Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Chapter 36: New People.

Hello! This is my latest novel! Unlike my other novels, this one isn't finished yet. The first volume is finished, though. And you can buy it on Amazon here. If you would be so kind, you can also get the first volume(and anything else I've made.) on my Patreon for donating $10 or over that, here. If you wish for updates, the $10 and over tiers will give you access to chapters when I actually finish them. (Maybe one a day? Idk, as I will be mainly working on other novels as well. But, there will at least be one new chapter every few days.)

Chapter 36: New People.

*Celia’s POV*

Waking up in immense pain once more… Actually, I was perfectly fine! No pain at all. What the heck? Opening my eyes, I could see a beautiful woman, with platinum blond hair. Her breasts weren’t anything to overlook either. The woman was probably in her thirties, but she did not look like it at all. Though, she did look like a milf. A very noble milf at that…

Aww… she gave me a lap pillow? Then all of the blood that I shed, was absolutely worth it! Hey, you try receiving a lap pillow from a total milf, and not be absolutely content with your lot in life.

Celia: “Hello, could I ask how I was saved? I was pretty sure that I was going to end up dying.” I ask with a curious tone, after I sat up from her lap.

Blond Milf: “Luckily, my long time friend, who you also ended up saving, can use healing and cleaning magic.” She said with a giggle.

Great… another giggly girl. Eh, I am starting to find girls giggling to be cute, so I guess that I should stop being irked by it at this point.

Celia: “Ah, I see. That is quite fortunate. My name is Celia, what are your names?” I ask with a smile.

Blond Milf: “My name is Areina, of the Hertria family. My friend here is Sana, also from my family.” She replied.

Celia: “She’s your sister? Why call her your friend then? I think that calling someone your sister would be more intimate, right?” I ask with a head tilt.

Sana: “That is correct. But I have known her my entire life as a friend. A year ago, my entire family was assassinated, with only me surviving. Areina graciously adopted me into her family.” She said with a respectful tone.

Sana had deep black hair that only went to her shoulders. Her eyes were a stark yellow. Frankly, she was just as beautiful as Areina is. Ah, to be surrounded by beautiful milf’s… I am very lucky!

Areina: “That is correct, I couldn’t just let her live alone, after all. If she ended up being assassinated, I don’t know how I could live without her.” She said with a sigh.

Celia: “Were those “bandits” hired by the same people who wants her dead?” I ask with a serious tone.

Oddly, they both looked shocked by what I said. I could see their reactions, since I moved to the opposite seat after I got up from Areina’s lap. But why those reactions?…

Sana: “It is highly likely. Though, to think that they would assassinate Areina along with me. They must truly wish for my death.” She said with a fed up tone and expression.

Rather than talk more, Areina looked to calm the upset Sana down. I understand why she would react like this. In her mind, it was almost her fault that her best friend died.

Now, here is a weird thing… Why the fuck can I understand them!? Don’t I only know the demon language? These two aren’t speaking it, nor did those fake bandits. I didn’t notice at the time, since I was too excited…

Ruina: “That was one of the things that they altered. They gave you the knowledge to speak the common tongue of the humans on this continent.” She said.

Man… I am going to kill the SHIT out of those higher beings, if I ever get my hands on them. But like I’ve said before, that is a problem for the future me.

Areina: “Ah, our apologies, Celia. I am sorry for ignoring you.” She said with an embarrassed tone.

Celia: “It is alright.” I reply with a giggle.

Sana: “Yes. Celia, I ever so grateful for you for saving Areina and I, as well as my daughter.” She said with a bow.

Celia: “Daughter?” I say with a head tilt.

Areina: “Do you remember the knight that rushed into your fight that you saved? That is Pia, Sana’s only child.” She explained for her friend.

Celia: “Your daughter is knight? But isn’t she a noble?” I ask.

I do not know much about this world, but going by the fantasy stories that I’ve read and watched; surely her daughter wouldn’t need to become a knight, right?

