Cave Refuge

Since Divine Sense failed to detect any problem, Dong Tianyu simply decided to break down the problem's main body, thinking that even if he ended up empty-handed, it would at least make him feel relieved.

However, when Dong Tianyu landed on the ground and looked at the tree trunk that was as extensive as a city wall and seemed to have no edges, he immediately began to doubt the approach he had contemplated earlier.

As Dong Tianyu kept infusing his palm with Spirit Power, the giant tree on the ground began to shake more and more. When half of his Spirit Power was depleted, the towering giant tree, which stretched into the clouds through constant shaking, was uprooted.

As the last root of the Sky-Reaching Giant Tree detached from the ground, the originally massive tree gradually vanished like an illusion. Meanwhile, the miniature illusion of the tree in Dong Tianyu's palm began to solidify, eventually appearing as a reduced-scale model prop in his hand.

Although the Giant Tree had now become a model firmly grasped in his hand, Dong Tianyu's Spirit Power continued to flow into his palm like a gentle stream.

After briefly experiencing the Spirit Power needed to maintain Universe in the Palm, Dong Tianyu immediately entered the Cave and did not toss the model out but tried to use the decomposition function inside the Cave.

As the decomposition function in the Cave was activated, the Sky-Reaching Giant Tree, which had previously been in the center of Dong Tianyu's palm, gradually rose from his hand and then floated directly in front of him, akin to a peeled onion.

Noticing the canaries' actions, Zachary immediately used his Divine Sense to communicate with them, calming their nerves. He informed them that the mutations of the plants were the results of his experiment and told them not to worry, just to return to their rooms and wait. He would inform them with his Divine Sense when the experiment was over.

After sending the canaries back to their rooms, Zachary then started to inspect the sudden plant mutations within the Cave.

However, just as Zachary was about to take action, the poultry that had been roaming freely in the livestock area suddenly let out mournful screams.

Upon arriving where the poultry lived, Zachary saw them in intense pain, continuously rolling on the ground. During their constant rolling, their feathers fell off one by one, and even black blood started to ooze from the pores where the feathers had fallen off.

Seeing the painful reaction of the poultry, Zachary was about to use his Divine Sense for a thorough check of their bodies when suddenly, agonizing screams also came from the livestock area.
