Under normal circumstances, even exceptional prodigies wouldn't be able to fully absorb the Spirit Energy drawn by a Top Level Method, let alone Dong Tianyu who practiced a Superpower Technique.

However, once Dong Tianyu acquired a constitution that could directly devour Spirit Energy, the situation underwent a qualitative change, as his limbs and skin could indiscriminately devour Spirit Energy, potentially boosting his cultivation efficiency by countless times.

Based on his personal experience, Dong Tianyu gave this newly acquired special energy a rather cliché name—Life Energy.

The use of this Life Energy was actually very singular, as absorbing this energy over a long period could slowly promote the evolution of the body.

The reason the creatures within the Cave exhibited these changes was actually because the Cave, after decomposing that Tree Heart, released all of the Life Energy that had been accumulated within it.

Although this life-devouring ability seemed to overlap with the original decomposing ability of the Cave, consider this newly emerged Life Energy: it could only be obtained by decomposing targets containing Life Energy.

But once the Cave obtained the special ability of the Sky-Reaching Giant Tree, as long as the target was a living entity, the Cave could choose to directly devour the target and then convert it into Life Energy to be released within the Cave.

Of course, compared to the earlier decomposing ability where virtually anything could be decomposed, to transform and obtain Life Energy, the selected target must be one that still harbored life and hadn't died. Otherwise, even if devoured, it couldn't successfully convert into that extremely special Life Energy.

Frankly speaking, Dong Tianyu was very pleased with this new function of the Cave, but for him, it was just the icing on the cake. What really excited Dong Tianyu was whether the Cave had reached the evolutionary standard after decomposing the Sky-Reaching Giant Tree.

Previously, whenever the progress bar reached one hundred percent, the Cave would evolve immediately. Yet, although the evolutionary progress bar was already at one hundred percent, the Cave showed no signs of evolution, leaving Dong Tianyu somewhat taken aback.

After sensing a potential issue, Dong Tianyu immediately shifted his gaze back to the progress bar and saw a bracket after the one hundred percent indicator. The content inside the bracket read "lacks World Foundation".

Though Dong Tianyu recognized every character within the brackets, the combined meaning confused him.

Although Dong Tianyu didn't understand the significance of the World Foundation mentioned within the brackets, there was still a saying: as long as there were sufficient Survival Points in the Cave, there wasn't a problem that couldn't be solved. If there was, it simply meant that the number of accumulated Survival Points was insufficient.

Compared to learning Cultivation Techniques, the consumption of Survival Points for acquiring knowledge-type information was not very high. Therefore, after knowing the price of such information, Dong Tianyu didn't hesitate and immediately spent Survival Points to understand what exactly the World Foundation, that was missing in the Cave, was.

The World Foundation was not a fixed creature or item, but it was as essential to building a house as a foundation. Be it a true world or the so-called smaller worlds, each must possess this element.

What the World Foundation could be varied—it might be the World Tree in a West Fantasy world, Pangu Spine, also known as Cycle Mountain in the Primordial era, it could also be the mythical beasts from five directions (Azure Dragon, White Tiger, Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, Ancient Dragon), or even those thirty-six Ocean Stabilizing Beads from legends capable of evolving the universe.

The World Foundation was never a fixed element; its sole function was to anchor its corresponding world in the river of time.

To put it simply, if one were to compare the river of time to a tumultuous long river, having a World Foundation made a world like a rock firmly anchored in the water; no matter how turbulent the surface waves were, they couldn't shake that rock even slightly.

However, if a world lost its respective World Foundation, it would be like a paper boat drifting along in the river. Although the boat might seem to be floating and following the current for now, as time passed, who knew when a giant wave might arise and flip the small paper boat over, inevitably sinking it to the bottom of the sea eventually.
