Chapter 3: Results Of Event (Fury vs Usyk 2)
Johnny Fisher didn't impress, but he showed heart and resilience. Do I agree with the decision? Not really. Watching it live, I thought Dave Allen won, but hey, a rematch could happen. Maybe Fisher's team should take it easy with him and feed him easier opponents until he regains his confidence—he had nothing on Dave.
As for Moses Ituama—wow. He came, saw, and smashed it against a credible opponent. Some say he's ready for the top 10 at just 19, but I'd wait two more fights before putting him at the top level. Too many times we've rushed prospects too quickly. Very excited to see more from him.
Serhii Bohachuk had a solid performance against Ishmael Davis. Davis started strong in the first two rounds but got dropped, and from there it went downhill. I respect Davis for stepping in on short notice. As for Bohachuk, hopefully, he gets a rematch with Vergil Ortiz Jr.
Finally, Usyk vs Fury 2. A technical chess match compared to the first fight. Usyk adapted well, made quick changes, and executed his game plan perfectly. Fury did better at avoiding damage, but it was still a mediocre performance. He could've done more. People calling it a robbery need to watch the fight and score it properly. I had Usyk winning 7-5, and he was the rightful winner. Overall, a great fight and a solid way to end the year.
