Zachary, hovering in midair while controlling his sword, had never expected that merely observing could lead to witnessing such a spectacle.

Originally, he thought this was just a plane on the verge of collapse, but unexpectedly, such a change occurred.

It turned out that even a collapsing plane's indigenous people wouldn't just give up like in movies and TV shows; instead, they would do everything possible to save their plane and prevent its collapse.

However, much as he admired them for still trying to save their plane even now, when it came time for Dong Tianyu to take action and plunder the remaining Plane Origin from them, he would not hesitate.

After all, no matter how much he sympathized with their situation, Dong Tianyu would not give up the benefits he could gain. He was no saint, and while he might show kindness occasionally, it had to be without compromising his own interests.

Watching the battle on the ground gradually calm down, Dong Tianyu also pondered how to infiltrate the base.

When Dong Tianyu reached less than a hundred meters from the walls, instead of rushing to invade, he hovered in place and then used his Divine Sense to explore the interior of the base.

Through his Divine Sense observation, Dong Tianyu noticed that although this base was in a fully enclosed state, the vast majority of residents within seemed to be very satisfied with their current lives.

And most importantly, most residents inside the base seemed to have adapted to this way of life, so there were no signs of anguish on their faces; instead, they were brimming with happy smiles.

Beyond people's livelihoods, Dong Tianyu also specifically used his Divine Sense to search for the Treasures containing a large amount of Origin Power hidden within the base.

However, Dong Tianyu had not expected that the Treasures containing a significant amount of Plane Origin, which he thought would be hidden in a secret, heavily guarded warehouse.

But to his surprise, after observing with his Divine Sense, they didn't hide those Treasures in a private treasury but brazenly placed them in the central square of the marketplace, guarded only by a squad of twelve guards.

Dong Tianyu couldn't fathom why they would dare to so openly display their valuables.

In fact, Dong Tianyu was mistaken. They didn't hide the Treasures containing Plane Origin in secret because they had learned from their past failures. The invaders came from different planes, and nobody knew what kind of Special Abilities those who invaded this Plane might possess.

They had tried hiding the Treasures in secret vaults before, but after encountering someone with Earth Escape abilities, all the Treasures initially hidden in the vault were cleaned out by the invader.

Because of this experience, they tried various hiding methods. Yet, facing a never-ending stream of invaders with different abilities,

They had an epiphany!

The more hidden the items, the higher the success rate for a determined thief, and not only could they steal without immediate detection, but they could also easily escape unnoticed.

After several such incidents, the indigenous people decided to display the Treasures containing vast amounts of Plane Origin right in the center of the square. Unless someone broke into the base, any invader who wished to steal the Treasures would be immediately detected.

And if the invaders intent on theft were discovered by the natives, their chances of escaping the base were virtually nil.

The reason for this is that the Plane Will, having awakened, embedded a locatable backup while infusing the Treasures with Plane Origin. With this backup, even if the invaders placed the Treasures into Space Equipment, as long as they didn't leave this Plane, the Plane Will could lock onto their position instantly, regardless of whether the Treasures are in Storage Space.

With the direct lock from Plane Will, it's like having a tracker while playing hide-and-seek; no matter the invader's methods of concealment, by following the location of the Plane Origin, capturing the invader might be uncertain, but at least the location of the Treasures could always be secured.

But Dong Tianyu, looking at the square, saw that each display case only held one Treasure, and crucially, through his observation, not all the display cases on the square contained Treasures brimming with substantial Plane Origin. Instead, some of the items displayed in the glass cases were just more exquisite decorations.
