, his tone shifting to one of seriousness, the weight of uncertainty settling in.

"Are you trying to confuse me, Purnama? Have you really been to Rona, for goodness' sake? They say it exists on every living planet, between the land and the sky, but in a different dimension!" Suria complained, frustration creeping into her voice, her hands flailing dramatically.

"Well… that's true," Purnama acknowledged, his gaze thoughtful.

"But the entrance keeps changing locations. The only way to know you're in Rona's territory is when the Dykin seed starts to glow."

Suria frowned, her excitement waning slightly.

"So, you're saying it's like a treasure hunt? That sounds so… uncertain."

"Exactly," Purnama said, a hint of a smile breaking through.

"But isn't that part of the adventure? The unknown can be just as thrilling as the known."

Suria sighed dramatically, crossing her arms and pouting playfully.

"I suppose you have a point. Still, I'll keep dreaming about it!"

"Dreamin' is all fine and dandy, but don't forget to live it too!" Atty called out, her voice full of enthusiasm.

As they passed through the residential area, a vast farm came into view. Farmers were busy tending to their livestock and wrapping their plants and fruits, preparing them for the night market as the glorious sun began to set.

The sky glowed with warm hues as children learned to handle young Tys, while others waved goodbye to the Celestial Twins with bright smiles.

Instead of following the usual path, Atty chose a more daring route, guiding the Tycart across one hill after another, the farming area shrinking behind them.

As they reached the top of a steep rise, it seemed like a dead end, but then the Langit Station emerged, silhouetted against the breathtaking sunset.

Spotting a shortcut, Atty slowed at the peak, her keen gaze fixed on the winding path below.

"Hold on tight!" she shouted, her excitement bubbling over as she careened down the slope.

The Tycart bounced wildly, jostling the twins. Purnama braced himself, heart racing, while Suria let out a startled scream, gripping the sides of the cart.

"Told ya, I know the shortcut! Yeeehaaaaw!!"

Miraculously, Atty landed safely, her laughter ringing out as she sped toward the Langit Station heading to Platform 3B.

Suria and Purnama exchanged wide-eyed glances, both stunned and impressed as Atty skillfully maneuvered the Tycart, leaving a cloud of dust in their wake.
