Chapter 64: A Spider…
(Celia’s POV)
I wished to find the weaker ones first now, as; I didn’t want them to die before I could find and recruit them. As such, I did just that. Five kingdoms over, was the next player for me to recruit.
Now… I looked all over, ignoring the clear being before me. But I couldn’t find any player who resembled a human. Instead… the divinity was coming from a spider…
Celia: “Most of the players that I’ve met… started the game as a human. Why are you a spider?” I ask.
Spider: “…”
Celia: “Right… you can’t speak. Wait! Don’t get close to me… I have a fear of spiders.” I say with a nervous tone, as the spider started to walk toward me.
Spider: “ಠ ͜ʖ ಠ”
Celia: “Hey, you might be a spider that doesn’t have facial expressions, but I can tell that you’re giving me a smug face right now!” I said with an angry pout.
Ah, this was going nowhere fast… While still decently scared, I showed the spider my Status. Of course, once I showed it to her, she had stopped acting all smug, and now showed… well, she can’t do expressions. But I felt a respecting aura from her now.
Celia: “How many levels do you need to evolve into a human?” I ask.
Spider: “…” She couldn’t speak, but she wrote out a number, which was 50.
Only fifty? How easy… Anyway, I put out five of those level crystals out for her, and a bowl. She was pretty small, so she couldn’t eat them. As such, I decided to use magic to crush the crystals. Just small enough to where she could eat them.
Spider: “…”
At first, she was clearly reluctant to eat the strange crystal bits. Though, once she ate just a small bit, she started to eat the crystals fast. Well, she was a spider, so she couldn’t eat that fast… Huh, I wonder what happens if you eat a broken up level crystal? Taking a bite of a very small piece… I leveled up ten times???
Celia: “( ・⌓・`)”
Maralia: “What did you do this time?” She asked with a sigh, popping out of nowhere, and placing her hand on my head.
While she did this, I could tell that the world was frozen in time. Eh, at least this spider girl won’t be seeing my new wife in all her glory. Look, this time it wasn’t my fault. It was the shoddy programming of the creator of this game!!!
Maralia: “That is… a major oversight. I will report this and even get a bonus. Thanks, Celia! You’re truly the best wife!” She said, happily giving me a tight, booby-filled hug.
Celia: “What about the spider?” I ask, struggling to speak through her large chest which my head was shoved into.
Maralia: “I have a lot of power, you know. So, I have already patched this exploit. Don’t worry about it anymore.” She answered.
Chatting with Maralia a bit more, the woman then left to go report about this exploit that I found. Look, she might be getting credit for my work, but she is my wife, so I don’t feel even the least bit upset about this. Now, spider girl, evolve already!!!