Sana: “She wished to become a knight, and I eventually gave in and let her.” She said with a sigh.

Areina: “Yes, I remember how Pia also asked me to try to convince you. It was very funny. Anyhow, Celia, what is your destination?” She asked with a smile.

Celia: “Hm? Ah, my destination is Tuseoun.” I reply.

Sana: “Did you go on foot? I would scold you, a young girl, for going on foot, but because of that, you ended up saving us. So I can’t really complain.” She said with a laugh.

Celia: “No, I didn’t go on foot. I used the teleportation array.” I say.

Areina: “Then why were you in the forest? I could have sworn that I saw you come out of it…” She said with a questioning tone and expression.

Celia: “For reasons I do not know, when I enter the array, I ended up being teleported up in the sky, a little ways away from where you two were stuck at.” I reply honestly.

I can’t have them think that I am a spy of some kind, after all. These two are nobles, so I shouldn’t be pissing them off, or making them suspect me.

Areina: “Truly? That is very unfortunate for you, but very fortunate for us.” She said with a giggle.

Sana: “Since that hero isn’t alive to maintain and repair the teleportation arrays that she made, such accidents have been happening as of late.” She said with a sigh.

Areina: “Ah, right. Celia, we put your dagger and sword back into your spatial pouch.” She said after she realized that she forgot to mention it.

Celia: “Really? Thanks! I was worrying about what happened to them. As they were gifts, I do not wish to lose them.” I reply with a smile.

I was clearly far too hard on Yona. She had given me so much already, and yet, I have given her nothing. I found it odd how an amazing teacher like me, would end up being so ungrateful. But I shall chock it up to me being in a child form at the time. Which most likely messed with how I thought about things.

Wishing to talk with them more, I was about to open my mouth before I let out a big yawn. Which caused me to go red in the face with embarrassment.

Sana: “I was able to heal your wounds, but you still lost a lot of blood. Even if you’re an adult, you should still rest more.” She said with a concerned tone.

Celia: “Adult? Wait… how old does someone need to be considered an adult? Ah, I lived in a forest all by myself for a long period of time. So I don’t understand most things.” I ask with a curious tone.

Areina: “Hm? Oh, as you have to reach a certain age to be able to fully utilize magic, most humans are not considered adults until they reach 25 years of age. It is different for the other races, though, so keep that in mind.” She explained.

Celia: “Ah, well, I am sorry to say, but I am actually only 16 years old.” I say with a slightly embarrassed tone and expression.

Areina: “…”

Sana: “…”

Celia: “What?” I say with a head tilt.

Areina: “Celia… do you have a way to prove your age? I mean; surely you used body strengthening magic, which was why you were able to deal with those soldiers in disguise, right?” She asked with an unsure tone and expression.

Celia: “I cannot use any magic, so no. And to say that I was able to deal with them, would be an exaggeration. I did almost die, you know.” I say with a shrug.

Sana: “Still, it is hard to believe that a 16 year old, who is 8 years younger than my own daughter, actually saved us. Celia, we will believe you if you show us your Guild card.” She said with a serious tone.

Celia: “Guild card?” I say with another head tilt.

Sana: “…”

Areina: “Celia, we shall take you to the Guild to get you a card. We’re sorry for doubting your words, but we still cannot believe your age. I mean, you do look young, but how you fought was like a veteran warrior.” She said with a sigh.

Sana: “Guild cards will accurately state your current age, please rest assured. Once we confirm your age, we will apologize profusely.” She said.

Celia: “Okay, I don’t mind. I was planning on getting one anyway.” I say with a shrug.

Thus, the trip to our destination proceeded without any interruptions. Despite their lack of belief of my age, they still talked to me like everything was normal. And we all went through a life and death situation, so it was far easier to bond with each other.

I can’t wait to see Tuseoun! That small town in Yona’s kingdom was super pretty already, I wonder how much prettier this kingdom will be?
