NOVEL NEXT Chapter 7: Tank Fight cancelled Again and Again
Gervonta "Tank" Davis' fight against Lamont Roach has been cancelled yet again. Originally set for December 2024, it was rescheduled for March 2025 but now cancelled once more. In my opinion, this fight shouldn't happen at all. Tank needs to fight someone in his own division.
Duck or no duck, Tank has to face the best if he wants to solidify his legacy, especially since he's stated that 2025 will be his last year. Knowing Tank, he'll likely only fight twice in 2025. Hopefully, Roach is off the table, and he takes on someone like Shakur Stevenson or Vasiliy Lomachenko.
Keyshawn Davis is already set to fight another champion. If he wins, we could see Shakur vs. Davis and Keyshawn vs. Gervonta. As for Loma, there's talk of retirement, so time is running out for that matchup.
These are the fights Tank needs to have. If he wins them, his legacy will be cemented as one of the best.
