Although Zachary had provided a more convenient screening method, it was nearly impossible for them to leave the base like Zachary did and go to Eagle Sauce to search for the Awakened Potion.

Seeing that the dishes were already served on the dining table and everyone else had taken their seats, the three of them stopped chatting and sat together, which made it convenient to eat and chat over drinks.

After the lively dinner ended, Zachary and Ye Liuyun agreed that Ye Liuyun would handle the contract procedures the next day, and he would dive underwater to collect soil.

The next morning, Zachary left the base and, following the agreement with Ye Liuyun from the day before, went straight to the bottom of the sea to dig up soil.

During the descent on his Companion Spiritual Treasure, Zachary saw other Companion Spirits that had chosen the submersible navigation branch, and he watched them grab storage boxes with their mechanical arms from outside their cabins, but he didn't interfere and continued to descend.

The task of digging soil was somewhat boring, but because Zachary had a huge storage space, he did not need to travel back and forth between the surface and the seabed like the others.

Zachary only began his ascent after he had collected enough soil underwater at once, and then returned to the base with the Companion Spiritual Treasure.

The Lone Wolves and certain factions were still in a state of mutual hostility, but since there was no competition, Ye Liuyun's process of handling the paperwork went very smoothly.

The third day, before Zachary even left the house, Ye Liuyun came over early to find him.

"Do you have something on your mind for coming to find me so early?"

"Yesterday, I finished processing the land contracting procedures, would you like to go and see the specific area first? After getting an idea of the size, you could continue soil collection underwater."

Hearing what Ye Liuyun said, Zachary didn't tell her that he had already collected enough soil underwater the day before and simply followed her to take a look.

Zachary hadn't noticed the day before, but when he came out with Ye Liuyun today, he saw that right at the hotel entrance, she hailed two rickshaws and brought him along to the Plantation Area she had contracted.

When the two arrived at the Plantation Area and stepped off the rickshaws, Zachary noticed that the Plantation Area had been divided into different sections by the pre-constructed roads. At that point, only a sparse three contracted areas contained soil; the rest were still empty.

As they walked, Ye Liuyun explained to Zachary: "To contract a Plantation Area from the Officials, besides paying the rent, you're also required to fill in the soil yourself.

Moreover, they have stipulated that if within three months there are still no crops or plants growing in the contracted area, the Officials have the right to take back that area."

Hearing Ye Liuyun say this, Zachary just nodded and did not say anything. After all, the reason the Officials opened the Plantation Area to contracting was because there were few Martial Artists who chose the submersible evolution branch for their Companion Spirits at this time.

Otherwise, such a profitable venture would have been snatched up clean by those with connections by the time the ordinary people learned of it.

It wasn't long before the two reached the area Ye Liuyun had just contracted yesterday, and seeing a hole about a meter deep, Ye Liuyun shrugged her shoulders:

"All the Plantation Areas are the same; the Officials have dug the pits in advance to prevent skimping on the work. Thus, these holes are all one meter deep, which allows patrol staff to easily verify if the standards are met when it's time to start planting."

"Can you find someone to come over today?"

Surprised by Zachary's abrupt question, Ye Liuyun was still affirmative in her response, even though she was a bit puzzled: "That's easy, what kind of people are you looking to help transport the soil?"

Hearing Ye Liuyun ask this, Zachary casually filled the pits with soil from the storage space and observed her dumbfounded expression, then finally spoke up, "Find someone to watch over this soil, so when we both just left, the soil I just brought over doesn't end up in someone else's contracted area right afterward."

After Zachary said this, Ye Liuyun looked at him, then, turning back to her contracted area, she was surprised to find that the deep pit was now filled with the suddenly-appearing soil.

While the original pits were now filled with soil, not only Ye Liuyun, but also the few others who had been loitering around quickly approached.

Seeing the strangers approaching, Zachary didn't need to think twice; he immediately guessed why they were coming and didn't want any further entanglement. So he directly said, "There shouldn't be anything for me here anymore, I'll take my leave first."

Having said that, Zachary left without looking back, before Ye Liuyun could react.

By the time Ye Liuyun came to her senses and tried to call after Zachary, she realized she was already surrounded by people.

Watching Ye Liuyun encircled by the crowd, Zachary left the scene with a snort.

Seeing that the rickshaw that had brought him was still there, Zachary simply got on and went back to his accommodations at the hotel.

Just as Zachary returned, he saw his parents leaving the house together, presumably heading to the house.

After thinking for a moment, Zachary then addressed Mr. Thompson: "Dad, I've taken care of the soil issue. With nothing much going on now, I'll go out for a few more days. By the time I finish up outside, our house renovation should also be nearly done, so I should be able to come back early."
