Chapter 34: Investigated.
(Celia’s POV)
Looking at the woman, she was dressed like OL, but my eyes were drawn to one specific of her outfit… her badge! It was clearly a UPF badge… Oh, shit. Sava might be in trouble, and we might also be in deep shit…
Pamala: “My name is Pamala of the UPF. Specifically, I am a Police Chief. Now, explain how you’ve gotten this power.” She said with a serious tone.
Celia: “Do I have to? I haven’t cheated in any way at all.” I reply.
Pamala: “Though we do not approve of this game, we do oversee it. As such, we must ensure that the game plays out as fairly as it can. Miss June, over there, is in the process of evolving into a Goddess. In the hundreds of thousands of dimensions where the game is taking place, not a single person has evolved into an Empowered Human, let alone a Goddess.” She explained.
Celia: “…”
Pamala: “With this clear difference in the current trend of the game, I have more than enough reason to detain you both, which would automatically withdraw you two from the game. Please, I don’t like this game, but rules are rules. It is in your best interests to explain it all to me.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “Uh… can I get a lawyer? I’ve learned that talking to authorities without legal counsel is usually a bad idea…” I nervously ask.
Pamala: “…If you wish for a lawyer, then you will have to be out of the game, Miss Celia.” She replied.
Celia: “…”
Shit… this might be horribly bad! How can I really explain it all to her? I feel like even just half of it is enough to get me imprisoned for many, many years… This can’t happen! I have to save my family!!! Fuck…
Pamala: “Shall I push this up the ladder, Miss Celia?” She proposed.
Celia: “What do you mean?” I reply with a confused tone.
Pamala: “This matter is very complex, that much I can easily tell, but I have no means to protect you in the least. Though, the leader of the UPF could… I feel like you’re on our side, so I wish to help you.” She answered.
Celia: “Then… please do.” I agree.
With a nod, the woman made a call. I couldn’t hear any of the words that were spoken, but the women then soon left after giving me a bow. Then, before I could relax even for a few seconds, another person showed up…
Maralia: “Hello, I am Maralia, current head of the UPF.” She said with a light smile.
This woman was absolutely beautiful… Her hair was a silver white, with even her eyebrows being the same color. And her eyes were… deep red. Truly, Maralia was an absolute beauty. Too bad, I have no more room in my heart for any more wives…
Celia: “Nice to meet you, Miss Maralia.” I say with a smile of my own.
Maralia: “Now then, should we get down to business?” She replied.
Celia: “Depends on the business…” I reply.
Maralia: “It would seem that you and Miss June had cheated in some way… In the countless games that were held, there has never been one cheater in history. Rather than arrest you two, I am actually far more interested in how you managed to cheat so well.” She clarified.
Celia: “…”
Maralia: “Rest assured, inform me of the method, then Miss June and you can go free.” She expressed with a very believable tone.
Celia: “We didn’t really cheat… Though, I did go into the game with many benefits prior to it starting.” I replied with a sigh.
Maralia: “Benefits? What kind?” She asked with a curious tone.
Celia: “If you stick to your words, then I will let you explore my memories.” I say in reply.
Maralia: “My words are absolute, and none can challenge me. In all of existence, only those lazing around in Home could hope to go against me, Miss Celia.” She said with a confident tone.
Maralia was wearing a military x OL like outfit, so believing her was pretty easy. The woman had a dense air of authority surrounding her, and I was decently sure that she was fully telling the truth. As such, I relented, and let her explore the depths of my memories…
Some Memory Exploration Later.
Celia: “…”
Pomf!
Maralia: “So soft and… cute.” She commented with a seductive tone.
Ignoring the still evolving June, the UPF leader had pushed me onto the bed. She was straddling my waist, as well as pressing her breasts against my own. I could feel her breaths on my face…
She wasn’t just breathing, though. Her breath… I could feel her arousal and desire from each time that she had breathed on me. Her desire was red hot, and I was beyond scared at the moment.
This woman was… Good Goddess, she was the strongest being that I have ever encountered!!! Not even Sava compares to her strength and power, let alone her sway over existence and other universes… My heart was racing, knowing full well that, if this woman willed it, I couldn’t ever escape her in this life…
Maralia: “You can feel it, can’t you?” She asked after placing my hand upon one of her soft breasts.
Celia: “…”
Maralia: “Not the softness of my breasts, silly girl. You can feel my heart beating, yes?” She clarified her question.
Celia: “I can, yes.” I answer with a nod.
Maralia: “For… perhaps since the dawn of existence, my heart had never beaten even once before. Meeting you even for just a second… my heart throbbed and struggled to beat for the first time ever.” She said with a smile.
Celia: “…”
Maralia: “And then… I saw your memories, realizing who you were to me. My heart is finally alive and well, and I, truly, at this exact moment, feel alive. This is a first, dear. Oh, Celia. I will be your last wife! Accept me into your heart, and you will not regret it in the least. This I swear upon my very soul.” She said with a warm tone, lightly rubbing my cheek.
Celia: “We… I only met you minutes ago, Maralia…” I reply, trying to not look the girl in the eyes.
Her eyes felt like I could easily get endlessly lost just from looking into them. There was a burning desire depicted in them, one that isn’t explained by Maralia wanting a one-night stand.
But my morals are greatly preventing me from accepting her into my heart right now. While my family is surely suffering in the game, I am having just a great and easy time, and even managed to snag yet another wife… What should I do?…
